If they would have had the new doors in stock they probably would have been installing the same day I called--that's how fast they respond. Of course, they had to order them. I have to start with WOW... Someone in my family, who happens to park in the garage, who happens to drive the minivan.... pulled out of the garage and took the bottom panel of the garage door with her. The van won the battle. I thought I could fix the track that had popped out... but after about 15 minutes I knew I should call someone. The company who left their sticker on the door rang through to voicemail, so I did a quick Google search and found Oxford Overhead Door. The woman who answered the phone was EXTREMELY polite, even understanding I was calling at 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon. Literally 10 minutes later, their service tech Rob pulled into my driveway with a big smile on his face. Rob was very polite, and immediately went to work on the door while even while I distracted him with small talk. He was very organized, went from part to part disassembling the door and pulling everything back into the track. He then proceeded to grab an oil can and literally oiled every moving part of the door for maintenance. After he explained to me how to continue performing maintenance on the door twice a year I asked if they could order a part for a push button code opener that was never installed for our door. With another big smile he opened one of his custom drawers in his van and pulled out the manufacturers exact opener (Important to note it was not a cheap offbrand part) and had it installed in less than two minutes. I'm not kidding... it was less than two minutes. I cannot forget to mention that he arrived & had everything nearly done before my wife even returned from school picking up the kids! Talk about service. I feel their rates were more than fair considering the service, speed and experience that they shared with me. I HIGHLY recommend anyone who needs to have work done on their garage or commercial doors. I will continue to refer them to my friends and clients. Called twice. Finally got a call back and was told they were almost a week out.... no problem. Get a call the morning they are supposed to come and they tell me they will be over between 4-6 pm.... ok. Wait till 6 with no call and no show. Wouldn't recommend them to build a door for a dog house. read more

When I called to request a service appointment for a keyless entry, new remote and figure out why my garage door was sounding loud and clunky the women (yep, a real person) was so nice and professional. Scheduled me for the next day.....What?! I told her I wouldn't be home for part of the day...."not to worry the technician will call you in the morning and confirm a time that works for both of you". I received a call first thing in the morning from John, he gave a time window that worked for me, called me again when he was 15 minutes out. John went right to work, explaining what the problem was and how long it would take to fix. I even added a few things to the list (that I forgot to mention) no problem, again only niceness and professionalism. I went to Oxford overhead door to purchase a garage door spring due to mine braking I showed them the broken spring, a 32" spring. They came out from the back with a 34" spring and told me it would work fine. I did not question there expertise. That night when I got home from work I went into the garage to fix the door. At that time I noticed that there was far more repaired needed to fix the door. Without thinking anything about it I took the spring back without ever using it. I wanted them to come out to the house and give me a quote for a new door. When I asked for a refund and to come out and give me a quote for a new door I was told that they do not have refunds I was surprised by this due to no sign or anything on my recipe saying no refunds. The woman behind the counter told me that when she tells people this they walk out some times. I told her that the other woman that sold me the spring never said anything about a no return policy and that it wasn't posted anywhere or on my receipt. She said that it was posted and showed me a 5x6 frame on the inside of a window opening in another room from were I paid for the item I told her that it should have been posted behind the counter were I paid. I told her that I wanted a new door that would cost $1,100 (price I paid someone else) and that they were losing out on a lot of money so she called the woman I had originally bought the spring from and she said the same thing. No returns. I feel I was taken advantage of by Oxford overhead door by not telling me or having it on the wall or my receipt about the no return policy. I still have the spring that's sitting in my garage and a new door done by another company. read more

I called around noon yesterday hoping to get someone out to service my garage door that broke the night before. Amazingly they had someone available that same day almost an hour later to take a look! I expected them to assess the problem first then come out a different day to fix it but no they immediately were able to fix all the problems right then and there and within an hour we were back to having a functioning garage door. (The fix was the major spring was broken in addition to a cable line and bolt issue). Needless to say I was super impressed. One of the springs broke on my garage door, called midday and made appointment for the following day. The service rep told me if the workers had time later in the afternoon (the day I called) they would come to do the repair. They called later the same day, came over and not only replaced the springs, but also added some bracing that was needed to stabilize the tracks. Very happy with the response time and work done...I will be calling them again the next time I need garage door service. read more
