Upon arrival I waked in and got meet with nothing . I walked up to the front desk and was meet with a rude lady. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or if someone had just ticked her off but her tone was so unwelcoming and uncomfortable. I checked in and got asked for my ID. I've NEVER been asked for my ID at any waxer before, but didn't argue and went to grab it upon coming back she said the price is different because I'm not local so there will be an up charge and I don't get a discount. Upon hearing that I was shocked- an UP CHARGE- because I'm NOT LOCAL?!? I was super shocked and then recalled well I do have another email promotion I got sent as well and told her about it and I didn't even get to finish my sentence and she was like "You aren't local- you don't receive anything " at that point her whole attitude and way of delivering everything she told me sounded rude as if I was beneath her. It was so uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Would NEVER want anyone to be treated this way. She said she needed to take a photo to of me and never explained why, I refused so she said she was gonna take a picture of my ID. Asked to cancel the appointment as a whole and she said okay and she was clicking at her computer for maybe 5 minutes before I asked if I was free to go or had to sign anything and she looked at me with so much disdain and told me "yea - it's been cancelled" I was fuming, she saw me standing there and never once told me anything. I left and I promised I would share my experience so no one had to go through the experience I did, I called another shop that was 5 minutes from there and they were beyond WELCOMING, KIND, ATTENTIVE, and also never asked for my ID or a photo.

I needed a dark cool beige color and what he brought out was a very light Nude skin tone. It looked pink from the bottle. I went to ask him 2 times "is that the same color i chose?" And he had headphones on and couldn't hear me. I needed to motion a third time to grab his attention and he said yes it was, made sure the number was the same, but again, it was NOT the same color. He didn't want to admit it wasn't the same color and grab another one. I wanted to keep my nails as long as possible but they came out like short chunky squares. I'm not totally upset at that but he filed down so much growth ive been waiting for the past weeks. You could see maybe 3-4 mms of nail if you turned my hand and now there is no nail showing. Dip came out bumpy and not square or rectangle. Looks very uneven. Lastly, this service came out to $42, with an addition 18% tip of $8.00 i gave. So $50 in total for a dip manicure. I think it is pretty overpriced considering I've had acrylics and dip with all tips for $40 at other nail salons. I don't think I'll come back here, it was just OK.
