I gave a 2/10 because while the front desk was welcoming, the overall service did not meet expectations. The waxer was not very friendly and didn't make the experience comfortable, especially after I mentioned it had been several years since my last Brazilian. At times the wax also felt very hot, which made the experience more uncomfortable. On top of that, the wax was not done thoroughly and I still have several spots with hair remaining. 5 stars for an absolutely relaxing experience. Needed to get my brows done and saw this place decided to see if they had any opening and lucky me they did. I was greeted by the most relaxing music and the ambiance was just so very peaceful. After a brief conversation and filling out a consent form I was escorted to my treatment room. They use a hard wax and it took me by surprise, it's applied and feels just like regular wax but as fast as it was applied it was removed and it surprised me as I am used to getting a piece of paper rubbed on top of the wax before they can remove the unwanted hairs. It was explained to me that it's a hard wax and it doesn't need the paper to be removed they just quickly lift a corner and off it goes and I do have to say it's actually less painful to me than the other way of wax and paper. I honestly can't remember a time when I relaxed during an eyebrow wax but this place does it all perfectly allowing this exhausted mom to relax during this quick service. Thank you! I loved my first experience at this place. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the second time around. I thought this could be my go to but not anymore. As I got there for my appointment this morning, no one was there and doors were locked. When I got inside 10min later, the person doing my wax asked if she could use sugar instead (not what I booked but I am easy going so I said ok). Then she proceeded to say my leg hair was not long enough and started to *sigh* because she had to actually heat up the other wax (which is the one I prefer anyways). She then brought the wax and started on my legs and kept telling me there were some hairs left. Which I was ok with, I just wish she would at least TRY to wax the front AND back of the leg. She moved to do my Brazilian and I told her I WAS PREGNANT BEFOREHAND, but she kept applying pressure to my pelvis because she still wanted to use the sugar wax??? even though we had the other wax in the room. It was horrifying how painful the whole process was, my legs, Brazilian and underarms. Horrifying because I am Brazilian myself and we love a good wax lol but I've NEVER experienced such a lack of customer service, technique or lack of care AT ALL. She kept sighing through the whole thing as if I was bothering her and I was just trying to be as easy going as possible, never complained once because it was already awkward enough. I left with ONLY the front of my legs waxed because she didn't even ATTEMPT to wax the back, just complained about it and said the hairs wouldn't come out, I WISH she at least tried. My Brazilian looks ok but NEVER AGAIN at this place, it was painful and the lack of care after I SAID I WAS PREGNANT, putting pressure on my pelvis. I wish I had more balls to have refused to pay for this service. My underarms were left with some long hairs, not sure why. Just a horrendous experience overall. I do not know if this person was new (which seemed like it because of the lack of technique when pulling the wax). Beware if you book with Provider: Mairim R. ESPECIALLY if you are pregnant and need someone who is more careful. If you really want to go to this place then ask for Provider: Katherine S. she is the true MVP. Ok, so is more like 4 1/2 stars for this location... One day I was looking for waxing places around the area and found this place. Since then, I'm a regular. It is a small business, but they do manis and pedis, eyebrows, facials, and they have some of their own spa products (scrubs, oils, soaps). Staff is very attentive and they are willing to accommodate you when is more convenient for you. One time, I made an appointment for one day, but had to reschedule and they were willing to take me that same day I called. They close at 7pm and I think the last appointment is at 6:30pm, which is perfect for those who work. Prices are reasonable, in my opinion (when compared with other places). I was looking for a new waxing spot since I moved to the area and am glad I found one! The prices are pretty standard and I paid $50 for a full Brazilian. The appointment process was very easy since I booked online and I got a confirmation call the day before. I went with Jennifer and she was pretty nice and very detailed with getting all the hair. Front desk staff are also very polite. My favorite part is that they are next to Milk Tea Café so after I suffer I can reward myself with boba tea LOL. I'll be returning once a month for my maintenance waxes as I am very satisfied with the quality here. read more

I'm new to this Brazilian thing but this wasn't the experience I was expecting. Katherine, who did my wax, was so sweet but I think the language barrier prevented her from really guiding me through what is obviously a nerve wracking first experience. She brought me back, greeted me, and then said she was going to get the wax. Not knowing procedure or what was going on, I wasn't gonna strip down without someone telling me to, so that was awkward when she came back. The waxing itself was not as bad as I expected. Katherine was as gentle as she could be and used a fan to cool the wax so that it wouldn't burn. It was surprising to me how unhygienic everything seemed. I would assume that they reuse the vats of wax from customer to customer. I'm pretty sure there was only one applicator used so there was some major double dipping going on. The floor seemed sticky under my socks. The paper on the bed barely covered it so I had to kind of hop onto it to avoid my bits touching the bed without the paper. Then when I flipped around and I was face down to the bed, I realized it was covered in hair up by the pillow, which was gross. After all of this, I didn't really check the work that was done before leaving. There's still long hair in the crease of my leg. I would think this would be considered the "bikini" area which would be covered with a Brazilian. There's also still a decent amount of hair still in the back that I expected would have been gone. I definitely could've had a more traumatic first experience, but I'm not sure I'll be back. I picked this place because of the good reviews and decent pricing. I'd rather spend more to not have to still shave afterword. Edit: I'm adding a third start to this review due to the quality of the wax. First and foremost, I want to say that I absolutely LOVE this place. The aesthetic of the "it's all about me" picture wall is super cute. I love that it's full of white flowers. They offer a healthy hot detox tea as you wait for your appointment. The music is so soothing to the heart. This place radiates peace. It radiates light, and love. I came in today for a deep tissue massage. My masseuse was amazing. Words can't fully describe how I feel after this massage. As a server, we tend to carry heavy plates and there's a constant walking back and forth. My shoulders were feeling so heavy, and with a strong tension due to working so hard. I came with the pain, and I am leaving feeling like an absolute light feather. I highly recommend their full body deep tissue massage. ‍ it is so relaxing, and the masseuse has such a peaceful hand; yet she gets in those knots and she releases them all. I'm so grateful I made time for myself to come get this massage today. I got points towards my visit today, and I was also notified that for Mother's Day, there is a special running for the massages. My first time here.. I was referred here by a friend, plus outside on there lights advertise for first timer it would be $25. The girl at the front desk said it would be a twenty min wait. I waited 30 mins in the waiting area and another 10 mins in the wax room. When they tell you to get undress and they will be back, they don't give you anything to cover yourself with like other places I have been to. The place looks clean. The technician, Sharlyne, was very nice. I just wish she didn't slab the wax on and ask me if it's hot after. She did a good job getting my hair all cleaned up (lucky I'm not that type of client who would flip out or my skin was sensitive because that hot wax could burn someone). TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I bought a Groupon back in March and the facial that I received was not great... but I thought maybe I would give this place another chance because specialist is different, and maybe the first specialist was new. I bought another Groupon and spoke to someone on the phone about this situation when I made my appointment. There didn't seem to be a problem with purchasing another Groupon. I went in for my appointment today and was told that I wasn't allowed to purchase a second Groupon until "after 6 months" (my first one was purchased 5 months ago) and that this information was in the fine print. NOWHERE in the fine print had it said these words. I would not have bought it if it did. I was told that I would have to contact Groupon for a refund and that there was nothing they could do to help me. I understand there are rules with Groupon and that I have in some way misunderstood something along the line, but honestly what really bothers me is the TERRIBLE customer service. In no way did they offer to still do the facial at full price, or even the slightly discounted first time facial price. I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed as well, but after not being offered any other services at all and being told we can't help you, I left. I would have been willing to look at the other services they offered and chosen a couple, but the way the two people I spoke to made me FEEL, left a lot to be desired. i've been here two times now. The first service provider I was with I was not a fan. She was quite the entire time which made me feel uncomfortable and she acted like I should just know what's going on without any proper instructions (first time getting a brazilian). She was rude and abrupt and left midway. I did not appreciate how rude she was. And did not want to come back after my experience with her. I was her first appointment for the day so there was no reason why was so rude especially when It was my first time there. However I decided to give this place a second chance (mainly because of proximity), and the Service provider I had was absolutely amazing. She made small talk the entire time which I appreciate especially when you're getting a Brazilian and things get really awkward if you're not comfortable with your service provider. In addition she always made sure that I was comfortable. She made sure that I was happy with the service. I just felt like I found someone who listened to me and her addressed my needs. Come here monthly for a deep pore facial with Maria. Always leave very happy with my service. Maria is very welcoming and always listens to my skin concerns. She offers great suggestions and service to meet any these concerns every single time. My complexion has greatly improved since coming here. Also love their membership service which gets me these monthly facials at a very reasonably price. The Spa is always clean and has a serene, feminine decor. I've come here a few times already and what I love the most is their manicures. I always get the Gel/ shellac with Francel and they come out beautiful and long lasting! I have gone to other places, but when it comes to nails, I'll stay here. The prices on the website are for new customers only though...when i try to book an appt it says $30 for gel.....but they always charge me $35....which is what i pay in most places so it doesnt bother me too much (but should be specified) I have done a facial here as well, the lady who did it for me, Fe, was very experienced and gave me little details/recommendations about my skin type. She gave me a chemical facial made for acne rather than the simple one i had requested, because thats what my skin needed (im prone to acne). I will not come back here for a manicure or pedicure. I left with bloody cuticles and an aching toe because the nail tech dug WAY too deep when cutting nail/cuticle. Nature's Wax & Spa is more wax studio than nail salon. Their "nail salon" is just a make shift room in the back of the building. The pedicure chair is just a chair with an uncomfortable massager attached and the foot bath is one that I could buy at any big box store to do an at-home pedicure. What horrified me was that the nail tech did not use proper sterilization techniques when she made me bleed. She left the blood on my nails (didn't even use alcohol to stop the bleeding), then used a cuticle oil brush on those same nails and put the brush back in the bottle UNSTERILIZED!! That is a dangerous and reckless practice for a nail salon. I left the salon and had to grab my own alcohol wipes from my first aid kit in the car to feel clean again. First time at Nature's wax and spa. New location next to petco in loop. Requested a full Brazilian bikini wax. The person giving the wax contained to go over same ares many times as well as use tweezers, thought maybe ok a few strays. When I was finished with the wax, the person doing wax stayed in room while I got dressed so I felt a little uncomfortable to look at the area that was waxed. I payed and left at 6pm. I arrived home in st. Cloud around 7pm to realize once I looked at the area waxed that my whole bikini line was unwaxed, other areas wasn't smooth and still had hair, and the areas that were waxed were very red and irritated. I decided to call Nature's wax and spa. I was put on the phone with a manager whom said I find that hard to believe because this person has been with us for many years and if your bikini area is unwaxed then that's not a Brazilian bikini wax. The manager asked me to come back when I leave for my cruise tomorrow, it's after 7 pm and I live in st. Cloud. Her reply was then come in after your cruise. I stated that getting a Brazilian bikini wax was meant for the cruise, not to have to come home and shave when I paid a good amount and bikini area now needs shaved. It defeated the purpose to get a wax before my cruise if I'm going to come back in after my cruise. The manager still continue to say I just can't believe your bikini line is unwaxed. I said, ma'am if you would like me to take pictures and email them to you then I will. I told the manager I have had a better wax paying my nail salon much less than I did there for what I paid. I stated that I'm not lying and am willing to send in photos since it's obvious she doesn't believe me. This isn't something that I would complain about for some stray hairs after a wax, but when your whole bikini line is completely unwaxed, there's a problem. I stated I wanted a refund because I wasn't coming back, she said okay, I will give you a refund of $7 when I paid $49 plus a $15 tip. I told the manager to keep the $7 I am making others aware I understand I should have checked areas being waxed before leaving, but was uncomfortable because the person waxing stayed in room with me after finished while I got dressed. I had underarms, lower legs, and full Brazilian done for the first time with Jamarie. She was really sweet and was detailed in explaining the process, and going at your pace. She made sure to pluck every hair missed, and very reassuring for a first timer. I will be back to do it again. The wax itself did not irritate my sensitive skin, Jamarie informed me about aftercare. The pot of wax was my own, I did note she only used one wooden stick to spread the wax. Make of that what you will, but I highly recommend coming here! read more

For a brazilian wax, you do not want to go cheap. That's not an area you want to mess around with. I thought for $45 I was going to get a decent treatment. I've experienced better at a cheaper rate, but because I moved to the west, I can no longer go to Spa Bar by UCF. The staff was all very nice, but even if no one talked to me, i'd expect the service I paid for. I went in, the tech lathered me in baby powder and started stripping away. She did not advise me to clean my parts or gave any consultation before the wax...I mean, you're dealing with body areas where people release body fluids from, you need to make sure everything is sanitized to the MAX. She was very cautious about my pain tolerance and was very nice. She kinda seemed hesitant to touch me though (understandable, it's not the funnest job to do). She did not cool the wax upon the first applications when I advised her that it was too hot. When I felt the wax passing through the middle of "my area" I became really disappointed. It was touching all of my inner parts and I was just getting ready for the pain. She did not hold/pull back my skin or anything. Usually, when getting in the inner skins, techs will hold back the skin while the wax hardens so that the way your inner-middle parts stay wax free or they are extremely careful. The skin next to my inner parts where you have to pull back still was left with hair. I was left some hairs in the obvious front areas and was left with wax residue. I had to stop throughout the day to pluck wax that was stuck and making me uncomfortable. She rubbed aloe on top and called it done. At Least getting waxed at the asian nail salons will clean off the wax (PSA: Do not ever go to an asian nail salon for a brazilian. Maybe bikini, but brazilians are more delicate, you want to go to a professional wax center/spa). Some Advice: -The table....bring out the table when dealing with waxing down there...I could not butterfly my legs because the wall was in the way. It's not that big of a bench. The bench (under the sanitary paper) was torn up and wrapped in a clear protector. Not the most glamorous thing to lay on for a spa....I kinda felt like I was at a cheap doctors clinic. -You can't offer this service and have a shy tech. It's a wax, your clients are expected to be touched in those area's to get the job done. Don't make it more awkward, clients usually come in mentally prepared. -Sanitation: Touching me, then grabbing the baby powder, rubbing it on and grabbing for it again...that container has now has my germs on it. If that's normal procedure, you can't go grabbing it, apply it and then rubbing it on someone else with the same hand you held the bottle. No double dipping so that's good! All materials were fresh. -Post-wax....I was lathered in aloe after wards. Not to mention it was mixed with baby powder and wax residue that was left over...I was really craving a bath but I had to go back to work. Offer your clients a clean up and some bump or moisturizing cream. I've paid for $30 brazilians at Spa's were afterwards they clean up the leftover wax, pluck whatever is left, use a sanitation wipe/liquid and rub anti-bump cream. I saw you even sell some at the store! Doesn't hurt to rub 1oz on complementary or offer it as an upgrade. If you offer these things, you're returning client rate will go up! It's the after-experience that is really important after all the pain. THIS IS A SPA. All this went through my mind during my experience, I felt like I left more stressed after my treatment. I hope to come back if the ratings go up, everyone is very nice. This is probably my longest review ever...but i'm very passionate about my health. Very unsatisfied. I noticed she only used 1 stick for my whole wax. When I asked about that she told me that that pot of wax was for me only and would get tossed out after. Even if it was, it's not sanitary to just use 1 stick and double dip. Who knows who got waxed before me and if they had anything contagious like herpes. Also, the wax was too hot and when I mentioned it she seemed annoyed by it. Following the wax she tweezed to get the sparse hairs leftover and it felt like she was tweezing my skin. I also didn't get any aftercare put on. So I left with a vagina that felt sunburned and I started itching afterwards. Not a good experience overall, probably the worst Brazilian I ever had. The staff is very personable and work quickly/efficiently. I had a Brazilian wax done at Nature Wax. I bought a Groupon for my service, and booked my appointment on their webpage and possible this is where the big problem occurred. They sent me an email confirming my appointment the day before. While driving there, I was having a hard time finding the salon, so I called the number on the confirmation email and left a voicemail. Then I got a phone call telling me the salon was at a different address and my appointment had been canceled. It turned out there was a conflict between a former partner and the current owner. Then the owner called me and asked if I was still going for my appointment. They wasted a lot of my time but I finally got there 1-1/2 hour after my scheduled appointment. The next day, the former partner called me and wanted me to call the owner and tell her (lie) she wasn't trying to cancel my appointment and get me to go to her shop. Of course I didn't call....the nerve! As for the service, it was okay, but there were some hairs left behind that should have been removed. The lady came in and didn't even introduce herself and kept reapplying so much wax to me that I felt was so unnecessary!! I scheduled a 40 min slot for an eyebrow wax, upper lip and chin wax and barely got 15 min. She began rushing and now my eyebrows are completely uneven. I also specifically requested no after lotion because I break out. She added the after oil/ lotion. So now I have very uneven brows and I zits all over my face. The first person I had just looked like she didn't care too much and when I told her the wax was too hot she said it's supposed to be but it won't burn you. Really?! The second person I had was very thorough (only reason for 2 stars) but I saw her double dip into the wax and in my opinion that's just not sanitary. Especially when getting intimate areas waxed. The location is very nice and relaxing on the inside. The receptionist who helped me was very welcoming and was able to set me up an appointment shortly after. Tomorrow is my birthday so I decided to do a BIKINI wax for the first time ever. The lady who greeted me to the room was good with conversation but I don't think she understood anything that I was telling her. And there was no language barrier, I told her it was my first time doing anything and I was completely unaware of what to do and how to do things for the set up. I guess she didn't hear me when I had told her that but she assumed I knew what I should've been doing. Before I even sat down, I explained to her thoroughly that I wanted a bikini wax not a Brazilian because I do not feel comfortable fully waxed down there. I even showed her a diagram on how I would like it. I assume she was so caught up in her own conversation that she did not give me anything close to what I had asked her for. This resulted in her having to give me a full Brazilian that I was extremely embarrassed and unsatisfied about. I understand that this may be a job for her but my Yoni appearance is very important to me and my confidence. The fact that she fully waxed me when I didn't want it and still left stubs of hair behind without plucking, which now I have to do myself left me so disappointed. When I left the salon I noticed that she was talking about me to the receptionist, which is very unprofessional being the fact that she's the one who messed up in the first place. read more
