I started coming here when the service started going downhill at the old salon I used to go to and now I will make the 15 min drive to here rather than go to several other nail salons that are much closer to me. The nail technicians and the owner have always been really nice to me and I've received good service every time. When it comes to getting my nails done, I honestly just want to be in and out as quickly as possible. The salon doesn't have much of an ambiance but it is clean, which to me is more important when it comes to a nail salon! They have a lot of colors and different nail applications. For a while I used to do gel polish all the time and they have a huge library of colors including color-changing gel polish which I always received compliments on. However, I didn't like how gel polish would chip easily and eventually peel. I've since changed to dip-power and am in love! This place has a lot of dip powder colors to choose from and takes about the same time as getting a gel polish/manicure. read more

I love that this place is open on Sundays. I love that the staff is super friendly and great. I love how my nails look when I leave. So why three stars? I don't know what it is, but the nail polish will not stay on me. I've gotten shellac here three times, and all three times, it starts peeling in two weeks. This most recent time, it didn't last a week and a half. I've gotten shellac many times before at many different places, and this has never been a problem. I thought it was just the shellac, but I've also gotten regular polish--and the exact same brand I've gotten at other salons--and it's also coming off way sooner than usual. I've never had polish on my toes come off before, but both times I've gotten pedicures here, the polish doesn't last. I wish I knew what it was! I've had different nail techs, I've tried different brands. I'm flummoxed. I'll probably keep going, but I may start bringing in my own polish. read more

I've always loved KT nail until my last visit. my manicure did not even last 24 hours there was no lotion or massage with that my pedicure was about 20 minutes long and I spent over $50 at the place and I am just a little disappointed. I work in a salon myself and most manicures last at least 5 to 7 days with regular polish I called to discuss this issue with someone and the lady on the phone was very blunt that they will never guaranteed a manicure and they will not redo it for me that's such a shame because this place is very affordable and clean and most of the time the customer service is great I don't know if I'll be going back. so now I'm looking for another place to go get a manicure before an important event tomorrow such a shame and waste of money. read more

I've never been particularly impressed with KT Nails (lacks cleanliness, techs rush through services), but they were open on Sundays, so we continued to go there out of necessity. Most recently, I brought my daughter and a friend for pedicures (so that I could get take time in my very busy schedule to get my own pedicure and shellac manicure). KT has never had a great selection of polish. Most places have OPI shellac with matching OPI regular color (so you don't have to do shellac on your toes). KT has about 8 OPI shellac colors - so I picked the one that I could live with. I brought it with me to the chair and at the end of my pedicure, the tech was unable to find the same color in the regular OPI selection. If I wanted matching hands and feet, I needed to find another color. There were no other OPI colors, so I tried to find one of their off brand shellac colors (which you have to select from plastic nails). Again, I found one I could live with and we went back to the table. When she opened the bottle, the color was about 3 shades brighter and very pink (not subtle like the sample). It wasn't a professional color for work, so I had to go back to the limited wall of colors. The lady in charge explained that sometimes the samples fade so the colors are not the same. I finally gave up. I told the tech to simply apply the base clear shellac on my fingers and forget about the toes. This was an hour an a half later - I didn't have another 45 minutes to devote to my nails with two 13 year old girls waiting. To top off my disappointment, I was charged $40.00 for my deluxe pedicure (even though I left without toe color - not even base), and $25.00 for a manicure, which again had no color and was not a manicure (I'd call it a paint change, except I never really got a new color). The woman who seems to be in charge, tried to defend the cost, stating that they have other colors... I indicated that if that's how they were going to handle it, I'd pay it, but I wouldn't be back. The tech politely apologized (it wasn't her fault that the colors are not kept up and that the management doesn't know how to take care of clientele), but sadly, the person in charge did not appear to care one way or another. I now have to go to another salon this week so that I can have my nails (fingers and toes) painted professionally. I'd say you get what you pay for, but I didn't even get what I paid for... read more

Been there twice and had poor service both times. The first time I went with a friend to get our nails filled. We were the only two in the place and they sat us nowhere near eachother. They were pushy, in a hurry, and rushed us out the door. The second time I tried going here I was wanting to take my nails off. I waited for 15 minutes before even being spoken to. Then when I was finally greeted, all she says is itll be a while. I eventually just walked out. read more

This place is a nickel and dime you shop. They charge for literally everything from removing polish to just waving a magnet over your polish. Yes you read that right. They don't tell you the prices up front and at the end you're handing over your first born. So I mean... bring the kid you don't like.... read more

Consistently inconsistent. Not sure I will be going back unless I need a dip on Sunday. First visit: Mani with dip cost $45. No lotion application or anything. Second visit: just got a dip (no Mani). Another patron was getting a paraffin wax treatment and I asked how much that cost. "$5 without a mani, included in a mani" When they learned I didn't get one the first visit, they gave me one at no cost. Third visit: dip with Mani is what I asked for and wrote on the sign in. After my dip was soaked off, the nail tech was going to do another dip without mani. Seemed put out that I wanted a mani. $48. Lotion application, but this time I was told paraffin treatment was not included in the mani price. Not impressed. read more

We will never go back......our regular polish manicures and pedicures lasted less than 24 hours. We made appointments for a bridal party...were told they could get us all in at a given time. However, one of our party had to wait an hour for service and the rest were already finished. Workers were roaming around, going in and out, but not starting our last party member. I asked the owner and he argued with me and offered no apology or compensation. He said some of the workers could not start because they had other appointments coming in 15 minutes....but we had an appointment 45 minutes before the others! It made no sense at all. Combination of bad service and not well done polish.....that's it. Don't go. read more

I went on the recommendation of a friend. It was definitely a good experience. The salon is low key which is soothing. The health care protocols were very good. The technician was personable and let me read my book. The chatter among adjacent technicians was low key. I am happy to say that I left feeling reassured that the salon is NOT one of these mills that exploit technicians. The owner clearly knew I was there and was very personable. read more

First things first. I've been coming here for years. It's never an incredible experience but it usually doesn't suck either. Just something that relatively cheap for me. I saw that they had a 20% off coupon available to use if you check in to their business and use it within three hours. It was all through yelp at the very top of the business' page. I get through almost two hours of services and present the coupon when it's time to pay. I should've seen this coming but they of course had no idea what it was. Are you kidding me? I used to be an operating room nurse, so the first thing I look for is cleanliness. After watching the horror stores on the news about nail salons I am very cautious. This place is immaculate. They do a great manicure and my polish stayed on for three weeks just as they told me it would. They are as personable or not as you want to be. You need to like kids; however, as there are a couple of toddlers running around. I have not had a pedicuire, but I wouldn't be apprehensive about have one done as they are very professional.
