Ktown tattoos located in Kaneohe has been the only tattoo shop that I've gotten my tattoos by far. I don't have many tattoos myself but the first time that I've been to k town tattoos was when i was 18 and got my back tattoo, i enjoyed the staff and service and the quality of the artwork. My brother and i got cute sibling tattoos as a gift for his birthday. The lobby is clean and tidy along with a place to sit down and take in the A/C while you enjoy looking into the books of Shenskees' work and the many works posted on their walls. Before proceeding with the tattoos, you'll need to fill out an electronic consent form. The process only took less than 5 minutes to do too so i like how efficient it went! Our tattoo artists, Shen and Brad were great and they were very professional, transparent, and communicative from what our tattoos would like in different sizes, and they gave recommendations on the patterns of the tattoos. My brother and i did our tattoos at the same time and it didn't take long. I'd say we sat about an hour-ish. And WE LOVE IT!!! They take cash and/or card. I paid in cash to avoid a $3-4 card fee. Everything went smooth and they gave us a print of an aftercare plan. Parking is limited in the compound but there's always street parking available too! Chose this place on Friday the 13th to check out the deals. It was $75 for palm size tattoos and $175 for hand size, however, you aren't getting palm or hand size tattoos for that price. It is much smaller, I paid $175 for a palm size and my hands are pretty small. I'm happy how the tattoo came out but feel like their advertising sale is a bit misleading. However, my tattoo artist was cool and did a good job. I would visit again, maybe. read more

Shen is amazing! I've been wanting to get my back piece done for over 5 years. I wasn't able to find an artist that I liked enough to do it. I had been searching for somebody to do a full sleeve tattoo for about a year before I discovered Shenskee on instagram. As soon as I saw her work I knew I didn't want anybody else doing it. After setting up the appointment she talked with me through the whole process of what I was looking to do. Most importantly she made sure I was updated on any changes. When the day finally came, I walked in an was immediately met with a friendly atmosphere where everyone had the aloha spirit. The sleeve itself took 3 sessions to complete but I was amazed at how detailed it was. It was better than I had imagined it would be. Inquired about services. They were very quick to respond and super easy to set up for an appointment. The shop was very open and it wasn't hot, Tattoo went well. I didn't get a tattoo here but would recommend this place anyways for a tattoo because the shop is really cleaned and organized!!! HOWEVER, what I did go there for was to get my lashes done (lash extensions) and ombré brows by Tiani!!! I love my brows! Wake up done every morning lol no need to stress with make up!! Her prices are reasonable and not over priced like others!! I live in Waianae and drive all the way out here to come to her regularly, so that's gotta say something!! I came in a couple days ago after calling and asking if they had availability that afternoon. I had expected to have to wait but was taken in right away, which was awesome. My artist Will, was great. He provided great conversation and and a welcoming attitude which is great when you walk into a new shop for the first time. My piece looks great, he took my idea and brought it to life and wasnt a jerk when I pointed out areas I wanted him to go back over. The only thing I'd suggest is that he should have told me before we started that payment was cash only. Luckily I had intended to pay cash, so I was prepared, but he didnt mention it until it was time to pay which could have been really awkward had I not had cash on me. came in for a nose piercing and double helix piercing from Jericka. we were quoted $90 for the entire service. piercer said she was doing a BOGO 50% off sale and gave it to us as an apology for having us go back and forth to the wrong location, & that her staff who scheduled us for our 4:30 appt wasn't aware that she offered piercings, which had us going back & forth. once we finished almost an hour and a half later, i gave her $100, & when asked if i wanted my change back & responding yes, she quoted us $150. i told the piercer that she had literally quoted us $90 for the 2 piercings, & that not tipping her added another $60 on to our total???? im confused on why she asked if we wanted our change if the total was $150 and i had only given her $100. this was the worst customer service and atmosphere i've experienced. personally would never come here again or recommend anyone come here, at least for piercings. read more

It went from a very plain black tatoo to this most incredible tatoo with water color theme. My brother has been trying to get a tattoo for so long and every time we have tried to set up an appointment previously they have said they will call us back by the end of the day and never hear back. When we finally got an appointment, my brother texted an hour before to let them know he was in the area and that he could come in earlier if need be and the tattoo artist said "the tattoo is too difficult and that he could no longer do it but that hed pass the design to another artist to have them call us" (it was a skeleton and grim reaper) an hour after we got home we got a call saying they could take him so we drove back out and sat for an hour while he drew up the design and when my brother said he didnt wanted a few things different- because the artist added things he didnt want or ask for- the artist told him that it would look bad and that he needs to make an appointment. Terrible experience and wont be going back. read more

This was my first tattoo but my spouse has many he has gotten from artists all over the country. It has taken me years to settle on something I would be willing to have on my body forever. I had two images that I wanted combined and Josh and the other artists perfectly understood what I was looking for. They gave me great advice on size and explained why going too small would result in the tattoo not aging well. It was mostly black with just a pop of color on the eyes and the way Josh did it with multiple colors and shading is stunning. I know I will be receiving many compliments and can proudly share where I got my tattoo. Despite being incredibly busy K Town worked us in on the day we needed to have. My husband loved his tattoo from Steve as well and we both enjoyed the entire experience. This was something we did together to commemorate our 30th wedding anniversary. We could not be more pleased with our choice of location and artists. read more
