During installation, they routinely left sharp metal nails scattered across the property that our tenants had to magnetically sweep themselves, repeatedly left gates open resulting in our pets escaping, and damaged our dividing fence to the point of collapse. After installation, we discovered a siding nail puncturing the kitchen plumbing, wrapped in black duct tape. We only discovered this deliberate cover-up long after the payment when opening the interior drywall for an unrelated renovation. Active dryer exhaust vents were completely covered with fiber cement siding and some exhaust vent covers were heavily painted over that they are stuck shut; they all have been venting inside our wall cavities for months. JP Exteriors fraudulently triggered GreenSky loan disbursement while actively concealing life-safety hazards and severe IRC Chapter 7 building code violations behind our newly installed James Hardie siding. After numerous failed attempts to resolve our complaints directly with our project manager Gabe, we had to involve an independent inspector and the James Hardie Alliance Department. The 42-page certified inspection report indeed confirmed systemic installation failures and active concealment. James Hardie Alliance Department confirmed that JP Exteriors' installation violated their Elite Preferred contract guidelines. James Hardie Warranty Department offered to provide free replacement materials so that JP Exteriors could execute a proper rework and makes things right. Despite having the materials covered, Vice President Allan Raykhelson refused to cure the life-safety defects and allowed their strict statutory Texas Property Code Chapter 27 (RCLA) settlement deadline to expire on June 25, 2026, legally abandoning the project. Do not trust this company with your home or your safety.

FRAUD, SCAM, FRAUD, SCAM i contacted Austin Cowboy stucco, a…read morecompany i found on google with 5/5 on 20 reviews with a prestigious address downtown Austin and an impressive facebook portfolio and website. The phone listed asked me to dial 1 then redirected me to a voicemail. i did not leave a message. 7 minutes later, Lee Jimenez, the contractor called back and introduced himself as Austin Cowboy Stucco. Lee came across as experienced, kind, polite and respectful you'd be shocked to realize all this is a front for a professional scammer. Naively, i signed an estimate, not even a contract, with this stucco contractor for $52800. the contractor Lee Jimenez started to push for a 50% payment to buy supplies. i paid him $25,200. Once he got the money, he started to not be prompt at answering phone texts. he was supposed to give me invoices for materials ordered, agree and commit to a warrantee vervatum in a contract , and he was supposed to give me a bid for stone work. He never did. After a series of lies, i started to be suspicious. I was confused when I noticed that the company name on the estimate was Lone Star Construction Services and Lone Star Stucco and Stone with no mention of Austin Cowboy Stucco . i looked up Lone Star company reviews on google, Houzz, BBB and other sites, they were poor across the board, with several reports indicating a pattern of walking away with customers money, doing minimal or no work and then not responding to all communications. i visited the location of Austin Cowboy Stucco who i originally called. it was a residential building with a fake suite number 111 that never existed in that building. I realized it was a Fake company with fake address and fake reviews and a phone number that connects you to Lee at Lone Star Construction Services. I realized Lee used the shell company name Austin Cowboy Stucco to bypass his poor reviews which expose his fraudulent behaviors, and to collect customers money through deceit. All this happened within less than 2 weeks of our initial meeting. I texted him to cancel the order and pay me back. He stated he himself was not interested in doing the job. he was surprised the bad reviews were not taken down as it was 8 years ago, but actually most reviews are much more recent than that one review on Houzz which indicates this behavior goes back at least a decade. Obviously he manipulates the platforms reviews to his favor. He never returned my money. He never produced invoice evidence that he purchased any materials. Again, as reported in other reviews he is unresponsive to communication. I was a lucrative fraud victim of this criminal. I will keep you posted of the law suit coming his way.

I admired the fact the owner takes pride of his work and granted I am as happy as can be. He did go way and beyond I am planning to have them back again in the future for more work. Easy to work with and will listen to what you want and how you prefer the job done. Never have I seen a color match we have had our house worked on before but didn't turn out the way I wanted. You have to see for yourselves. I cannot imagine my house looking this perfect and matching as though it looks like new. After all the mold and discoloration of my house exterior was looking worse untill I hired this talented group . Yes I will hire in a heart beat.

She is always pleasant (I don't take customer service for granted), looks out for her team and her customers. My cleaning team is fantastic. My family thinks that its me adding the fancy flourishes to the paper towels and toilet paper. ;-)

Review for painting side:…read more We recently had our entire downstairs painted by the Guevara team, and it was quite a struggle to get the job done and left us with additional work after the fact. Summary: Ever and his wife (Ever does the painting and the wife does the cleaning side of the company) are very nice and personable people. They really tried to finish the job strong, but there was just so much prep work that didn't happen in the beginning - which left many areas still needing work. Details: There was little to no attention to details throughout the project; from sanding, filling holes, taking old hardware off in various places, taking down light fixtures, ect. After moving in, we have found more and more areas where corners were cut, and simple prep work was not done. This has left these areas still uncompleted, despite the 9k we paid to get the job done. Additionally, while I should have asked more questions, I felt the contract was misleading with exactly what was going to get done, which led to an additional 4k scope creep at the end of the job (the doors were not going to be painted, as well as half of my laundry room). Which is a big deal! Below are some areas that were simple to do correctly, but not addressed: - Painting over screws in the wall - Neglecting to remove light fixtures - Not filling in holes as needed - Unpainted areas/Not painting all the trim - Getting significant amount of overspray on our brand new 13k wood floors - Leaving previous caulking around various areas and painting over it I also struggled to keep trash picked up out of our yard while their crew was working on our home. There were constantly whataburger bags, coke cans, and to-go containers left all around our front yard, leaving even more work for us. While it looks good from afar, there are spots that still need work in every single room. This is not only frustrating, it has left us feeling like we overpaid, and with buyers remorse. If we hadn't been under such a time crunch, we would have switched contractors mid project.
