On change that had me going here more often than I had before are the prices, where before it wouldn't be uncommon to see strawberries at 9$ a pint or mayonnaise at 12$ now i really fee like they are more reasonable with close to a 33% reduction in price of both and other items that seemed unnecessarily bloated. They no longer have sushi which drives my daughter crazy but their soup is so much better now and honestly I could get it once a week at least with how good it is compared to before it kind of tasted like an after thought of left overs about to go bad.

I don't know what some of these reviews are complaining about, the store is so welcoming, comfy, plenty of areas to eat. There are board games, puzzles, and checkers. Seating inside and out, sandwiches and house made food for sale which honestly looked reallllll good but I was unfortunately not hungry. The cookies are incredible. We got a chocolate chip and then the toffee one which was mmmmmm good. Plenty of parking, really friendly staff. Oh we also got some blueberry bread that was yummmmy! Looking for a few souvenir gifts, we stopped in for the gift shop. I would have liked to check it out, but my teenage sons were ready to leave after visiting the gift shop. The gift shop was clearly marked with an arrow to go up the stairs. There were so many cool things, we circled the shop several times and kept finding new items we didn't see previously. Wind chimes, incense, mugs, toys, clothes, kitchen gadgets, paintings, candles, etc. It really had something for everyone. The cashier was very nice and offered assistance while also allowing us privacy to shop without feeling like we were being watched. My only suggestion would be for more souvenir items specific to VT. There were a few but not many. I was able to find some silly things - a VT tic tac toe board and a small map of VT puzzle.
