I wish I can give this less then one star, this place is always short staff, the employees there don't care and show no compassion or support for the customers, they hire a bunch of old cranky overweight women who don't know what customer service is suppose to be, all they care about is going there and getting paid more then anything to my opinion, there's better Walmarts in New England compare to this one, screw this place read more

This afternoon I stopped in at the Walmart Supercenter in Hinsdale to buy some items for home and was surprisingly pleased with my experience. The store is massive, and they have a great selection of food items as well as home necessities. I was happy to see that this location had a wide variety of meats unlike some other Supercenters and I was also pleased to see the amount of sugar free items they have in the store as well. A plus for this Walmart is that it has a great selection of beer and wine as well. They also have a huge clearance section which is fun to pass through. The staff members at this location were polite, but the only issue was that they didn't have enough registers open, and waiting to check out was a pain. The other great aspect of this location is that is also houses a Dunkin Donuts. It was nice to grab a coffee before shopping! read more

Bought tires there a week and a half ago at this Walmart asked for a day to have them mounted and they said probably next weekend on Saturday. I had my girlfriend call on Friday and they said her name was on the list and to go down there on Saturday, no time no nothing. I had an appointment to have 2 new tires put on today at 5 pm. I arrived at 4:45 pm only for the tire center to be closed. Called into the store and spoke with 3 different employees (one was a manager) and was told the tire center closes at 5- and that I should have been contacted to reschedule the appointment. They also gave the excuse that they had 3 callouts today which is why they closed early. Not my problem. I worked a 10 hour day and then drove 45 minutes to this appointment. The thing is, if someone had just checked the appointments and called me earlier in the day I would not have been upset or cared and would have been fine with rescheduling. I am a full time MBA student and work 50 hours a week on top of it. My time is limited and valuable and it was insane how little this manager cares about customers. They told me to come back tomorrow/call tomorrow and no resolution was offered. I want my time and gas compensated. I have already left a review with the BBB and after I post this review I will continue on to review this Walmart everywhere possible. I will not be returning to this Walmart (or any Walmart most likely) in the future. Will gladly take my business elsewhere. read more

Made an order Tuesday night for a Wednesday night pickup. Arrived on time ... and have now been waiting 2 1/2 hours, watching other orders filled. Zero management being done here, and little chance of more of my money being spent here. One star because there are no zeros. read more

Far better than the Walmart in Keene, NH. But they don't have much of a variety when it comes to hummus. Actually, they have only two brands you can pick from. Only one of them being a popular brand. Also, I found staff to be somewhat helpful. Although I saw employees that were just hiding in isles it seemed, texting in their phones. And two that were just walking the perimeter of the store with another employee just goofing off and talking, not helping customers, not doing any roles of their job. I happened to walk up to one of these employees and asked if they had a certain product, the response I got was "uhhhhh I don't know". COOL. Great you seem to know the products you sell at your store. After that, the guy didn't even help me to look for it or anything further. He just went back talking to the other guy. read more

I'd like to say that Hinsdale has needed a Walmart for a long time, but they got one back in the 90's across from Norm's Marina at the base of the mountain. It's a shame that the previous location can't be utilized for something else. Anyway, I digress ... this "new" location is conveniently located in the "middle" of Hinsdale on 119 and has ample parking for your Supercenter shopping needs. A Dunkin Donuts just inside will help caffeinate you while you walk the endless aisles of stuff, from groceries to tires. I've been in here several times, and they always seem to have what I need, although I did go in for a fishing license one day and apparently only one person knew how to do it, so I ended up going home and doing it online rather than wait in line for her. The store itself is very clean and well organized, as it should be for a newer model Supercenter. read more

Best Walmart in the country and no sales tax. Every Designer should get here. They have everything and the price are terrific. Don't miss the Clearance section. Lora, Jordon and Logan are three employees that you should meet they helped me with everything and were experts! I had two huge carts full and plan to ship some of the items to the West Coast since the Walmarts don't have as good of a section! Worth the trip here! read more

This store is not user friendly. Due to our vulnerability, my husband and I cannot go shopping now. I cannot get dry goods delivered to this store - have to drive 50 miles one way to Bennington, VT - over 3 mountains or the same mileage to Massachusetts. I cannot get them delivered to my home in Vernon, VT either. Thanks for no customer service at this critical time. In our rural area, we don't have many choices and Walmart in Hinsdale, NH and Keene, NH are failing us. read more

Im very displeased with the cashier that checked my son out hes 12 years old and paid for his items with his own money the receipt says his total was 26.88 yet the cashier lady told him it was $32.00 and kept his $6.00 this may seem like nothing for most people but for a kid who saves all his money he earns its very frustrating when an adult is dishonest and keeps the money!! Love having a bigger Walmart in the area but they still have a problem trying to keep it from being so trashy. I was happy with Hinsdale Walmart when they first opened but over time dealing with poor customer service and less then cordial attitudes i'm not very happy with it anymore in fact after this afternoon when leaving Walmart we had somebody scanning our sales slip and items we just purchased as we were leaving. Way too go treat your customers Walmart just like thieves!!!. If this is how Walmart feels about their customers then I think our money is better spent at target. Don't get tire service here. The rest of the store is pretty good but the tire center is horrible. I realized when I got home that I had an extra $50 worth of services on my bill that shouldn't have been charged in there read more

We just stopped here for an emergency tire repair, and when it turned out that they didn't have our size (which was our fault), they called a nearby place to find out if they had it, then made sure we knew how to get there, even though there was nothing in it for them. read more

It seems like every time I go in the store (which is twice a week) to get water refills and dog food there is never anyone around to help me lift 50lb bags of dog food I have to walk half the store to find an associate to have them call someone for that area then wait!!!! Only once did a guy say "I'll help you with that" which was really nice but I still had to go walk about to find someone! Then I get to the cash yourself out and every single time (and if the lady paid attention she would notice it's the same dam lady that comes in twice a week ugghh) she says "I can show you how to enter those quicker" and comes over and gets in front of me and says "how many waters" and I'm like 30 and she types and I say these are refills by the way and she turns to look at me and says "All of them?" I said yup all of them just like I do every week why don't you look at them and see that the seals are broken and I'm sure the jugs aren't perfectly clean as much as I try but there for the dogs so... we don't have great we'll water... "she just kinda sneers and says no that's fine" but still looks at me like she doesn't believe me!! I fricken hate going into that store sometimes...if it wasn't a necessity...and that's where they got us!! Happy shopping everyone!! Hope your day is always better!! read more
