If I could leave zero stars I would have. We were referred to this place by my child's orthodontist...It was hands down the worst experience I've had with a medical care provider ever. They were dishonest and disorganized from start to finish. I was charged 900$ for 20 minutes of anesthesia and had to pay up front, only finding out about the charge the night before the procedure. They told me I would be reimbursed by my insurance and I took them at there word only to find out months later and hours worth of phone calls to to insurance companies that we would only be reimbursed a 30%. They didn't know if they were going to pull all of the wisdom teeth or only 2 of them until minutes before the procedure. Completely disorganized office from top to bottom. It took months to sort out my bill and the clinic manager didn't seem to care the slightest... Wasted hours and hours on the phone listening to bunch of nonsense from them and the awful anesthesiologist company they contract out with. I should have walked out the door the day of the procedure but like most of us I assume that medical care providers have our best interest at heart and are honest....Stay as far away from this place as possible. If your dentist refers you ask for a different referral, I wish I had. read more

This place is amazing my kids do absolutely great all the staff is so nice and very accommodating. They an any questions that you may have and makes it a great environment for kids! I highly recommend this place for your kiddos! read more

Some of the staff is great but the higher majority of the staff are terrible , terrible patient service no bedside manner no patience with children and do not communicate clearly. This office also performed panoramic x-rays on all three of my children with no necessity simply to collect the insurance money. When my daughter needed her wisdom teeth out we were informed that our insurance only covers a panoramic x-ray / imaging Every three years so she had to wait 3 months because we couldn't afford the imaging And had to wait for the insurance to cover it. Upon realizing that they were performing these x-rays I was told there was no real explanation for it and they were not needed and they not sure why they were performed in the first place and they did this on all three of my children. Most of the time when we go in the receptionists are rude , in personable, unprofessional and gossip about each other behind the counter the entire time you're in the waiting room. read more

This place is an absolute scam. Condescending office staff, mixed with malpractice? Raised a concern a few months ago about a tooth on my 4 year old daughter, was told there is no concern and doesn't even need to be watched carefully, and that all teeth were in good standing. Fast forward three months and she now has to have ROOT CANAL on the very tooth we raised a concern about. Cavities do not magically progress in three months to the severity of a root canal. We were not given any sort of treatment plan and were told "since she is on state medical we do not provide a treatment plan" now she is in "need" of 4 fillings and a root canal. Which was never communicated to us until we requested her dental records so we could change dentist offices. Which they REFUSED to release which is illegal. If you are a parent whose child is on state medical I HIGHLY recommend traveling elsewhere, as this place is just after a quick paycheck and taking advantage of their patients. TOTAL JOKE read more

They get paid a very small amount for cleanings so they push other things like fillings, pulling teeth, crowns. We experienced this with our 4 kids and would NEVER allow our kids back there nor would we EVER recommend this place to people we cared about. They push things on you and try guilting you into doing something. We went across the building to Dr Carroll...wow. Now she's amazing! But please, for the love of your kids, don't go here. Do research and learn the 'why' behind what they are doing and saying. Be informed before just agreeing to what they say should be done. read more

I have been taking my kids here for a few years and the service keeps getting worse. This place is awful. I have never had a dentist speak to me and talk down to me, the office staff is extremely rude. They very rarely let you back in the treatment room with your children even if the child is scared. My girls are terrified of this place due to shaming while being treated. My youngest raised her hand because she could feel pain from drilling while fixing a cavity and the dentist told her it was almost over and she would stop soon... She didn't even try to help my daughter feel more comfortable. I would NEVER recommend this dentist to anyone! If I could rate it zero stars I would! read more

Our family comes from a long history of horrible dentist experiences, so when it came to my son I was very protective. This place is amazing! Yes they don't let you in the back while they are doing the procedures, but I am completely ok with that and I think that kids do a lot better with no parents around. My son had to get a filling done and when I asked him about it he didn't even know it got done. He said he had no pain and didn't even know he got a shot. They come out after and explain everything they have done and ask if you have any questions. They are very quick on getting your child in which is nice. I am very picky when it comes to my dentist and this place exceeds all my expectations. read more

My daughter was terrified of going to the dentist after coming here. She had to have a temporary filling put in and they forced their way through the procedure rather than trying to work with her at all. She now goes to see B. Larson and is doing much better. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!!! First off parents are discouraged from entering the back area during procedures. There is room for parents and every dentist I have taken my daughters to, (I was in the Army for 10 years and it has been quite a few) not only allowed but encouraged the parents to be in attendance throughout the entire process. Second reason, and most important one of all, the use of Nitrous Oxide. This dentist office is the only pediatric dental office that I have seen use Nitrous Oxide in this manner, within the last 10 years. According to the Guidelines on the Use of Nitrous Oxide for Pediatric Dental patients, revised 2013. It states in the background section that Dentists have expertise in providing anxiety and pain control for their patients. At this dentist office, the individual making that decision is a dental hygienist. The guideline goes on to state that while anxiety and pain can be modified by psychological treatment, in many instances pharmacological approaches are required. As I stated before I have been to many dentists, all have allowed the parents to be there during the procedure because it provides the anxiety relief naturally. Think about how scary going to the dentist is, now add going back to an unknown area with a stranger. Of course the child will seem high stressed and anxious, anyone would. The third and final point, the dental hygienist that was preparing my daughter for the procedure, told my daughter to "look and see all the younger children are doing just fine and they are going through the same procedure." Not only was it hurtful to my daughter that she compared her to the other kids but she also lied to her because the other children were not getting the same procedure. The really bad lie goes to the Dental Hygienist who tried to tell my 10 year old daughter that she wasn't going to give her a shot. First of all, aren't Dentists suppose to do that? My daughter isn't stupid, she has had this procedure before, she new you were going to give her the shot. Don't continue to try and lie to her, how is she going to trust you? This dentist offices procedures are out dated and the laughing gas is over used. There are far more effective and less invasive ways to calm a child than drugs, family knows best!! Allow the family member to calm their anxieties instead of this out dated and over used procedure. They get one star for the staff having patience, see you can do it without drugs. read more

Great kids dentist We've been going to this dentist for years - first because they take the state medical cards, and then just because the kids don't mind going there, even though we have different insurance now. No kid will ever want to go to the dentist, but this is a great office -- and since they are pediatric, they are really kid focused, from the arcade game that they can play while waiting for x rays, to the helium balloons, stickers, toothbrushes and floss that they get after the appointments. Staff is polite and attentive and well trained. Large flat screen tv in waiting room with some kind of current kid movie on (although the office tastes are different than mine sometimes), large waiting area with lots of space, and good with all ages. They are very patient with the little ones - especially if they have concerns, and parents can go back with the child if there is a need, but they do really work on having the kids be able to do it by themselves. Tip: Try for a morning appointment, especially during the school year - it can really get busy in the afternoons and they can run late. read more

My eight-year-old step-daughter haaaaaaated going to the dentist. Our family dentist had been exceptionally patient with her, but it just wasn't working. So, we switched to Kulshan Pediatric after he recommended them. She has never had such a positive experience as with Kulshan. She's had several procedures done there (including a space maintainer for a tooth that came out too soon and fillings), and has always come out smiling. I don't know how they do it at all. She's a tough egg to crack, and very emotional to boot. As a parent, the place is annoying as hell - cartoons running in the lobby, crazy kids running around, that special kid funk that you smell at, like, daycare centers, and the front office staff could really use some customer service training (that's why they're getting 4 stars and not 5). But the kids love it, and I couldn't recommend it more, especially if your child has had issues with dentistry. read more

my daughter has a disability...shes been going there for 20 yrs..yesterday..they informed me that they can no longer see her due to her disability. and told me to call the decod clinic down in seattle..cause my daughter has to be put under sedation. well the decod clinic just informed me that my daughter cant go there..cause they don't sedate patients. so dentist at the clinic misinformed me . and the decod clinic also informed the kulshan dentist office that they don't do sedation. and my daughter has to go to a different clinic at the UW school of dentistery .and that waiting list is 1 to 2 yrs. the Kulshan center use to be the best till Dr. Loughlin sold his practice. read more
