This location is bright and clean with a large variety of soft or crispy kunafa, baklava, mint tea, Turkish coffee, and their viral Dubai strawberry cups ($5 promos) are super indulgent! I visited for the first time and Christina was lovely and helpful. I bought five items to try first, and returned with my husband a few days later. Reena was friendly, and we purchased a box of eleven items. Our favorites are the pistachio basbousa, coconut basbousa, and almond lotus, hazelnut Nutella and pistachio baklava. Note: Debit or credit card only, no cash payments.

Fresh and tasty! I only tried the kunafa but they have lots of other pastries. Not too sweet if you ask them to hold off on the syrup.

If you love Middle Eastern sweets, this spot is a must. It's a take out dessert shop specializing in kunafas, baklava, and rich Dubai chocolate. Service is quick when its not busy. There isn't much seating available so this is more of a take out spot. The pastry case is packed with a wide variety of treats such as baklava, pistachio based pastries, and, of course, their signature kunafas. The kunafa is a perfect savory-sweet bite with that warm, cheesy center and crisp topping. The Dubai chocolate is another standout, loaded with pistachios and decadent chocolate that's hard to stop eating. Everything I've tried here has been top-notch. If you're into Middle Eastern pastries or just have a serious sweet tooth, this place will not disappoint.

The service was good, they were patient and informed me of the various flavors. My favorite is the baklava Nutella circles!!! The traditional Baklava is great as well, however the Ferrero Rocher was really good. These are also great gifts! I had the strawberry cups with my daughter, they were decedent!!! We couldn't finish it.

Some sort of shells found in the pistachio chocolate bar :(

Updated review ! After trying the competitor Kunfa King , I'm docking a star as both places can't be four stars when one is clearly better . Plus the most recent pistachio chocolate bar we brought .. there were some sort of shells in the filling. Initially I thought it was egg shells but they were too hard and almost broke my teeth so I came to the conclusion there were pistachios shells left in the filling by accident :/

As an avid cheese enthusiast, I knew I had to come and try the famous Kunafa! This place was pretty busy when we stopped by, and many of the trays were half empty! Even so, they have a great selection of treats for you to try. Staff was quite friendly as well! For the Kunafa, I think they may have forgotten to add the sugar syrup on ours (we got the first piece of a fresh batch), so it mostly just tasted like wet flavourless cheese, which was super disappointing because I was so hyped for it. Definitely willing to give it another go sometime though! We ended up sampling some baklava as well, specifically their pistachio, nutella, and biscoff baklava. These were absolutely heaven. The light flaky texture along with the gooeyness of the sugar syrup is so good, and the flavours were to die for. Big fan of the baklava, not too sure about the kunafa but I'm optimistic that it was just because of the missing syrup. Otherwise, I'm glad that I stopped by!

Trying the Viral Dubai Pistachio Strawberry Chocolate Cup This dessert has been all over social media, so I had to see what the hype was about! The crunchy kunafa paired with the rich pistachio cream was a unique combo, but the strawberries didn't quite hit the mark for me. Texture-wise, it was interesting, and I can see why people love it--but was it mind-blowing? Not for me. Still, if you're a dessert lover, it's worth a try! Personally, I'm still obsessed with their Dark Chocolate Kunafa Bar--so good! Have you tried this yet? Fairly big dessert store in Ajax. One long table is the only seating. Sheena and Shahed were very friendly and helpful. If you tell them a fact about Palestine you get a free mini dessert (I got pistachio and it was delicious!). We also got a bunch of other desserts and the Dubai chocolate. Everything we had was well proportioned, flavors were harmonious. Sometimes treats like these are overly doused in syrup but this was not the case for the desserts that we had. The Dubai chocolate wasn't overly sweet either. If you enjoy pistachio cream, you're going to love this chocolate as the pistachio flavor was the star. Yes we will be coming back and have already recommended them to friends and coworkers.

Small bakery specializing in Knafeh (Arabic: كنافة) is a traditional Arab dessert made with spun pastry dough layered with cheese and soaked in a sweet, sugar-based syrup called attar. There is the classic as well non crunchy semolina version on offer. There is also a number of other dessert options like baklava that comes with varieties like Nutella and speculose . The place is not big enough to linger. There is bar stool seating in the front but that's about it . Mostly take out business here

Friendly staff provided me with good detail about their dessert and drink. Their Crispy Kishan was beautifully made. It's best to dine in rather than take out for good crispiness. It's just fantastic. In my opinion, this item is even better than the famous walnut, cashew, and pistachio baklavas. The Turkish coffee is kind of okay. Good coffee crema on top but drinking with coffee ground in the cup is new to me. It's just personal preference and I am sure lots of people will like it. All in all, it's a nice place for great middle eastern desserts/ pastries. Recommended!

Wow, amazing Palestinian sweets! Sarah was super helpful in describing everything to us and helping us choose. Can't wait to come back and try all the yummy goodness here!

First time I went into and Kunafa's, it was so overwhelming. I have a massive sweet tooth, and with all the options, I didn't know what to pick. The menu screen had item names but I couldnt pair them to the items that I was looking at. So I got one of each, and it was the best idea! Everything was delicious, some items sweeter than others, depending on what's in it. The assortment varies and new items/flavours are created all the time! I was talking with another patron who recommended their coffee. I don't drink coffee, but he spoke very highly of it. My favourite is the crispy kunafa, and I highly recommend eating it in while it's hot and fresh. As I got one of each to go, I didnt get to eat it until 1 hour later. Having it hot and fresh in store makes such a huge difference in the consistency of the smooth, gooey cheese contrasting the crisp top. Family friendly: My toddler also didn't like the crispy kunafa when it was 1hr cold, but gobbled up the whole thing when we got it fresh at the store the next visit.

I had never tried Middle Eastern sweets beyond Baklava until I came here. It was the first time I had Kunafa, and was very impressed by its delicacy! We had - Kunafa Nabulsi Nama (Soft) - Bourma (Kashta Cream Filling) - Kunafa Nabulsi Kishna (Crispy) - Bain Narain - Walnut Baklava - Turkish Bain Narain - Coconut cake My favorite was Kunafa Nabulsi Nama - warm gooey real Nabulsi cheese stretches as I lifted a piece. How can I describe it? Sweet pizza? Nice harmony of sweet and subtle saltiness - I am ready to be addicted to this. :) Bourma & Bain Narain & Turkish Bain Narain had cream called "Kashta cream" - super rich cream. The soft cream is covered with the crispy Baklava (very fine Kataifi noodles or phyllo), making the texture very enjoyable. Yummy! The service was very pleasant and passionate, and the staff was very kind when answering our questions. I will visit again! * Kunafa Nablsi Nama and Kunafa Nabulsi Kishna are best to eat immediately for the Nabulsi cheese's gooeyness. We could not finish them on the day we bought them, but warming them up in microwave just a bit recovered the gooeyness.

Not sweet. No flavor really, doesn't suit my palate. Stagg were rude and speak down to us and our family.

I wish I had a photo of our spread as they were so nicely prepared. The staff were very kind and made some recommendations from the menu and I browsed the nicely laid out store with shelves full of exotic ingredients I vowed to return to try. The sandwiches were tasty; all toppings were freshly prepared and the variety of traditional Lebanese ingredients and sauces in the two vegetarian sandwiches were so perfect together. We especially loved the fried cauliflower, eggplant and arugula combination in the Veg Cut. Beirut Garden was also scrumptious with mouthwatering halloumi with mint chutney on a soft Schiachiatta bread. The smoked salmon was also prepared on the same bread, as their bagel delivery hadn't arrived yet but this was also very good with lots of capers and red onions. The cold cut platter was well put together and the clients loved the beetroot hummus as well. I can't wait to return to try their hot food take out and all the amazing coffees I saw!

Very interesting market. Has fresh cut deli and butcher section, hot foods section, bakery section,…read moreand seating area with full service bringing you food and taking away the dishes. Very lovely staff. Took my little one for a workshop, and while that was going on, I ordered lunch. Chicken shawarma was delicious, though a tad salty for my preference, flavour was undeniably delicious. The chicken portion was huge. My husband ate a late breakfast and wasn't too hungry, so he only got a falafel order. It was super crispy and nice, mild flavour. Many other falafel I've tried had an overwhelming spice that made it too strong for my preference, but this was delicious. There were some other workshop participants' parents that were mildly irritating, even to me, as a fellow peer (parent of child in the workshop), but the staff powered through and served them with courtesy and professionalism. The workshop was gingerbread cookie decorating and was a fun experience, however the children were getting a bit bored while the dough was chilling for 10 minutes. It included a kids meal of a main, fries, and drink. My little one got the chicken nuggets, she loved it and ate every piece. The only thing that is slightly inconvenient is after browsing the food section, you need to go back to the front to pay at the cashier, and then return to the food station to tell them the order. Not sure if they can try a different method, but aside from that, excellent people, and excellent food!
