It has been a long time since I was at Kung Fu Tea. Immediately noticed the exterior renovations at The Shops at Stirling Place, which made the atmosphere more inviting. This place has not changed a bit. The ambiance remained quiet with ample seating to provide a relaxing experience. Kung Fu Tea offers a selection of made-to-order tea, milk, and fruit based beverages with your choice of toppings - bubbles, beans, jellies, and pudding. A pleasant female employee took my order for a medium strawberry lemonade with less sugar added. The beverage was exceptionally tasty and refreshing for a hot day like today. I guess I was very thirsty cause I finished the drink within minutes. I should've gotten a large drink instead. Hopefully it doesn't me a long time to visit this place again. read more

Whenever they have events, this location never gets the items on time. I went last week for the HTTYD themed stuff and the lady said they don't have it and to try again next week. I came this week and they still don't have it, she said to try next week. This is annoying. Would try another location but this is the only one closest to my work. My middle child had her guitar band practice so after this I decided we deserved a treat. This is my 3rd time trying the place and I love their Almond Milk Tea. My daughter was going to try the Winter Melon Milk Tea, but then noticed Oreo Wow and decided to try that. The gentleman at the register confirmed it was definitely a better choice...and she loved it! It was super warm ingredients at the bottom that mixed well with lots of boba and oreo crumbs. I had tried KFT for the 1st time when I was living in Ft. Myers & really enjoyed it. After finding out there was one located in Davie I knew I would have to give it a visit. Much like my 1st experience, it turned out to be great! As far as boba chains go, this is definitely one of the best around. It wasn't too busy when I visited but everything from the countertops to the tables to the workers drink station were incredibly clean. The 2 employees were both very friendly/helpful & even called me sir (which is always funny to me when i'm only a couple years older, at most, than they were). They even helped me, without any hesitation, when I wasn't sure how to use the app. Unfortunately, this location doesn't carry the coffee series that I fell in love with but that would be my only complaint. I opted for the black tea because I like to compare it to other places & it was definitely a good choice. This tea has a good combination of citrus & herbal flavors that I haven't really tasted in any other black tea before. It seemed to be freshly brewed & was enjoyable with each sip I took; I will definitely be getting this again. Be sure to ask for boba added because it doesn't come with it regularly. It costs a little extra but you get a very generous amount added to your drink. The boba is a bit more on the firm side & you can really taste the brown sugar in every individual pearl. You also know it's fresh because they claim it's made every 2 hours (according to their website) & based off the taste/texture it seems to be true. If you've never had a boba drink or want to try out a new place, then I'd recommend giving KFT a visit. KFT as a chain is pretty good. I'm glad they opened up a location in Pembroke Pines as it just adds to the boba location variety in the area. This location specifically has tabletop games which you can play with others. The service is good, it's clean, and overall not a bad place to go to if you've never had boba or if you have and want to try somewhere new. Kung Fu Tea is probably among my top 3 boba places in Broward. Their boba is always fresh and the right texture, and they have a good assortment of drinks. They also have a lot of games available for people to play and have fun while they're at the café. As far as service, sometimes it's hard to understand their recommendations for menu items because some are very similar, and my drinks have gotten mixed up on three different instances because of that. Nonetheless, I enjoy trying new flavors so as long as it's not something I'm allergic to, i'll still take it. The café is pretty long and fairly spacious so it doesn't get too cramped for long during events, but when there's a rush of people it can feel stuffed quite quickly. I'm glad I have to go out of my way to come here, because I could easily develop a habit of getting drinks from here! I first came here to use a T-Mobile Tuesdays credit through their app. Now I keep getting rewarded and given discounts on drinks with email opt in, like $1 off in the early afternoon (12-3pm or 12-4pm). You can stack discounts and get free toppings like boba, cookie crumbles or oolong tea jelly (which, by the way, has a sweet and slightly earthy flavor to it and I think you should get). What's not to love, am I right? I've gotten the matcha milk plain and with black sesame and that yummy oolong tea jelly. I recommend getting any drink without ice to prevent watering it down. If you're like me, you're going to drink it anyway while it's cold! Ordering is really easy, and if you order ahead, they leave your order at cube shelves right at the front of the store, so you don't need to go all the way in to retrieve it. The staff has always greeted me when I walk in to get my order. The only issue I've had that prevents me from giving this place a top rating is that their cup covers spurt the contents and spill like hell when spiked with a straw! I've inserted the straw in my drink while in my car once since I was so eager to have it, and it gave a hefty matcha milk coating to my cup holder. If they would give a caution note and tips on getting the drink straw set up without having it explode in your face, I'd be a complete fan. I really tried liking KFT, gone a few times - tried multiple flavors - it's just not a go to spot for me. Usually the boba is a bit hard for my taste, and I feel that the drinks are very sweet, even when I get the lowest sugar options. I would also say half the time my order comes out wrong. It had a perfect balance of a little tartness and sweetness. My friend had a milk tea. She said that she enjoyed it too. There is a comfortable couch to sit around and the place is clean. I am familiar with Kung Fu Tea's NYC locations. I have visited this store before and after quarantine. Plus, this was one of the only boba tea places on delivery platforms (at least in my area) during quarantine, which my family greatly appreciated. Prior to quarantine, I recall getting my usual, grapefruit green tea (50% sugar) with boba.It was good, but not as light, refreshing, and fruity as some other places I have been to. During quarantine, it was nice to have Kung Fu Tea, deliver, although they did not have my beloved grapefruit flavor. On my last two visits they have not had it either. One server told me they were out of grapefruits that day since the farmer's market next door was out of grapefruits. I was encouraged to hear that the tea was made with fresh fruit from the market, until my next visit a few days later. This past Friday another server told me they have not had grapefruit flavored tea since quarantine started. Period. I have tried other fruit tea flavors including mango, passion fruit, and pineapple, all with 50% sugar. All have a very strong tea flavor and are not very fruity. The boba is very good, slightly sweet with a firm texture. Kung Fu is open for take out, without seating but you can use the rest room. Nowadays there are lots of Boba places, so I went to Yelp for guidance, and this place was not only one of the top rated places in my area, but it was also a place that specializes in teas, not a restaurant that also serves Boba tea. The place is small, but nice and clean. It is takeout only during this time of Covid-19, but it also has a nice area with a couple of couches and WiFi. My first time coming here was a pleasant experience. There was a line but it went by quick and the employees were all helpful and friendly. The establishment is hip and clean. A nice spot for friends to hang out and have some good tea. I ordered the milk tea with oreo and boba which was extremely delicious. They use powdered milk and you can tell but it doesn't take away from how good it is. It was thick and had the perfect balance of sweetness. It seems that a lot of these boba milk tea shops are opening up in my area. While I didn't visit all of them, but I assume the boba milk teas all pretty much taste the same. This store is not too far from the other boba milk tea store we have visit frequently. The one thing I noticed is that this place offers a few nice couches with lots of different board and card games. The place looked nice and clean and it's ideal to come and hang out with friends. The drink menu offers a large selection of different kind of drinks. I normally just order the milk teas without boba and I went ahead with that. The tea tasted okay but I get a sense the milk tea maybe made out off from the powder stuff. My wife's drink's got boba and it tasted nice and soft. One other thing I like this place is how fast our drinks are being served. When we were there the store was kind of busy. But the staff behind the counter seems to be very organized and knows what they are doing. I can see how the tickets were coming in from the register and the drinks were being made in an assembly line in a very order fashion. The last time we visited the other place, we had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks. Overall this is a very nice place. We'll probably come back again and try something else. read more

Kung Fu tea is a relatively new place located on Stirling Road and Davie, slightly before that! Parking is very easy to find here and the hours of the store are great. Signage is large and very easy to spot. The interior of this place is very minimalistic but that's not a bad thing one bit. There is plenty of seating, of which it is booths and seats as well as a couple little couches to relax on. There is even board games how you can grab to play and relax while you enjoy your drink. The drink I chose was the winter melon green tea, iced. I included boba bubbles which are an additional charge but much cheaper than many other places around. The tea was steeped perfectly and just the right amount of strength! The cool thing about this place is after you order your drink you get to choose the size you want, how much ice you like, and how much sugar you want. There are many different options here such as regular Iced Teas, hot teas, smoothies and milk teas amongst many other things. I definitely recommend this place and hope everyone gets to experience it and at least once. read more

In addition to their classic and milk versions, they have unique ones like slushie, punch and yogurt. Some versions are offered in both hot or iced. Step one you select your size. Step two your toppings (extra $). Next your sweetness level. Love this option. Lastly select your ice level preference. Love this option even more. I also appreciate they mark the caffeine free and gluten items. Loved the taro slushie. Refreshing and deliciously yummy but next time I'm going to try one of their popular flavors. This has to be one of the top boba places in Davie area and also my top 3 go-to boba spot. I continue to get the Kung Fu Tea milk tea with no toppings. What excites me is that they have 120% sugar who would've even thought! You can also put whatever sugar level you want which is good. Their prices are about $5 a cup and they have a variety of toppings. It's really hard for me to find a certain milk tea that I like so I'm glad they opened one near me. Excited that there's finally a kung fu tea here in south Florida! No need to go up to Orlando just to get a drink haha. We came here before their grand opening and then on their grand opening weekend, they were offering bogo on certain drinks. I ordered the original milk tea and winter melon tea for the bogo deal. Their milk tea is always a win and it was my first time trying the winter melon, it was very good and quite sweet. However, you can ask to alter the sugar and ice level. On other days that I would come here, when I order certain drinks, they tell us that they don't have that drink or they needed to get the recipe for it. Just be aware that there is a $10 minimum when using your card to pay, but you can download the app and connect your card and pay any amount you want. read more
