It was quiet inside as a male and female employee were preparing and packing online orders. When the female employee was available, she took my order for a Beach Bum smoothie. The smoothie was very fruity and absolutely delicious! It was made with fresh strawberries, banana, and my choice of white chocolate. I usually take a picture of the smoothie for my review, but I was enjoying it too much. Before leaving, I saw an advertisement for the new Toasted Snack Rolls featuring Hawaiian Heat, Bacon Chipotle Chicken, and Turkey Bacon Honey Dijon. Actually most of them are delicious. The problem is...if you're diabetic, or pre diabetic, those blends have too much sugar. Açaí berry is not naturally sweet and all the sugar and honey etc alongside the fruit which has its own natural sugar, it defeats the purpose of having açaí (which an help regulate blood sugar in its natural form). This morning I went to Swami and yes, they have they pre mixed blends which has strawberry, banana, almond milk, blueberries, coconut water granola and honey. However, the sweet young lady told me she could make me one with only strawberries and blueberries (diabetic friendly fruit) and I was ecstatic! I wish more people offered a fresh version and custom for individuals like me. Furthermore, it was $12 and change!!! I was able to eat and enjoy a guilt free açaí bowl FINALLY!!!
