I would like to say that me and my friends been waiting for a place like this a long time. We all love boba and of course everyone knows lollicup but after awhile it gets old and you want new flavors. We tried bambu and it was ok some of my friends didnt like it and thought it could be a lot better. We been waiting to try this and we had our hopes up high and guess what? We were not disappointed. Of course with a grand opening we anticipated a long line and a long wait but it was all well worth it. When me and my friends got to finally order we each ordered 2 - 3 different drinks and they all were so good some better than others but we liked them all. It was sad that when we got to order the boba ran out right when it was our turn hahah i guess i can blame it on my friend who ordered right before me and he took the last of it and i wasnt going to wait 30 mins for the new boba to cook but we were ok with it because honestly all the drinks tasted great without it even though i know boba might have made it taste better but i know how hard it was to try and keep up with everything when the lines are nonstop from open to close so i dont blame kung fu tea at all. I can tell you that the orange green tea was delicious and so refreshing and strawberry milk tea was so so good. I definitely recommend everyone give this place a try and im sure you will find a flavor or flavors that you will love. Me and my friends have found our new place for our boba and drink fix. Hands down the best boba place in Colorado. I have been searching for good boba in Denver for quite some time now and I finally stumbled across this place. I live in west Denver and it's about 20 minutes drive to Kung Fu Tea but let me tell you it is worth the drive!!! We came in around 9:30pm on a Sunday and the line is out the door. The store has cute decor and decent space for people to hangout. We ordered the Kung Fu milk tea and the Kung Fu green milk tea both with boba. Being born and raised in Taiwan, I assure you their milk tea is the most authentic I've ever had in the United States! I would suggest that they ease up on the milk in the green milk tea and focus on the green tea flavor. Overall, Kung Fu Tea is a traditional boba store that offers very good variety of drinks and adds on. I will definitely be back with friends and family. I would also recommend this place to people who have not tried boba as well. read more

This experience took me through memory lane as the Canto-pop music played in the background. I'm really excited that this place is so close to home and that the vibe is always bouncing. Where can I start... Kung Fu Tea is one of the newest Taiwanese style milk tea shops in Colorado. They are very well known for serving the freshest ingredients with every drink they make, I recommend trying their herbal jelly if you want a fresh treat in your tea. When you first walk into the tea shop you'll notice the layout and the decor of the restaurant gives it an elegant yet urban vibe. The staff are very friendly and offer a lot of help for first time customers, the owners were very friendly and even offered me a sample of their pudding which was absolutely delicious (I wanted seconds after the first bite). I came in the day after their grand opening and they were still busy but despite the chaos of customers our drinks came out very fast. This place is a must for all tea lovers. Enjoy. read more

Long awaited review! As a KFT addict I must say that I've been there even before a location opened up in Colorado, so I was well acquainted with the menu, service, and drinks. KFT has a lot of options to choose from within their menu of drink flavors. Their boba is always fresh and almost always consistently made. There's only been a few times that I've come across boba that wasn't fully cooked at KFT, but it doesn't happen often. Not only are the drinks good, but the service is great too! They do everything in the order they get the orders, but that doesn't prevent them from getting orders out in a timely matter, no matter the size of the order. KFT also has the choice on adding Oreo as a drink topping, which might sound a bit odd, but TRUST ME it's DELICIOUS. It's hard to get bored with the drinks since there are so many varieties of milky and fruity drinks. There's also the option of choosing your ice and sugar levels, but some drinks can't be changed in sweetness as that's how it originally comes. The taro milk tea and passion fruit green tea are my favorites! Depending on the time you go to KFT it may be hard to snag a seat due to high volume of customers, but the layout of KFT is very clean and simple. Since customers usually leave once they get their drinks, you won't have to wait too long to grab a seat, but grab it quick... Finally opened! Hands down - best boba tea in town. We been there 3 times already and we live 35 min away. Green milk tea is classic and their most popular drink. Our kids love the jelly wow milk. We also tried the red and mung bean and taste like vietnamese Che (dessert drink). We definitely will be skipping Lollicup to come here. read more

I love me some boba. Don't get me wrong, they do it right. It just takes FOREVER, I've waited up to 20mins for a drink. Tonight's experience really sucked though. I don't like anything but real milk, I don't order anything with substitutes, ever... my drink was made with coconut milk, I didn't trade it in because I didn't notice until I got home, 15mins away. I recently discovered mini bubbles and I am so glad this place had them! This was our first time here, and there was a long line when we first entered (a good sign). I ordered the Coffee Milk Tea, and it was great! The coffee taste was not as strong as others I have had in the past, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. To me, the most important part of boba is the bubbles, and these were the best bubbles I have had so far! They weren't soggy on the outside or unevenly cooked, but had a perfect chew to them and just the right amount of sweetness. Drinks are pretty sweet. Even if you ask for less sweetener, it'll taste sweet. The boba seems to be sweetened as well.

This place has a wide variety of options on their menu. I usually get the Taro slush and add Oreo. It's a really good combination. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, they do not blend the Oreos in for you. Lots of their other drinks are also very good. read more

I've had kung fu before in vegas and have always liked it. I like how for the most part you can choose how sweet you want your drink, for example I dont like mine too sweet so I request 50% sweet when possible. Egg pudding is a great alternative to boba and definitely my to go topping. Prices are also very reasonable for boba. Wait time can be long especially weekends when they're busiest. I wish kung fu had more flavors such as honeydew though. Oh well, I'll still come get my boba fix here! read more

I love good boba, and unfortunately trying out how each Pho shop in Denver makes theirs isn't the best way to go. Luckily I came across Kung Fu Tea. The first thing you'll notice is probably a line out the door. Now that should tell you two things, one that it must be popular, and two, that it's worth waiting in line for. I tend to gravitate towards Taro anytime I order myself a boba, which my fiance calls boring and predictable, but I just think I'm establishing a standard to compare things to... call it what you will, she's probably right (or at least that's what I'm supposed to say). Taro, like many of their teas come in both a milk slush as well as a tea. Now there's a couple of differences. One is that a slush is obviously frozenish, and the tea is all liquid. The other is that for the Taro at least, the slush is un-caffeinated. Now this leads to a conundrum for me, because I actually like them both in their own rights. Kung Fu Tea, unlike some other places, actually uses real fresh brewed tea. You can actually taste the tea in the drink and not just the chosen flavor, which was new for me, as there are very few places that put an emphasis on making sure that flavor is forward, but it was a good thing, and really added to the drink. The slush on the other hand could more correctly be called a creamy icy milkshake with boba balls, but a creamy delicious milkshake. My fiance mixes it up a little more than I do (obviously) and has tried the honey and the Kung Fu flavor, both of which are good, but I still prefer my Taro. They do a good enough job that I at least mix it up between the Taro slush and the Taro tea, that's spontaneity right? (I think her response will still be a big N-O) read more

We went around 1p.m. Sunday and there was a line out the door so we had lunch at Panera first and stopped by after 2p.m. and there was no wait. Downloaded the app and you get $4 off and just scan, takes it from the card you entered. The place is very small inside with a few tables so best to order and go. My wife and I love this place. I don't mind waiting more than 10 mins for boba - I enjoy it. I actually love how busy this place is all the time. I wouldn't want to go to a place where there isn't a huge line. We first had Kung Fu tea back in NY, and this location did not disappoint. I haven't tried all the items yet, but many items are carefully thought out. Teas are strong and flavorful. My most recent order to mango green tea boba, and I was surprised how both flavors came forward in different ways. What a delicious choice if you're looking for a refreshing, fun, unique beverage! The place was packed, but the service was fast and friendly. Lots of options for tea drinks, slushy fruit drinks, yogurt drinks and even a few coffee drinks to cater to the caffeine connoisseur. Great service, great drinks, great vibes. My favorite boba spot in Denver hands down. Being from Houston, I'm super picky about my boba so I was extremely excited when I saw a Kung Fu tea here in Denver too! Since moving away from home, the Denver Boba scene been a bit of a hit or miss (most times the boba is frozen and not chewy at other places). But Kung Fu tea has definitely blown all the other places I've tried in Denver out of the water. I usually make the trek here about once or twice a week. I've tried the Taro milk tea and the Kung Fu milk tea here - and honestly, the house special Kung Fu milk tea is the bomb.com! What's unique about Kung Fu tea compared to most boba shops here is that it is truly reminiscent of authentic tea shops - you can customize sweetness, ice preference, toppings, and diff flavor combos. My go-to is the Kung Fu milk tea with boba and Oreo as an extra topping. It sounds strange, but the crushed Oreos really add a nice balance to the fragrant oolong taste of the milk tea. The quality and efficiency of Kung Fu is like no other boba tea establishment in Denver. The drinks are flavorful and not overly sweet, the service is spot on and one wall is sparkly purple.
