Very small space but you can tell it has a lot going on! High-caliber super knowledgeable staff, interesting and intriguing seasonal menu items, merch that melds perfectly, specifically and beautifully into its environment. Soothing color scheme and literal refreshing beverages! I got the Spring Break Aerocano - but then learned about their cold plunge energy soda which uses ripe coffee beans so the caffeine is more concentrated or something! Sounds excellent and I will try it next time! I always learn about something that I want to try the next time I'm in! I had previously purchased the Platt Park roast (love the local love!), and enjoyed French pressing it at home. It was really smooth and delicious - an all morning presser. I noticed that this time when I was in that they had beans for sale that had CBD! So interesting! I love the CBD nitro cold brew at Blue Sparrow and so I totally zoomed in on this on the shelf and was totally intrigued and had so many questions! The roaster happened to be in the store so he answered all my questions! This place always feel so sophisticated and I always learn multiple new things just by speaking with the barista's and this time the roaster as well! All in all a good experience here. I would come here to grab a drink and not stay, especially if you're trying to work. Minimal tables and a lot of patrons either hanging out or working so space isn't guaranteed. The barista who took my order was friendly, offered suggestions so that was appreciated. I got the Strawberry Rhubarb Latte and while it got to be a tad too sweet towards the end, appreciate any establishment who gets adventurous with their drinks! This is a cute little spot on Pearl Street in Denver. The ambiance is light and bright and the coffee was really good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the street parking could be problematic on a busy day, and the tables are very small and close together, and seating is limited. The place is adorable, welcoming and the staff is also super kind. I went with their specialty drink, the pistachio latte (half sweet). It was very tasty and hit the spot. Vibe I love exploring new coffee shops, and I found this one on Yelp. It was just as cute as the photos. I got there around 8am and snagged a great seat. Most tables are round, so if you like to spread out, aim for one of the bigger end tables. It was quiet when I arrived, then it filled up fast, so coming early paid off. The vibe was modern and cozy, and the staff was friendly and genuinely happy to help. This is a great short term working spot. The WiFi would cut in and out, but it was still workable. I stopped by for a coffee and enjoyed my experience! I ordered a Horchata latte which was the closest thing on the menu to a fall drink. They will switch to their fall menu on September 22 but for now they still have summer drinks. Lavender coffee makes all syrups and house and their Horchata was made in house too! It was quite tasty when paired with espresso, and not overwhelmingly sweet. The barista was very nice, and made good drink recommendations! The interior was very busy on a Thursday afternoon at 2:00 PM. Almost all of the seats were taken by individuals working on a laptop. There was a really cute outdoor patio in back of the shop. It would be awesome to sit out there on a nice day. You could definitely bring a dog and sit out on the patio. Overall good drinks in a trendy space! Vegan/nondairy milk is available. read more

While searching for a coffee shop to do some work, Lavender came up in my search, and I decided to pop in. I go to St. Pearl often, so it was great to see a new spot open. I ordered their Desert Gem latte, one of their Summer specialties. At first, I was a little skeptical (what do you mean, palo santo syrup, sweetgrass cream, and black salt?), but after the first sip, I was taken aback. It's super sweet, and the smokiness from the palo santo worked well together. I also got it less sweet and it was still enjoyable The interior of the coffee shop is cute, but the space is very limited. There is an outside patio with a covering, but in the afternoon in the summer, it can get hot very quickly. Also, to get a seat inside, you have to be there early. Luckily, I guess they have it where the wifi ends after an hour and a half. If you stop in and want to try something a little off the beaten path, definitely check out their specialities. Modern, chic are included in the whole cuteness of this coffee shop once I was inside it. It somewhat intimidated me in a way that I got nervous standing in front of a young lady who took my order. And yet as if to break that cold ice, she with a warm smile calmed me down where I was able to speak confidently as to what I wanted to order. Their summer menu caught my eye. It's not simply one or two but it's got 8 different items on it. As a person who tends to stick to the norm, I decided to get out of my comfort zone and became audacious so I got me "Desert Gem", one of the items from the very summer menu. This beverage contains Palo Santo syrup (had no clue what that was but hey, this was all about being adventurous, right??), espresso, mild of choice (went with whole milk), Colorado sweet grass cream floater (another one that I have never heard of, oh what the heck!!), and black salt sprinkle. And this is/was $8 in a 16oz cup ( they can make both hot or cold.) We finally out of the crazy early summer heat where the temperature for today's high was mid 70's but since I wanted something refreshing, iced sounded good to me. I asked the same young lady if this beverage was sweet the sweeter side. "Are you a person who's into sweet stuff?" was asked kindly to me by her to which I replied, "Not really". She was happy to have it modified to half of its sweetness. A kind gesture like this is always appreciated. Once my drink was up, I grabbed it and off I went for a little walk in the neighborhood having my beautiful iced beverage in my hand. They surely perfected the sweetness; it was just right. They do sell bakery/baked goods and yet the selection is quite small. By the time I got there, there were only a few items left in the glass case. That is something I can look forward to next time I go here early in the morning. This is another solid coffee shop with its clean and modern ambiance, friendly staff and quality coffee. read more

While on an afternoon walk, I went to Lavender Coffee. I thought they were only open to early afternoon. In fact they are open 7 days a week from 7am-4pm. I got an iced Matcha Latte with whole milk. I asked how much ice they use. They put the unsweetened matcha up about 3/4 of a 12oz cup, then add ice. Just right. They use Rishi Matcha, very smooth & not chalky. I was QUITE the fan of this place! I came twice while on a weekend trip, the first time getting the lavender earl grey latte (gorgeous, $6), and the second time getting the seasonal pistachio latte (also really good, albeit not as strong a pistachio flavor as I'd expected!, $8). The staff are friendly and helpful, and the ambiance inside is excellent for lingering and studying or just hanging out, although when I came around 3p on a Friday there were no tables left (there's only 6-7 inside the place). It has a light, airy feel; also they sell random fancy-brand body/personal care items (reminds me of an Ulta display counter). It's all street parking out front, but there was plenty. Maybe a bit too cute for me. There is limited seating inside, and on a recent Friday each of the few bistro sized tables were taken. Note: there will likely be infants given that Lavender is close to Platte St. and just west of Wash Park. It will be no surprise that the "coffee boutique" is styled in a Sahara color palette which happens to mirror the Anthropologie clad clientele. There is a patio out back which faces the alley where there is limited parking. I found a spot on the street out front. I'm glad I tried Lavender coffee. I've frequented this coffee shop a few times since they've opened and I would call this spot my favorite coffee shop in Denver! What do I love about them? 1. Seasonal and menu offerings - always unique and tasty and has CBD options! I appreciate the effort they put into making their menu and their drinks. Their seasonal bellisima matcha (cherry vanilla matcha) has my heart. I've made the 25 minute drive to get this matcha multiple times now and I think about it every day in between. SUCH good matcha! I stopped by here before walking around Washington Park. Cute shop with some seating, nice ambiance inside. It was really quiet when I went so it seems like a good workspace. We got the earl grey lavender matcha and the seasonal Mara matcha which has blueberry, aloe, sea moss and cherry. There are a few tables and some outlets but may need to ask the other customers if you can use the outlets on the sides if you're sitting at the middle tables. I just had a wonderful facial at Clean Your Dirty Face and noticed that the Lavender Coffee Boutique was open and wanted to support local businesses. They opened around the end of November 2023. It is nicely decorated, inviting and I felt very comfortable as soon as I walked in. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and efficient. I ordered the Matcha Latte with a chocolate cookie and both were delicious! They also sell skincare products, coffee and tea in store and online. You can sign up to receive emails and you receive a 10% discount on your first order. This will definitely be a place I will come to more frequently. Overall a good experience. The barista was very friendly that took our order. This is a very small/intimate spot and there is maybe 4-6 tables, majority two tops. We got the tiramisu latte and almond cherry latte. I thought since the tiramisu latte is served in a martini glass, it would be cold but it is a hot beverage. That's on me for not asking though. For the almond cherry latte, the peppercorn overtook the entire drink and you could barely taste any cherry. Very cute coffee shop located in Platt Park near old South Pearl Street. The interior has calming vibes which are matched by their unique coffee and tea flavors. I tried the rose latte and the green tea. The latte was beautiful and did not have an overwhelming floral taste. The green tea came with its own tea pot which they offered to refill with hot water. Note that most of the tables are rather small and the wifi is only available for 45 minutes at a time so it isn't the best place to come and work. However, it's perfect to come and relax, meet with a friend, or read a book! read more

There is a good amount of coffee shops in the area all with their own unique style. I would say that Lavender's vibe is modern, minimalistic, and bright. One unique thing about Lavender is that they have a few offerings with CBD. If these are up your alley, make sure to check this place out! I am a sucker for a good cup of coffee and a place to chill and read. So I am always on the search for a good coffee shop. I absolutely love the interior design of the coffee shop. First, it is very modern and homey. The lighting is warm even on a gloomy day inside. The batista was informative and willing to give their recommendations. I got their lavender oatmilk cold brew, and my husband got the seasonal sage latte. The sage latte is very unique and bold while being an easy drink. The lavender cold brew was on tap and has a strong lavender flavor vs. others that I've tried where I wasn't sure about the flavor. The seats were comfortable and had a clean bathroom.
