Stopped by Ding Tea for a quick boba treat on our way back and it was a good experience. The shop is very spacious with several tables and chairs along with cozy armchairs. It seems like a great spot to hang out and catch up with friends. Customer service was excellent and the cashier was patient and polite, as we had questions on non-caffeinated drinks and hot drink options. We were able to order our drinks on the kiosk, customize the sweetness and toppings, and only waited about 10 minutes before they were ready. We signed up for the rewards program and ordered our drinks as recommended by the gentleman at the front counter. I ordered the Aloe Vera Peach Juice which includes real aloe Vera jelly. It was delicious even with half the sugar. My family ordered a Wintermelon Milk tea. I've never had Wintermelon so I had to try it. It tastes a bit nutty/with a hint of coffee flavor. Very interesting! We all can't wait to come back and try other flavors! Prices are average and there's 2 sizes to choose from: medium and large. The restaurant also serves food. Ding Tea is the newest addition to the tea shop scene in Johns Creek and one of the newest Ding Tea locations in Atlanta. A big parking is shared by other business in the shopping center. Parking is never an issue. This location is open, spacious, and has tons of seating. Unlike the Duluth location, this one can accommodate large groups. They're almost always busy, and the friendly staff does a great job of working quickly and efficiently. This location also has an IG worthy wall flower just like their other locations. I've tried several drinks at this location, and most of them are consistent with other locations. However, I found their wintermelon milk tea to be too sweet, even with half the sugar. I usually order my drinks with their crystal boba. In addition to having an extensive drink menu, they also have a growing snack menu. I recently tried one of their fried tofu snacks (they offer two different kinds), and looooved the seasoning they used. I don't recall the name, though. Great portion for snacks! They've recently reopened for takeout and maybe delivery through a third party app. However, the dining room remains closed. We were lucky enough to get the last seats with a table Sunday. My daughter had been asking for some boba tea, so my boyfriend and I took her and her friend here. I got to try her mango milk tea and it was so good. I love those bubbles...so yummy. I like that you can control the amount of ice they put in your drink, along with the amount of sugar...because these drinks can put you over the edge. They offer drinkss with tea, milk, or more like a slushee. On our second visit we tried the strawberry yogurt slushee and it was sooo good! I liked this one better than the milk/tea drink. I'm excited that a new bubble tea place has opened up around here. Snow Mountain needed some competition! I'd never heard of Ding Tea before, but they seem to be opening up a few shops around town (I saw another one in that shopping complex where Umaido is). The space is huge -- the interior is stylish and spacious, with plenty of seating. And the menu is extensive! They have milk teas, juices, coffees, the whole shebang. As with most of these bubble tea places, you can customize your ice level and sugar level, which I always appreciate. My sister and I ordered the Hokkaido milk tea, and also the Monster Boba Latte (I think known as Tiger Tea elsewhere?). The Monster Boba comes with streaks of brown sugar/caramel--hence the tiger namesake. I thought it was delicious, but just a little bit too sweet for me. I loved the Hokkaido: the milk is great. Creamy, nourishing, pure. My sister says they import it directly from Japan (but don't quote us on that!). Overall, a welcome addition to the neighborhood! read more

My first Boba experience! So thankful for the guy working the counter who was able to provide information and advice and walk us through what to order. We ordered the brown sugar milk boba, as recommended, and the passion fruit boba tea. Both were delicious! I prefer ones without the milk. He did tell us that the milk is non-dairy creamer which is helpful to know for those who don't eat dairy regularly! Having the choice of sweetness and ice levels is so handy! I stopped by with my mom since we've both been curious about the bubble tea around johns creek, and I had high hopes since I think the ding tea on pleasant hill is pretty good and was expecting something similar to there. The service was super fast and the people there were really nice, but the tea was just average and the boba was probably the worst boba I've ever had at any bubble tea shop! I got my usual boba order of a regular oolong with less sugar and less ice, and everything, especially the boba, tasted so watered down and flavorless. I don't know if it would redeem itself if you got regular sugar and less ice, but I felt like I was drinking watered down milk with something kinda slimy and chewy. read more

We ordered their Taiwanese chicken nuggets and fried fish tofu. Chicken nuggets are always super crunchy and flavorful with the added basil leaf in each batch :). This is the closest boba place to me so I come here pretty often. The ambience is super cute, with enough seating to accommodate groups, and they have board games available for use as well. At the moment, the seating area is closed off due to COVID, and all of the workers wear masks, with sanitizer available for customers, so precautions are being taken. I've tried a number of their drinks and they're all very great! The only thing I'd say to keep in mind is that they make the drinks SUPER sweet, so even if I ask for a regular sweet level (which I did the first time here), it'll be crazy sweet, so keep that in mind. This goes for any of the drinks I've tried here, so I always ask for less sugar. As for the drink options, they have a TON of different kinds of drinks, a lot of which I haven't seen in many other boba places. I love getting the wintermelon milk tea. I am glad I gave Ding Tea a second chance, after receiving a txt from them letting me know that they have online ordering we divided to get Boba as our first out of quarantine treat! It was delicious, obviously it was not crowded and my order was ready and waiting for me within a few minutes. The online ordering process was very easy and it gave you all the options just as if you were in the store. We had three drinks all were a little skimpy in boba but delicious. The small kiddo was done with his by the time we go to the intersection, I had a monster tea with tiramisu cream, Smooth, silky, coffee ish ( is that a word)?, and the oldest kiddo has a Mango Green Tea. We come here all the time. It's the best bubble tea shop in the area. They are always consistent with the tea, boba and sweetness level. My go to order is the black milk tea with boba, less sweet and less ice. The spicy Taiwanese nuggets are also really good. My new favorite place for bubble tea in John's Creek! Its kind of hidden behind a Bank of America, at the end of a secluded shopping plaza. The tea house is very roomy and has a LOT of seating! There is only one thing I get from here and it is: Monster Boba Latte. its amazing. Get it with cheese cream and you're on your way to milky heaven. Its basically milk drizzled with brown sugar topped with more cheese milk foam. I'm drooling just thinking about it. I also got the ginger longan hot tea for my mother in law and she was surprise how tasty it was. They also have food here! I tried the sweet potato hot dogs and the chicken nuggets. The sweet potato hot dogs aren't what you think -- its shredded sweet potato and sausage slices all mixed into some batter and then deep fried, topped with ketchup and mustard. It's not bad, but its definitely not what i was expecting. The taiwanese chicken nuggets were pretty good! flavorful, crispy on the outside, juicy tender meat on the inside. I would get this again. The monster boba latte won me over so much that this Ding Tea is my new favorite tea house in John's Creek. Ill be back! read more

I would try Ding Tea again because their black milk tea was pretty good (you can actually taste the tea), but the Strawberry Matcha Latte I got was very, very grainy. Would not try the specific drink again. Took off a star because I had a little bit of trouble with contactless pick up-- called, they said they would be out, I waited for at least 5 minutes and ended up going inside to pick up my drinks. I am so glad Ding Tea opened in John's Creek! They have climbed their way to my #1 bubble tea spot (for now lol). These days I'm trying to have less sugar, so my go-to drink is usually no sugar green tea with crystal boba. A lot of places make their green tea pretty strong and when there's no syrup to water down the tea a little, it's super bitter, but not here at Ding Tea! Even without sugar, their jasmine green tea is justttttt right for me. I also tried the winter melon gt (requested 30% winter melon syrup) and it Hit. The. Spot. Service is also pretty good, if something is wrong with the drink or if it's not sweet enough or too sweet, they didn't hesitate to fix it (unlike another BT chain *coughkftcough*). I came here when my go-to bubble tea place was closed for renovations. Definitely tucked away in a back area of a shopping plaza, this place is also about 5 minutes away from my parents' house. Having been back here most of the pandemic, it's so nice to see all these bubble tea establishments, having not been there at all growing up. This place though...is POPPIN'. We went here on a weekend to get tea, and did not feel comfortable dining in because of how many people there were. It looked like pre-pandemic days and of course, 75% of the people were not wearing their masks. It's understandable if you are drinking or eating and not wearing a mask, but many were done eating and just lounging around not wearing a mask. The staff are all wearing masks and most of us in line were wearing masks so it just kind of didn't make sense to me. Their menu though, is extensively large. RIDICULOUSLY large. It covers so much stuff that it would be hard to say you couldn't find something to suit your taste. In some ways though, it's a bit overwhelming. Like most places, you can cater your sugar and ice level which is great, especially if you know what you want. They also have a very large snack menu, with more savory snacks and not just sweet bites. It might be good to come here on a weekday but definitely not on the weekends. I'm not ashamed to say there was a period during the pandemic were I would go to ding tea 2-3 times a week. It's one of my favorite tea places in the Johns Creek area. I appreciate how they have a large selection of different flavors, more than most other places in the area. They also have really good food. We get their nuggets all the time! Their other food looks amazing as well, will definitely have to try it. My favorite flavor is the Winter Melon Milk Tea. To me it tastes like a biscoff cookie. No where else has their Winter Melon Milk tea tasting this good! I'm always sure to snag a tea for the rod whenever I'm in the area. Also, every time I've been here the staff is super nice! Once I ordered the wrong thing online and they fixed it for me and even brought it out to my car when they noticed my dog was waiting. This location is super popular and near a school so lines do get long during peak hours! Very disappointed - not only are their drinks more expensive ($7.9 vs. $5.03), the quality is also much worse than A.M. sweet - I asked (and paid) for almond milk and it turns out the milk tea was like just tea itself (without milk). This place WAS my go to boba tea place until they decided not once, not twice, but three times (I guess I didn't learn) to skimp on toppings because they were running out. I called and asked what had happened with the lack of toppings on my orders, and they explained as they approach closing hours (2-3 hours prior to closing), the store start putting as little toppings in as possible to stretch out their supply (because it takes too long to make additional bobas according to them). These words were from the restaurant staff. To top it off, the staff concluded the conversation with "there is nothing we can do about it". Too bad. I really liked this place. Update: Thank you for reaching out and apologize for this. I am not asking for free drinks. The issue was I felt taken advantage of and the insincere apology that evening make it worse.
