They take their boba tea seriously here! Which I appreciate, but also overwhelms me because there are so many options on the menu. I walked in and had to stand to the side to stare at the menu for several minutes, just to figure out what I wanted. There are classic teas, milk teas, slushes, punches, lemonades, yogurts, coffee drinks, seasonal specials. Then you need to decide if you want boba, and if so, what kind? Do you want regular or popping boba? Do you want a milk cap? Cream? Some of the drinks (like the mango slush) come with jelly in it. Do you want the jelly that comes in the drink, or would you prefer it without? Some drinks come hot or cold. Which do you want: Hot or cold? Aghhhhh! There are so many choices. I eventually figured it out and ordered what I thought my children wanted, but then almost screamed when they asked why there were mango chunks in their drink when they only wanted popping boba. Guess what, kid? You got lucky and you got bonus mango jelly in your drink. Congratulations. This Kung Fu Tea is a nice little place to hang out, though. They have board games that you can play at your table, and we played one of them while we waited for our drinks. I was craving boba while in Fishers, and my friend suggested I make a run to Kung Fu Tea as it is less than a mile from their apartment. The store was easy to locate, with plenty of parking in the lot out front. I was greeted immediately by the friendly staff, and selecting my beverage was easy as the menu is displayed on large screens by the point of sale. The dining room is decorated with modern bold designs, much less delicate than other boba shops around Indy. Its a fun upbeat atmosphere, and they have free wifi. There are bistro tables to sit at but also soft comfy chairs if you want to stay and chat. I ordered the taro milk tea with lychee boba. I was expecting a popping boba but the boba in my drink is hard like regular boba but with a more floral taste. My drink is good, basically what I would expect from any taro milk tea. But, the app does not allow you to select specific 'popping bubbles, it is limited on app because they don't know what stock is available at the store. I ordered an iced bubble tea with lychee boba, light ice, half sweet. I absolutely love that there are so many customization options! You can pick ice amount, sweetness, etc. the menu has all these little symbols with a legend telling caffeine, ingredients, etc. I love the full disclosure on menus because I have dietary needs and sometimes literally avoid places that don't give any information at all. I feel like businesses making the effort to include these things is an important bonus and shows a consideration for customers! For a Saturday afternoon they weren't busy. The employees were friendly and helped me understand my menu options. I ordered the black sesame oolong with half sugar, and whoa was it sweet. I wasn't fond of the milk tea preparation here. The boba consistency was not bouncy, and maybe even undercooked. The drink was too creamy. When I got home I tried to remedy it by adding water to dilute it, which helped a little. I didn't want to waste it. The flavor of the sesame was good though. After a hot morning walking around the Fishers Farmers Market & Touch-a-Truck my kiddo and I decided we needed a refreshing boba. Into Apple Maps I went and Kung Fu was the closest... we were off. They have a large Selection of options. My reason for not giving 5 stars is the selection of bursting/popping boba is very limited but with what I ordered none of what they had sounded like a great combo. The girls were sweet. I got the passion fruit tea with the bubbles (chewy boba) and my kiddo got the mango with bursting grape boba. I do like that you can pick your sweetness which is really nice. Kung fu tea is a nice boba shop to stop by! I ordered the almond milk tea with bubbles. Though I asked for less sweetness, I still found my drink to be very sweet, which may be more of a personal taste issue than a restaurant issue. The only issue that I had was that when I asked for a water, I was told that it would be a charge and was given a bottle of water. Very fun & tons of options! The only downside is a lot of their drinks are wayyyy too sweet. Thankfully they allow you to pick the sugar level: 0%, 30%, 50%, 70%, 100%, 120%. I got the Kirby Fruity Flurry at 70% sugar with grape popping boba. I wish I'd picked 30% or less because unfortunately the crazy amount of sugar made it nearly unpalatable. I love boba! Had to try Kung Fu Tea, as I pass by there all the time. So I stopped for an afternoon treat. We were the only ones in the place, and had questions. There were 2 young men working, but they weren't much help. Every question about menu items was answered with "uhhh, I don't know" which was a but annoying, but I ended up getting the pineapple sunshine tea, less sugar, with Nata jelly. It was good, with fresh pineapple pulp and the jelly was the perfect chewy consistency. For the price, I'll take it. And the place is a cute hangout! Family liked their drinks. Mine left a little to be desired. I got the Cocoa Cream Wow, one of their best sellers. It was really heavy on the milk. It had a slight cocoa powder taste about it, but it was not a wow. I get the fact that this place isn't American sugar saturated drinks, so it isn't that. Service has been good every time I've been there. The young people working are knowledgeable about their product and can answer ingredients questions (such as dairy or lactose free, etc). Incidentally they do have lactose free milk options but not dairy free (you can get tea without any milk if you'd prefer). The original bobas have been just a touch chewy and couple times, but the last 3 times I've been there, the original bobas have been really soft--sooo good! I've liked everything I've tried so far: the green milk tea (made with lactaid powder) with original bobas and no sugar, ginger milk strike (also made with lactaid), and their chai milk tea without sugar-which is also really good. When you order, you look at the menu (which can overwhelm you at first with all the options!) and tell them what size drink, then what kind of drink, any extras--bobas, poppers, red beans, etc--how much ice, how much sweetener (some drinks come with a couple shots of brown sugar or other sugary syrup, but I'm not much of a fan for really sweet drinks. So it's great that they make it to order. Also noteworthy is the Asian atmosphere. It's airy, minimalist, and pleasant. There's even a small shrine in the corner. Very clean. The restroom was very clean and properly stocked as well. Almost forgot--the store is well-situated on the corner near several other restaurants with plenty of parking, several entrances into the parking lot, and a traffic light making it easy to get to even during rush hour. When I asked a couple friends about this place they would tell me about flavor "Bubbles" that you could add to your drink. I'd heard they were good but they tell me about the flavors which were all sweet. I don't like sweet drinks so I had not tried it. Finally today I went in and asked about plain black tea and asked about the bubble flavors. I got black tea with honey bubbles, which were actually not very sweet at all. I love the drink! The bubbles are fun to pop! The lady working let me try different things which was very nice. After I got my drink I tried the aloe vera "jelly" topping. They are little cubes of aloe vera. Overall my Lady and I have had about 4 check-in at this establishments. Not easy to take photos of our teas as you can food, We have tried a few of there drinks so far, can not remember them all off the top my head. I can I will say all experiences have been great except our very last visit on Saturday May 7, 2022. There was a glitch on their mobile app that places 2 orders of the same single order by mistake, so my Lady phones in as we placed the order from the parking lot. The staff member who picked up said they would look into it and phone us back, 20 to 30 minutes pass, no phone back, like stated we were in parking lot after placing the order, so my Lady goes in to see if anything was done, rather than make a smooth transaction, fix the issue and etc, the person argues with my Lady that it is impossible for something like that to happen and instead makes bigger mistake and hands my lady two items that wee the same rather than what she and I ordered, to where my lady has to have the correct it again. For the Staff member to staff member to say their software / tech does not have issues, apparently has not worked with computers long enough, I should know working in and around IT field. Rather than argue with each and every customer that brings this to your attention, why not let your manager know and just look into it, it might just solve some headaches for both your company and your customers. So glad KFT opened up closer to where I live. I usually travel to Castleton for Boba tea mainly because they have Nata Jelly which is one of my favorites in Boba tea and this place has them and it's fresher! I got the Thai milk tea with their regular tapioca bubbles as well with nata jelly size medium, extra sugar. Sooo good, and you can watch them make your drink which is really nice. Dependable boba place that has quite a variety. It's easy to order through their app and they always come up with all sorts of flavors, toppings and combinations. My go-to Will always be taro milk tea with double boba although I sometimes will go towards winter melon with boba and gel. They let you customize the sweetness and how much ice you want. read more

My wife and daughter's are big fans of bobba tea , and we found this place in fisher while there today. I don't like tea or coffee, so I'm not that impressed with bobba. I like the slush/smoothie or jucies with the popping pearls or jellies, just sayin. The girls liked it but missed the variety they are used to. Same for me, the selection was OK, but I missed the variety options I could mix-N-match the fruits the way I would like to and was forced to take it the way it was on the menu. What the girls got, they said they enjoyed. I believe they got the coffee milk tea with regular bobba, rosehip milk tea with wow bobba, and a kung-fu milk tea with wow bobba. The drinks itself are great, but our cashier seemed to be the only one working and had a horrible attitude. I didn't get a name I came in Sunday at 3:30. I understand being frustrated with work circumstances, but she shouldn't let her frustration out on customers. There was a little girl 2 people in front of us where she scolded her to tell her to order one at a time instead of walking her through how to order. She didn't greet anyone with a hello or a prompt that she was ready to take orders she just gave me a look of annoyance then I proceeded to order. The store was becoming more crowded and it seemed like the barista's patience was running very low. She was rude and would tear off receipts aggressively then the next person would come up and her attitude seemed to get worse. The barista also didn't give customers their order numbers so we did have to guess what was ours. Someone else did finally come to help make drinks which was good. The initial experience was not great. I'm a service worker so I understand not so ideal situations or having a bad day.
