I told the gentleman I had never been here. Lol he said it's like sushi subway. The food was good. Nothing great or different. Average but good. If you know what you want and like and you know what everything is and don't have any dietary restrictions you would probably give 4 stars. I have several dietary restrictions so I always have to ask lots of questions and being in a line with impatient people doesn't work well for me. That's not the establishments fault per se. Just the nature of an assembly line... Not much wiggle room .

Loved the sushi! The dressing on the salad did not have enough ginger for me but that's a personal preference. I would get this again!

So excited to try a sushi and bubble tea joint literally next door to my house. Even more excited to find out that it's delicious! Made in front of you fresh, large rolls! The bubble tea selection was quite large. I ended up getting a mango yogurt drink and my friend got the Thai tea which she said was really good. Lulu Sushi and bubble tea has only been open a few weeks and took over the Subway location at the strip mall at 79th and Fall Creek.

The sushi bowls are a great value. Rolls are fresh and fun to customize. I love the fruit slushy and bubble tea as well.

The only thing I'd say negatively is that the protein in the bowl was smaller than Im used to for the price.

Get out of here with that mess. The donuts at Pana are donuts-donuts. They are no-nonsense: yeasted glazed, round cake, custard-filled Boston Cream Long Johns, stodgy old-fashioneds, apple fritters. I've written about this in other reviews about other Pana locations around Indy, but the Pana people are from Southern California, a magical place where there are more donut shops per person than any place on Earth. So, these guys know donuts. They have brought the great donuts of SoCal to Indy, for everyone to enjoy. And oh, I enjoy Pana donuts. My standard order at Pana is a glazed twist. I've never been anything but completely enraptured by a Pana glazed twist donut, and the one at this location was the same. It's sweet and sticky and chewy and slightly crisp at the ends. The proper way to eat a twist is to pull the twist parts apart with your fingers, and eat them like you're eating cotton candy -- licking the cottony bits of donut from your fingers and letting them dissolve in your mouth. If that makes sense. I guess you could just bite into a twist, but if you want a bite-into-able donut, maybe get something else. The twists are for the sensory lovers. The coffee at Pana is great, too. Is there nothing they can't do well? Anyway, this Pana Donuts has a few tables at which to sit, which is nice! Good for hanging out. But, of course, you can also get your donuts to go, which is what I imagine most people do.

5 Stars - Korean Fried Chicken, Boba, and a Surprise Lesson About Crystal Pearls…read more This was my second visit, and I was so excited to dig in that I completely forgot to take photos before eating. By the time I remembered, I had already finished most of the chicken and drank over half of my matcha milk tea! On my first visit, I tried the taro milk tea and loved it. This time, I ordered a matcha milk tea with bubbles at 30% sugar, along with a pineapple mojito (non-alcoholic) with crystal pearls. The matcha was smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. The 30% sugar level was perfect for letting the matcha flavor shine. The pineapple mojito was refreshing, light, and sparkling. It was also my first experience trying crystal pearls. My initial reaction was that I didn't like them because they're smaller and firmer than traditional boba pearls. They almost reminded me of boba that wasn't cooked quite long enough. But the more I drank, the more I appreciated them. In a cold, sparkling drink, they actually work really well. The pearls add a little surprise after each sip and give you something to chew, making the drink last longer and feel more interactive. Now for the star of the show: the Korean fried chicken. As someone who is mostly pescatarian, I've been wanting to try Korean fried chicken for a while, and this was a great introduction. I ordered the 10-piece wings with sauces on the side, choosing Soy Garlic and Secret Spicy. The wings were huge, meaty, and incredibly crispy. The Soy Garlic had that perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors. The Secret Spicy wasn't particularly spicy to me. I'd probably rename it Secret Sweet because that's the flavor profile that stood out most. What really impressed me was how well the chicken reheated. A quick trip through the air fryer made it even crispier than when I first brought it home. That's a rare quality in takeout fried chicken. If you're looking for a place that offers both excellent drinks and seriously satisfying Korean fried chicken, this spot is worth a visit. Whether you're a boba enthusiast, a fried chicken lover, or someone like me who enjoys trying new flavors and textures, you'll likely find something that keeps you coming back. I know I'll be back to work my way through more of the menu.

I walked in and had to stand to the side to stare at the menu for several minutes, just to figure out what I wanted. There are classic teas, milk teas, slushes, punches, lemonades, yogurts, coffee drinks, seasonal specials. Then you need to decide if you want boba, and if so, what kind? Do you want regular or popping boba? Do you want a milk cap? Cream? Some of the drinks (like the mango slush) come with jelly in it. Do you want the jelly that comes in the drink, or would you prefer it without? Some drinks come hot or cold. Which do you want: Hot or cold? Aghhhhh! There are so many choices. I eventually figured it out and ordered what I thought my children wanted, but then almost screamed when they asked why there were mango chunks in their drink when they only wanted popping boba. Guess what, kid? You got lucky and you got bonus mango jelly in your drink. Congratulations. This Kung Fu Tea is a nice little place to hang out, though. They have board games that you can play at your table, and we played one of them while we waited for our drinks. It took about 10 minutes to receive our drinks because they make the beverages to order. Sometimes, perfection takes time, and you can tell that they pay attention to detail here.
