Pumpkin Oolong Milk Tea with bubbles added

I tried this spot with $2 off from t mobile tuesdays. It was great to get the discount! This location is also conveniently right by the Forest Hills Target. I ordered to go and appreciated how they put a cover on the tea that can't spill which is great and they put it in a convenient to go bag. The pumpkin tea was good quality and I appreciated being able to pick how much ice and sugar I wanted. I hated the bubbles though. They are supposed to be tapioca but tasted flavorless to me and I ended up throwing them out. Definitely not worth the upcharge for them IMHO. The service was quick, maybe because I went right at 12:45pm. The spot is small. I recommend it only for take out.

This location is always busy. Came here on a Saturday afternoon. The employee taking the order is efficient though not friendly since it's non-stop ordering and calling drink orders. It also helps when your party knows what they want and speaks up which 1 person didn't though that comes with learning to order and takes practice. The cashier asked about sweetness and ice levels and we are all set. Ordered: 2 jasmine milk tea with boba and a minion (passionfruit slushie and something which I couldn't hear). Not a bad place if you want a drink though prepared to wait a little while.

I'm on a hunt , for the best TEA. Unfortunately this location fell very short . I visited today around 1pm, for my pickup order . It was slow , I was the only person there and received my pick up order right away . The location is small with a few seats indoors if you want to have your tea inside. The location is GREAT next to Martha's Bakery, target , chipotle and a lot of other businesses. The customer service was also very good, and I appreciated the amount of tapioca, and red beans they gave me in my drink (reason for 3 instead of 2 stars). However the tea lacked flavor and quality. It seemed way to sweet which overpowered whatever the tea was supposed to taste like . It was also very watery to me as well. They also gave me a 75 cents discount on a topping being it was my very first order in app. Saying that to say I will not try out this establishment again , nor any of their other locations. SOMEONE PLEASE INBOX ME A GREAT TEA SPOT TO TRY, so I have somewhere I can consistently go to lol.

Great Kung Fu Tea spot here in Forest Hills. Kung Fu Tea is a popular chain here in NYC, with a wide variety of drinks, including a Wow milk line which is made with Lactaid. This location is pretty fast and COVID compliant. Only 3 customers are allowed in the store at a time and there's a huge plastic barrier between you and the workers. There's also tons of hand sanitizer available. Today, I got the classic KF milk tea with pearls. The pearls were a bit hard but the drink itself was very refreshing. The drink has a light tea flavor and is definitely more milky than some of the other milk teas that I've tried. I also tried some of the oolong milk tea. There was a strong taste that didn't taste like oolong. I'm not sure how to describe it, but I personally wasn't a huge fan. Finally, I tried the strawberry milk slush. This is amazing and a great summer drink in my opinion. It does have a strong artificial strawberry flavor though. It's very sweet and just an overall great energizing pick me up.

We visited Kung Fu Tea location on Austin street at least once a week since it's the closest bubble tea in my neighborhood. The space is narrow with only 10-12 seats but there is a gender neutral restroom, which is great. The staff is cool, reluctant and rude sometimes. Our favorite is their Kung Fu Milk Tea with bubble, half sugar and less ice. Their bubble is braised with honey, chewy and sweet. The milk tea is not cooked from great tea leaves so the caffeine isn't strong.

It was a bit of a hike from where I parked but it was worth it, and the tea tasted good, if a little bit on the sour lemon side, which is the case in a lot of Queens locations it seems. The boba is good and I appreciated the drink. Good job. What to get: Lemon Black Tea With Tapioca! If you like lemon, anyway. Which milk teas are best: Honey Oolong! Oolong! Maybe Taro or Almond! I also love the regular milk tea with Oreo! Or in winter: Any of the hot milk teas! This is a cute little boba train station, in that it feels like you're packed on a platform waiting for a subway when it gets busy in here - an extraordinarily cramped Kung Fu Tea which is located in the heart Forest Hills (Queens) and it's a great place to stop and grab some bobes McGobes. I thought you might have to wait awhile, but the drink came out relatively fast after I waited in line for the (ew) bathroom (but at least they have one) (but ew). So if you have nothing to do And your partner won't give you a screw I know something better And very much wetter Get Lemon Black Tea from Kung Fu! Service is usually pretty friendly and there's a nasty little bathroom in the back if you can squeeze through and get in there (that's what she said). A really small space and very busy and good boba. So basically exactly what you would expect from a KFT in New York City. Just about 5 stars because I was surprised how good the drink was considering the crazy cramped conditions and the volume of stuff they're putting out. So advice for the CEO Your methods aren't secret, you know Stop screwing your stores Let them up off all fours And your profits and rep will soon grow

Definitely not that best bubble tea I've had. I got the mango green tea with mango jelly and I thought it was just meh. Even at regular sweetness it still tasted very bitter from the green tea, which I did not like at all. Order: - Mango green tea with mango jelly, regular sweetness, no ice (3/5) Pros: - One of the few bubble tea places in the Forest Hills area - A lot of drinks to choose from - You can control the sweetness and ice level Cons: - Even though I asked for 100% sweetness, it tasted like it was less sweet - It took a while to get my drink even though there was 4 workers and a machine that mixed the drink for them Overall: - If you're in a pinch and just need your bubble tea fix then this place is fine. But if you're looking for really good bubble tea, do yourself a favor and make a trip to Elmhurst or Flushing and get your drink from there.

Went back to try the 'Cocoa cream wow original,' this was much better. The drink reminded me of the tiger sugar bubble tea. It was sweet but not overly sweet, and am glad that they have a lactose free option. The bubbles were cooked nicely where it was soft and chewy. Overall the drink was tasty.

Skip this location. I'm normally a fan of all Kung Fu tea shops but here, together line was long and service was way slow. The person taking our order didn't even ask how we wanted our drinks. Sugar, no sugar, less sweet, etc. Then upon execution of the classic Passion Fruit Green Tea, which as you'll see, is my go to favorite at any location, this one underwhelmed. It was not sweet and too much ice. There was plenty of passion fruit flavor but the green tea was too mild and not fragrant enough. I was disappointed, especially knowing what a popular chain this place is. There are standards that were not met here. Too bad... It's location is ideal, on Austin Street. Convenient to shopping and the LIRR.

First of all I want to say I hope I could of gave a zero star! The Asian girl who called herself " manager" was the rudest person ever! She gave me the wrong drink from what I ordered! And refused to change it! Instead told me to pay again for a new drink! Like W***** also refused to give me my only back and ignored me. I have never seen such an awful person and the price is overcharge.! She should change her attitude or she would loose many customers! read more

This kung fu tea is under new management! The new owners and staff are extremely friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. This kft always has 2-3 people working at a time (not like the others who only have 1 person working sometimes!). So drinks are made in a timely manner each and every time! Service: 5/5 stars! Staff is so friendly and inviting! Cleanliness: 5/5 probably the cleanest bubble tea shop I've seen. Check out the bathroom! Lol Drinks: 5/5 my favorite is the honey milk green tea with herbal jelly and boba! The tea is full of flavor and not watered down. Bubbles are perfectly sweet and tender. You can tell that they only use the highest quality of ingredients and definitely do not cut costs by trying to skimp on on ingredients! I also learned that the herbal jelly is made fresh and not of of a can!! No botulism poisoning for me! Other: they actually have tables to sit at! The other places are all grab and go, so I like this location the best cause you can actually sit down and have a face to face conversation with your friend instead of sitting at a bar staring out the window! I work next door and I love having such a fantastic boba tea place nearby. My personal favorite is anything taro flavored but their jasmine tea and peach tea is great. Fair prices and quick service. They even have a "how to order" poster for customers who are new to the drink. They have such an extensive list of options that it's even helpful for an old pro like myself. read more

Just came here for the first time and I have I say, this is the best taro milk tea I've had! Very flavorful. They had run out of bubbles but the coconut jelly is quite good as an alternative. I would like to return and try some other flavors. read more

I wouldn't call it the best bubble tea in New York, but it's still pretty good. Yea they use powders and such but so does everyone else. What I really like about them is the customization (less sugar, less ice), the fact that you can get Lactaid milk, and I've been there maybe 20+ times and never had a problem with the order or service. read more

This place is a liars BEWARE the black tapioca ball are MIXED they taste weird!!!! they should tell you that they the taste will make ur drink taste off!!! On a most recent visit to this Kung Fu Tea my kid ask for a vanilla milk tea with black tapioca ball and when she tried it the taste was all off! She went back to the girl at the counter and told her. The girl's answer was "oh they are mix you should have ask before ordering!!!!" So now my poor kid was ass out of a desert on her senior dinner with her club!!! U SUCK!!! read more

Great bubble tea but very expensive. Often waiting on line for at least 8 minutes, on times when it's not even rush hour. The bubbles are also a hit or miss each time, sometimes too undercooked or over cooked. read more

I like Kung Fu Tea, but it's still a bit too sweet, even when half the sweetener. I'd go for the least amount of sugar next time. This hits the spot when you want bbt, but it also hits the wallet pretty hard. It's also a little hard to spot from across the street since there are a bunch of trees in the way of their signage. Oh well, I'm just glad to have a bbt spot close to home that's not terrible. read more

Kung Fu Tea is pretty decent. I usually try to stick to Flushing, Chinatown, and sunset park for my bubble tea cravings but I was surprised they opened up a location in Forest Hills. I got a milk taro cold tea with boba. I got a large which was $4.50. It was ok. They didn't toss that much boba in the cup and the drink itself was kinda watery. I thought it was cause they filled it up with ice which but no it was just thin. Definitely had better at other locations. I'm still giving Qwikly my personal choice for best bubble tea. They offer a lot more flavors and for about a dollar less you get the same size drink. I still haven't tried any of the fruit teas at any of the bubble tea places I have been to. That is next on my list. read more

i've been dying to try this place for awhile and finally was able to yesterday. i was extremely excited b/c im a bubble tea freak...but was really let down. WAY too sweet...couldn't even drink it until i got home and added my own milk. you can also tell it's from a mix as it was chalky and clumpy on the side of my cup. made me realize how much better Fay Da's tea is, which is just three ingredients. tea, milk, syrup. read more

I would give negative stars if it is possible. I would never come back here. The man who makes the drinks is extremely rude. You guys just lost a few dozen customers as I will not recommend this place to my family or my friends. There are so many options in FH with yummy drinks and much nicer service. read more

I had a good experience with the Kung fu tea in koreatown. I ordered the taro milk tea and it was on point. I tried the Kung fu green milk tea here and it was dissapointing. It just tastes funky. read more

Best bubble tea i have tried. Definitely best bubble tea in forest hills. I have also tried numerous places in manhattan and especially koreatown, and i always compare it to this place. The service is also friendly and fast and they take credit cards for $4.50 tea (which is great when you have a bubble tea craving and no cash). Came here to satisfy my boba tea craving. I wanted to stop by while driving thru DC to get some bubble tea with the pudding but didn't get a chance. I'm so glad my sister found his place near where we were staying! I had the taro milk tea with pudding topping! Definitely hit the spot! The service was great and definitely in a hip, busy area in Forest Hills. Great service too! read more

I always come here right after eating at Munch(also definitely recommend), which is right across the street. Best bubble tea I've ever had. Better than the ones I've tried in flushing. I always get the Green Tea Milk Tea with no bubbles(because I can't have gelatin). read more

The bubble tea here was so yummy. They have many flavors, and easily accommodated some flavor substitutions that I wanted (green tea switched to black tea). They also put lots of bubbles in the drinks. They're prices are good as well. Parking sucks, it's metered. read more

I don't know if it's just me, but their wow milks taste off. Seems to me that they don't have the special sweet bubbles for the wow milk. Their wow milk tastes like there is no sugar in it. It's only this location that their wow milk tastes like this each time I order it. read more

I got the Milk Bubble Tea and was shocked at how amazing it actually was! Great spot; has seats and looks super clean. There is an option on how much ice to put but beware, if you don't ask they will jam pack your cup with ice! Definitely recommend! read more

Most recent location I've tried for Kung Fu tea. Stopped by this Kung Fu tea location one day. I barely noticed the sign but noticed the drinks passing by and realized it's Kung Fu tea. I stopped by to check it out to see if there are any differences. OMG I never knew that Kung Fu tea had hot drinks! I can't believe I can order my favorte drinks in hot! So I ordered my favorite taro dink HOT. When I got my order, they had this unique hot cup with a cool lid with a diamond cut closing thing for the mouth piece. This is the first time I've seen such a great way to keep hot drinks hot. Even starbucks don't have this. My drink home was still warm/hot by the time I reached my office at work. I went to sit down and check out the place and this is the cleanest Kung Fu place I've ever been to. The chairs and tables are squeaky white and clean. The Bathrooms looks new and clean too. Overall, it was a surprise to find this gem in this neighborhood. Most of all, I discovered that Kung Fu tea make hot drinks in my favorite flavors. I'm definitely going to return to this location for the uniqueness, cleanliness, and coolness I've discovered. Absolutely best Boba tea in class. What I like the most about this place is the house brewed tea. Most other Boba tea places simply use tea bags or poor tea leaves to brew tea and you can't almost taste the tea. The tea taste here is much richer and pairs with milk or fruit juice in a perfect way. The customer service is wonderful too. They gave me great recommendations and answered my questions about the ingredients and brewing process professionally. I was very pretty impressed about how accurate they control the timing of the brewing and quality control of all ingredients. Lol, not sure if I should order the location or the drinks. Drink-wise, Kung Fu Tea is my favorite bubble tea place in NYC area. Unlike other bubble tea places, the flavors are always the same. I am not sure why this is a problem in other places but other than Kung Fu, I would get drinks that are too sweet, too blend, too weird, or just perfect. With Kung Fu, I know what I will get every single time. I love the sweet bubbles here too. Much better than other places' yucky no taste dough balls. Location-wise, the prices are reasonable, the menus are clear and no non-sense, and the service is super fast, which is important since it can get very busy here. Place always closes at unscheduled times where Google says they close at 7 and you come they decided to close at 6 just because they didn't feel like working and they literally run out of bubbles every time im there.
