Great tea and rice ball combo :)
    Matthew O.

I had a really good experience coming here! Yes, it doesn't quite have the ambiance because it's located in a food hall with a bunch of other restaurants and shops, but service was really friendly and fast. I got the Lychee Fruit Tea and Rice Ball combo and it was delicious! Loved that the tea was not overly sweet and thought the rice balls were very well made! They have several flavors of rice balls that you can choose from, so take this time to explore your options! Would definitely come back :)

I usually get their milk tea with bubbles, and tea-based drinks from I'Milky are generally good. This time, I tried their seasonal limited strawberry mango pomelo (莓莓楊枝甘露). A large cost over $10 after tax. Even at 30% sugar, it was very sweet. The mango pomelo flavor was weak, and the strawberry tasted artificial. Disappointing--there are many better 楊枝甘露 options in NYC.

I love the milk tea! I can't remember what kind I got but it was delicious. The onigiri/rice-balls were good too. We got seaweed and pork flavor. If you are the Tangram mall I recommend eating here.

Got the mango pomelo strawberry one. Fast service. My kid preferred it sweeter. No ambiance as it's in a loud food hall. A bit dark w lots of teens.

    Mala Beef Rice Ball

I stopped by and ordered a couple riceballs after looking at the menu and chose the mala beef & spicy pork belly rice balls. They were decent at best. I wish there was more protein inside of them as there was a lot of rice and it was on the slightly more expensive side compared to other places that I've been to that serve rice balls that have more filling inside them. The meat itself was good and spicy on both of them. I didn't order a drink but the menu did look quite varied and I would consider coming back in the future to get a drink if I was feeling thirsty. I would order the rice balls again if I was in a quick pinch but I wouldn't go out of my way to get them.

Mango milk was quite creamy and flavorful; customizable with sugar level and ice content.

I recommend the i'Milky Premium Black Milk Tea. Classic and good quality tea. You can't go wrong!! Coming from California, this was one of the better milk teas I had while visiting New York. Located inside Tangram Food Hall, this is the first place that caught my eye. Cute cow-themed boba kiosk that specializes in milk drinks? Count me in! They also offer oat milk and lactose-free options, which is always appreciated. KEEP IN MIND: There is a $10 minimum for credit card. Bring cash if you're only ordering one drink.

Rice balls are great! Bubble teas are great! The service was fast. The wait was about 5 mins to get the order. I love their combo. I got to buy a drink with a purchase of two rice balls (any of choice) the price doesn't beat. I paid about $16 in total. Their drinks aren't too sweet and their boba is fresh. It wasn't hard. They were soft to chew which I loved. I had regular milk tea with oat milk and boba 30 % sugar. This place my go-to since they had their grand opening. This place is located at the food court in Tangram. You can't miss it!

    Barley Tea

Went to the I'Milky that is inside the Tangram Mall because I wanted something to quench my thirst. Decided to get the barley tea and honestly kinda regretted my decision. It was a bit bland and watered down, which I didn't appreciate because it wasn't what I paid for. The service wasn't crazy bad, but when I asked for a new straw, because my first one was cracked, it took them so long to help me because the workers were just talking amongst each other. Ambiance was very busy because it was located inside the food court, so it took forever to even find a seat. Won't be back because there are a plethora of other places to get a good drink. BLUF: A poor value. We stopped by I'Milky Flushing during its soft opening and purchased a Combo #2 -- two rice balls and a drink for $13.99. We chose an eel rice ball, a tuna rice ball, and a Strawberry Green Tea. The eel rice ball had a 50 cent surcharge, and the drink we chose added a $1.75 surcharge. With tax, we paid a total of $17.68. We were unimpressed with the combo given its total cost. The rice balls could have had more protein. There are other places that serve rice balls with a better filling-to-rice ratio than I'Milky, for less money. The Strawberry Green Tea came mixed, instead of as separated colors as shown on I'Milky's website, and tasted diluted. We asked for no ice, but it seemed that staff substituted ice with water. It would have been nice if more tea was provided, instead. Tangram Mall provides restroom facilities and complimentary VPN-friendly Wi-Fi.

Soft opening right now. Grand opening is soon, with purchase specials. It's a small stall in the new Tangram food court. Since they are short on space, the menu is limited. No coffee selections or bento boxes available. Now on to the food. Tried their rice balls. Very disappointed. There was only a tiny smear of protein. Tried the tuna corn and the eel. Both had the same issue. You could barely see any eel or tuna. Also the protein did not cover all of the rice, so there were many bites where I was just ate plain rice. And the rice itself wasn't even seasoned. Really needed to dip into the sauce to be able to eat it. These mostly only rice balls and a drink cost me, about $18. Totally not worth it. Still hungry, I had to go to one of the other food stalls to buy more food to be full. Drinks. Love it that you have full control of how much ice or sugar is in the drink. Though there are a few drinks that are set. Tried the strawberry green tea. With no ice. Drink seemed watered down and light on strawberry flavor. Flavor and aroma of green tea was good though. Still, probably wouldn't order it again. Super cute tiny keychain boba tea shaped trinkets are for sale $6.99. Servers. They were great. Very friendly and helpful. 5 stars for them. This place seems to have a huge following. Lots of people waiting on line. Final note: This is an international chain with many locations all over the world. They use natural products and premium tea leaves. They have an app where you can get 10% off, but it doesn't seem to work for this location yet. The prices seem a bit steep. There are many boba tea places around the Flushing area to choose from. This is not my favorite place.

    Strawberry Mango Sago ($~8)
    Sandy D.

I didn't think I was gonna write a review, hence the lovely blurry photo, but the drink needed to be written about. The service was friendly and respectful. We got the LIMITED edition Strawberry Mango Sago ($~8). I'm the type to fall prone to enticing posters and limited editions, yes. The drink looked very delicious in the picture, that I didn't question the taste until I drank it. This is affirmed by my bf too, but there is a very artificial citrusy, orange taste to it when I thought I had ordered a mango drink. I don't think I even tasted much strawberry. But most importantly, the drink was very artificial tasting, full of syrups. Note to self if you are to order from I'Milky, it would probably be best to order less sugar from them. This was my first time ordering from I'Milky, and I probably did order the wrong drink that doesn't give them the best impression to go off of. But I think I learned enough about their ingredients from this drink alone to rather go elsewhere for boba.

As a boba enthusiast, I always like to try new chains and then often settle on having a few favorites. I'Milky is definitely a new favorite for me and the only reason this rating isn't a 5 is because I happened to order some food (snack) from this location and had to factor that into this review as well. I'Milky makes drinks with solid tea (quality wise) and if you're a fan of the fruity variety, my mom got one and enjoyed hers as well. This location in Flushing is in the Tangram building in the food court area. This time I ordered a matcha milk tea with boba, my mom got the mango green tea with grass jelly and I ordered an eel rice ball. The drinks were both great, and even when they made a mistake (they heard green milk tea instead of matcha) they corrected my order pretty quickly. The rice ball, while alright unfortunately wasn't as great as it could have been. I do like that they had the type of packaging that keeps the nori crispy but there wasn't as much rice and it was fairly expensive for the size. In short, I wouldn't get it again and probably would stick to beverage only orders in the future from them. Love that they're starting to open more locations and that it's easier to find them when the craving hits! I'm sure I'll come back to this location and will definitely visit their other ones!

Of course, we expect the school to choose only the highest quality restaurants to order delivery from, and yes, it was quite good, considering that it was delivery that was lugged all the way from Flushing and ultimately had to be reheated in the microwave. Come this past weekend, we decided to plan a whole day trip to Flushing to visit Flushing Meadows Corona Park and eat some good Taiwanese and Chinese food. We search Yelp and we come across this place, OK Ryan. The restaurant is small and cozy, but packed a big bite. We had Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup, Pork Chop lunchbox, Oyster Pancake, Pork Intestine Vermicelli, Taiwanese Sausage, and Golden Red Bean Pancake. Everything authentic and delicious. Oyster Pancake was probably the best I've had for a very long time - it was filled with oysters, not too doughy, not too saucy. Beef noodle soup had excellent depth of flavor and the meat was tender and delicious. We ordered way too much food and took a bunch of it home. Found out that the restaurant was cash or Venmo only. So I take out my phone and Venmo the bill. But wait, my Venmo app did not register OK Ryan as a new restaurant. In fact, it said I had paid this restaurant several... times.... before. Cue the freak out. Who hacked my Venmo account to buy Taiwanese food?? OK, so obviously, OK Ryan and OK Canaan are one and the same. Good for delivery, but now we know, much better in person. We'll try the real OK Canaan next time.

We came on a weekend dinner and surprisingly there was a lot of people before 5:15pm and no one really afterwards. I think the braised pork was okay as there wasn't a lot of meat and it was a bit heavy on the fat. - Taiwanese Chicken Cutlet - I was a bit confused on first look of this chicken because they had some rick crackers stuck to the outside of it. I'm not sure if that's the way it's supposed to be but at least the flavors were spot on as it was ultimately crispy on the outside with a bit of spice and juicy on the inside. Probably the best dish of the night. - Pork Intestine Vermicelli - I've never had this dish before in the states so I was interested to see how this would turn out and it was actually a lot better than I thought. The flavors were pretty on point and the cleaned out the intestine well. I probably wouldn't order the lunchbox again, and although no dish extremely WOW-ed me, their breadth of Taiwanese dishes is pretty amazing and I will be back!

We ordered 1/2 peking duck, fried rice, chow mein (noodles), snow peas and soup dumplings. I don't remember the exact name of all of the dishes but everything tasted great. Service was good. Everyone spoke chinese but i think they speak english too lol. Parking in this neighborhood is terrible so good luck finding street parking. There are parking lots around. Would want to come again to with more so we can try a variety of other dishes. We definitely ordered way too much for two ppl this time lol Took a star off because of price.

My eyes lit up when I saw the menu. The owners are from Tainan, Taiwan which is often consider the culinary capital of Taiwan with many iconic traditional dishes and flavors. The restaurant is spacious but it does not have many table seatings (3-5 tables?). When we came it wasn't busy so we got a spot but we did see many people coming in for their takeout orders. The oldies they play at the restaurant take me back to my childhood. The place is structured very interestingly where it's an open kitchen so you can actually easily see how they prep the food in the back. We ordered: - oyster omelette pancake - mung wort kueh (4 pieces) - danzai noodle - mixed spice platter The oyster omelette was the highlight! The bottom is crispy and they use a generous amount of oysters. It's the most authentic oyster pancake I've had in the east coast. Alot of other "Taiwanese spots" don't make it correctly. I also love the mung wort kueh (hard to find places that sell this) - it's a fun snack to take to go. It's a savory mochi bun with shredded radish as the main ingredient. The danzai noodle is an iconic dish from Tainan. Its main star consists of the one shrimp and the marinated ground braised pork. Although I would prefer the dry version but they serve the soup version here. The broth tastes very clear and clean, doesn't feel like it's dosed with salt and MSG. We got the mixed platter - an iconic street food in Tainan is 滷味 (Lou Wei) which is consist of different ingredients tossed and braised in a soy-based spice sauce. They have a nice selection of Lou Wei options and the platter we got had pork belly, duck neck, tofu skin, and lotus roots. The spicy duck neck can be intimidating for those that have never had it but it is fun to eat. There are so many items on there that I can't wait to try. For first timer, definitely get the oyster pancake and Luroufan! I can't wait to come back and try more of the traditional Taiwanese dishes. They also have frozen dumplings that you can buy to go. 50 pieces for $28-$30 is a pretty good price!
