Standard experience for a Kung Fu Tea. The oolong milk tea tasted like any other KFT location, though I asked for 70% sweetness and it still tasted like full sugar. The boba itself had a good texture, nice and chewy, at least. Their boba has no unique flavor to itself though. Seating is relatively limited and the space is pretty narrow, but it looked clean. Staff aren't especially friendly or unfriendly, they're just there to do the job, which is fine. At $6.60 for a basic milk tea with boba, the pricing felt reasonable. Grateful to have Kung Fu in My backyard. They create the best Taro smoothies I've had so far. I've tried other places but They usually don't offer the brown sugar boba which I love the most of the Taro drinks. I've dashed several times and its quality is always consistent. You can choose from two sizes which are regular or large. I always get the large bc the price difference isn't very noticeable for the extra deliciousness! I think I pay about $7 plus a few cent extra for the brown sugar boba. The service and ambience is always great too! Although, I've always ordered to go I wouldn't mind enjoying My drink while there as the seating inside looks very comfy as well as the outdoor seating on a beautiful sunny day in Houston! I've also ordered the Oreo smoothie in the past for My cubs which They enjoyed too! I believe the owner is the same as the one in Chinatown (and many others in Texas), but the specific operator of this individual store is a really great guy and knows how to make Boba. It's one of the less busy KFT stores in the region, so you probably won't have much of a wait time. Energy Corridor has a very limited selection of boba, and so it's great to have a delicious major brand name here. What to get: Lemon Black Tea With Tapioca! Or: All the fruit teas are pretty good, especially if you go off menu and get black tea! Or: Go crazy and order your fruit teas with the very strong Oolong! Or in winter: Any of the hot milk teas! I love the KFT franchise, it's usually one I can find in every city! I have the app, use the rewards, and decided to try this location as it now the closest one to me. I've visited twice, usually my minimum threshold before I make a review, but I'll go for the one in Chinatown. While the drinks are good as usual and it's nice and clean inside, spacious even, but the service is severely lacking at this one. I didn't feel like a valued customer, similar to another review I've read on here. I've encountered two different employees, middle aged male and female, possibly the owners who were rude and unfriendly. This is is worlds apart from my usual KFT experiences, but then again the other locations are usual staffed with young adults. There's a muse tea, bobo tea, and bubble tea house all on the same road that are much more welcoming! read more

Yay! Another tea shop in the Energy Corridor! Apparently they just opened last week (end of September 2022), and they'll be having a "Grand Opening" soon with a possible drink promo. The cashier (or owner?) of this location said to follow their Instagram @kfteldridgehtx for updates and upcoming promos. Also, KFT has a rewards program which is on their app. So download their app to get points for every order you make. Eventually, those points will result in a "free" tea. Today, I ordered the regular milk tea (usually I get boba in my drinks but today I didn't), 30% sweet, with less ice. My drink order was quickly made, service was friendly, the tea bar where I picked up my order was clean, and my drink was 9.5/10; I prefer my 30% sweet to be even less sweet, but I know it's difficult to adjust the sweetness level of the tea to everyone's specific preference. Definitely a solid tea place in the Energy Corridor! Their hours of operation are currently 11am-9:30pm right now (or that's what's listed on Google), so I'm looking forward to stopping by here instead of driving to Chinatown to get my after dinner tea fix! read more

Rude customer service! Don't dare ask questions in regards to promotions if you want any hospitality

Finally a good boba spot in the area! I always order my usual drink which is the large Oolong Milk Tea with boba with less sugar. Can't go wrong with a classic milk tea. This is a great study spot since there is quite a few outlets around the bottom of the booth seats, and it is usually quiet. However, there isn't many chairs around (only two small tables with tall chairs). The workers are super friendly. I'm glad Kung Fu Tea is newly located in this area! I recommend stopping if you are in the area for some good boba drinks! read more

The service from the one only guy that works behind the counter is below average. No smile, looked annoyed, maybe under the weather? He was sniffling and coughing constantly. I hope he had his vaccines I ordered the Kung Fu Honey Tea and it was a surprisingly tasty light drink. A perfect dessert drink for a post heavy meal. All in all, good drinks but below average service from the solo worker. Honestly, I'm not too surprised for his attitude since it was a Saturday evening. This store will not hesitate to kill you. Either the manager or the staff have zero concerns about people with medical issues. I ordered NO SUGAR, but the staff gave me a cup of milk tea that tasted really sweet. She literally told me that even no sugar tastes sweet. I ordered another one on a different day, which turned out not sweet at all. This proved that they will lie right in your face for something they messed up. read more

I am glad there is a Kung Fu in our neighborhood because we do like their drinks but the seating setup is odd, no seats on the opposite of the tables so we can actually sit down and talk to each others. The staff (one in particular) isn't friendly, acting like he had a bad day. Be friendly, customer service is as important as your drinks. read more

The best boba tea in town! I have had others, but they don't match up to the great taste of bread boba tea here. I have tried five locations and all our awesome friendly staff great job making the drinks if they make a mistake, they're willing to rectify immediately.
