This review is for the green tea with lychee jelly, which was perfectly refreshing on a typical hot ass Houston day. I went HAM (yes pun please) with the three meat bahn mi, bUT perhaps I overdid it with the fries egg, so perhaps I'll keep it simple to a classic bahn me next time. I really like I heart Boba's jellies, poppers selection, since they are aplenty. I also sometimes like to just get a refreshing iced tea with no cream and no Boba (I know gasp)! I got the tai tea with boba, light ice, extra sugar. This is not a review of the whole place as I have only gotten one menu item. The boba was good however the tai tea was subpar. Definitely better tai tea at 85 C cafe by ranch 99, however as a white person, my parents never go shopping there, and I heart boba is right by HEB and little Cesar's making it a very convenient spot. Next time I'll try a different menu item, maybe that will be better. read more

I got a lychee green tea with lychee jelly along with their chicken banh mi & the special combination banh mi. The tea was really good, I got 50% sweetness and it was perfect, the lychee jelly had a good texture and wasn't too chewy. The sandwiches were okay, nothing to complain about, just not my favorite banh mi. The second star literally is for the cleanliness the restaurant appeared to be. Service was okay, I wanted to help the staff make drinks...they looked so overwhelmed. I had one customer before me, she ordered 4 drinks. The cashier with glasses appeared to be new or training. The other two employees were producing the orders. Remember to welcome your paying customers, oh what a warm greeting will do. My drink process from start to finish was about 10-12 minutes. I had ordered the Taro Cream Tea with coffee jelly and it was around $5+ about average pricing, my expectations of the drink were to be "drinkable", because of the area we were in. Then when I realized I was in the HEB parking lot, the expectation of drink quality was lower. My taro milk tea had a really odd lingering taste, like dirty freezer burn or unfiltered water taste. What was going on? A year later, nothing has improved. I was in the area for lunch. Contemplating on Little Ceasar Pizza and I Heart Boba, should I pack 2000 calories on a $5 pizza to last few meals or take a quick healthy snack for $4. "Give me a meatball banh mi, please." About 8 minutes later, my order was ready. A skinny package in a roomy bag got me worried. It looked skinny like a wrapped hot dog. I regretted because next 15 minutes, I was grumbling about this food while driving back to work. I don't know if it's how folks eat banh mi in this part of town, all vegetables were cooked soft. The pickled carrots Do Chua was soft and saggy. Cucumber strips were soft and slightly crunchy on the skin. Bread seemed fresh. Meatballs were tiny. At first, I was really hesitant to go when they first opened, because I didn't know how their boba was going to be. Knowing from all of my previous experiences with good/magnificent boba from the Houston Chinatown area, I was hoping that this place wouldn't ruin my expectations of what a boba drink should be. I mean think about it... you have Sharetea, you have Gong Cha, you have 7 Leaves, you have Tapioca House, and a billion other places that serve boba in Houston. And this random place shows up? I had to ask around first. After getting a good general public opinion, I decided to try this for myself for the very first time (which was about a week ago). They had a promotion special of Buy 2 Smoothies, get a Tea/Iced drink for free! I ran for it, and got the Pina Colada Smoothie, Blueberry/Banana Smoothie, and Boba Cream Tea, all with boba added. I gotta say, it was pretty good! Nice place in our local neighborhood area to get a quick boba fix. I saw a lot of good reviews for this place so my friends and I decided to Door Dash it (twice because it was actually really good). I like that they have stickers to indicate which drink is which. I am super happy that my friends live close by because I will be asking to come here more often when I'm in town. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee was good, a little watered down (could be from the ice melting on the drive home) but still good. I was definitely cracked out on caffeine until 5AM that night, yikes. Beware if you are possibly sensitive to caffeine. Peach Green Tea was SO good. The first initial sip of any fruit tea, I'm always looking out for how strong the tea flavor is. This was the perfect mix. The tea didn't overpower the peach flavor which I really loved. The boba was made perfectly with a great level of chewiness. It's super loud behind the counter, and the cashier is behind plexiglass, so I couldn't hear her at all. I doubt l'll go back because they up charge you 3.84% for using a credit card. Been in this location many times. My band rehearses down the road, so it's close by. Thai tea is my go to, but isn't very good this time. Something tastes off. But that isn't the reason for this review. So whenever you go to this location, you can enter your number In, and after 5 visits, you get a free one. This particular visit should have been my 6th, because I didn't use my free one last visit. I enter my number in to use the free one, only to be asked "is that the number you always use? I had to enter you in as a new customer." Yes, I've had this number for 17 years. I was upset, but let it go. I paid for my drink and went to sit down and wait on it. As I'm sitting there, I hear the cashier ask the girl who was behind me "is that the same number you always use? I had to enter you in as a new customer". Me and my wife were so excited when we heard this place was opening, since it's so close to us and that we love boba. We have been going here ever since they opened. I'm always trying new drinks that they have and adding boba, they have so many different add ons here I get something new almost every time! I usually get their regular Tapioca though because it's always so fresh and squishy. Highly recommend their Taro cream tea or their Viet Coffee with boba if you're itching for that bitter kick. My wife is obsessed with their green Thai tea, and I don't blame her! Last but not least, their banh mi's are really tasty too. The meat and vegetables are fresh and the bread is soft and crunchy. I usually get the bbq chicken banh mi with everything on it. Mix that with your favorite beverage of choice, whether it's coffee, tea, or slushi and you're all set! Decided to stop and check it out after work. I was looking for something quick, yummy and not too pricey. Service is quick and friendly, space is nice and clean. It did not disappoint, i had the mango smoothie and charbroiled bbq chicken sandwich, just wished the baguette wasn't so thin. Both delicious. Prices are reasonable and food is great. I've been to a different location a few times and it is my first time ordering Uber eats from this specific location. I ordered the green cream tea with egg pudding and a honeydew cream tea. My green cream tea was overly sweet and it tasted like someone put salty plums in my drink. It was gross. Not ordering from this location again. If you plan on ordering here, I would recommend doing half sugar. The honeydew was also super artificial tasting. Definitely a hard pass on that as well. read more
