While enjoying a flavorful lunch at Al Basha, I walked over to this counter for my first try of a Kung Fu Tea. I had never been to any of these new popular, trendy boba tea joints, so I wasn't sure what to order. The kid working the counter wasn't much help with suggestions, but he did fill me in on how something was made. I simply opted for a basic honey black tea, which he promptly made. That was very tasty! I'm now hooked and can see returning for more of this tea. I didn't get any toppings as none of that seems appealing to me... who knows, maybe I'll try something different next time, with toppings though. I will say they REALLY need to work on service here... appears to be a family run business along side Al Basha, as they share the same space. From reading other comments, service from the kids working here seem to be subpar. read more

First the location is very convenient... after a good workout at the nearby gyms, you can get boba They also have several tables and chairs for you to relax. The staff is very friendly and accommodating so you can reduce the sweetness of the drinks. They have a good variety. Recommend the taro slush, 30% sweet, pudding and jelly. read more

I have been here twice and like that there is a boba tea option in Stafford now. This location also has a restaurant located inside, they share the space. The employees have been super nice both times I have been. I've ordered the cocoa cream wow which is very similar to a tigers milk tea. The brown sugar boba is delicious. I moved to Stafford recently. I have had Boba from many Kung Fu locations in VA. This shop however should be avoided completely! The drinks are not properly made and taste terrible. It is often not very clean- although that may be a reflection on the local clientele, as well as the staff- and the attitude from the staff is terrible , they are lazy and entitled and act like you're the problem. The entire place should be shut down. Seems like this problem has become endemic to the entire part of northern Virginia -very low quality food, bad attitude, poor cleanliness, and extremely poor Service. This chain is fantastic. There are so many options, and the tea and boba taste great. The Stafford location is not too busy and is located by many other stores, so it's easy to stop in and enjoy a boba tea when you're on the go. The inside is clean and linked to a kabob shop. I had the coconut milk tea with boba, and the flavor was balanced and not too sweet, which I appreciated. My wife and daughter came with me and were thoroughly hooked on their drinks. I ordered an Oreo Slush that's on the menu for $5.45 and when I asked why there's an additional $0.50 charge, I was told that the price on the menu is the cost to make the drink and the add-on is for the size of my drink. Why not just include it in the menu price? This felt deceptive and to add insult to injury, the employees and manager were extremely rude and chalked it up to "it is what it is". Decided to give this place a try after a handful of people recommending it! My husband got the green tea and I got the taro slush! The green tea was settle with a very nice sweet taste! I was excited to try this place and I'm disappointed in the experience. I had asked an employee a simple question to clarify the difference between a black or green tea Taro Milk Tea, and was even more confused after her explanation. And so I chose something else to order, and after all of this, she then mentions that they are out of all their Boba and Mango Bubbles. Isn't this the whole reason people go here? I love kung fu tea! Great place for boba. Their menu is pretty extensive with classic flavors such as red bean or taro and other special flavors like cookies and cream or mango passion fruit. They have different kind of drinks like a slush or milk foam. The place is conjoined with another restaurant, it's a middle eastern fast food place. I was happy that finally they had bubble tea in Stafford. I would give 5 stars but...We have been here a few times and the drinks were pretty good. However, they never have enough of the toppings or always out of toppings you want each time we ordered. I would recommend going in and order instead of ordering thru the app. As you get there to pick up your drinks, you will be told that they are out of certain toppings and to pick another. They need to check weekly their inventories to see what is being sold more often. I know they are pretty new in the area still and will give them time. Bad service from the staff there. They also cancel Uber orders a lot with no explanations. I ordered from uber eats 4 times in total and three times was canceled. What's worse, they not canceling it when you placed the order. They cancel it 30 mins after you've waited for the order and it's crazy it happened 3 out of 4 times. This boba tea spot is literally GREAT!! Ignore all the negative reviews, they're all boba tea noobs, and want everything their way, really annoying. luckily for you, this ain't my first rodeo! This place has a welcoming atmosphere with pop music playing in the background, prices are priced FAIRLY just as any other Kung Fu Tea in ANY other location. So far, in Fredericksburg there is only TWO boba tea spots, so it makes sense why sometimes certain add ons are not available, they sell out like crazy! What makes this also convenient is there is a Lebanese food inside the same building next to the boba tea spot, so you can enjoy the food and boba! I didn't know what I was expecting when I first went here, but it wasn't this. I know that they just opened recently, but I feel like by now they should know how to make bubble tea properly. I've been multiple times and they've still yet to make a good tea. For some reason, every slush I get isn't blended all the way, so it's icy, and the milk teas are always watered down and taste like hand sanitizer! I told myself I would give them a little more time to figure everything out, but to this day I'm still disappointed. The only thing I would actually get from there are their lemonade options because everything else is just bad. Super rude attitude from the staffs. I did a mobile order one time for two drinks and came to pick them up; only one order was ready and I asked where was the second one, and the staff was confused. We received super friendly service here! And got just what we ordered from Kung Fu Tea. We're so happy there's finally a KTF in Stafford and this did not disappoint. The place is modern, spacious, and there's a restaurant inside that makes a BUSSIN shawarma, which I also don't see a lot in this area. Do not go to this location. I love the other kung fu tea locations but this one is so disorganized and unsanitary. I had a mobile order order that was wasn't ready until 30 minutes after the set time. And while waiting for my order I had to watched the workers smell the jelly. The floor is dirty. I've tried this place three times and I'm always disappointed. They either mess up my order or only one person is working and it takes forever to make the orders. read more
