I have a health condition that I'd rather smoke than take steroids. I moved to NM, very different from CA. The rules change monthly. So I have been told different regulations - you can get pot with an out of state medical card, *or* only with a NM ID and out of state Med card, *or* only with medical records *and* NM ID. I went to KURE, paid $150 for a consult. The Doctor on staff told me they needed my records. So, it was a bust. She asked if I wanted my cash back and I said no - hold onto it and I would be coming back once I got my NM medical card from the state. I went back a couple months later when I got my card from the state, and the staff at KURE told me I couldn't have my money back. I asked for the Doctor to call me, left my number - no call. I call back, leave a message - no reply. I leave an email - no response. The responsible thing for any business to do would be to have staff call or message with an explanation WHY I'm not getting my money back, an exchange of some sort or an apology. Even if you don't mean it. Fake it! Reputation is everything. Plenty of other dispensaries. Don't be fooled by the professional looking package. I suggest Best Daze on Airport Road. They're at Zia Center - a little far, but they will explain what's wonky with NM Cannibis policies, super friendly and will try to help you out when you really need answers - and weed. read more

Are my expectations too high? I expected the clerk to know the products the store sells - which ones are indica and which are sativa. She didn't. The clerk told me the difference between Buddah Tears Skywalker and Buddah Tears Tangine was flavor only. The difference is not flavor, one's sativa and the other is indica. I expected that what was in my shopping bag when I got home was the item that I bought. It wasn't. I expected that the store would make good when I made the discovery and got in touch. They didn't. I expected that the employees would let me speak to the owner about the mix up. They wouldn't. Here's the thing, if your gonna sell a mind altering substance, you need to know what your doing. You lost a customer today Kure. I have a California drivers license and recently moved to santa fe. I went to your dispensary with the intention of finding out how the rules work here. My entire experience was horrible. The lady out front (who later identified herself as the manager) said wait there (how about "good morning! Welcome to Kure, We will be with you shortly) Then I started my story and before I could the get the whole thing out she said Kure could not help me. And she kept telling me that she could not sell me cannabis, as if I was asking her to break the law. I kept telling her I wasn't asking her to sell me anything. I finally said "but I was told that you have doctors that can help patients with paperwork" she says "oh that, you can go online. Bad customer service Kure. I have been a customer with Kure for about a year now and loved it until recently and unfortunately, I will NOT be returning. I recently referred someone that just moved here and she was treated HORRIBLY by the manager. The person I referred was asking simple questions about getting a card and such. The manager had no customer service skills whatsoever and the person standing in line in front of us said the manager is usually really awful to most people. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone again, it was completely embarrassing to refer someone, and then they were treated with disrespect. read more

I love this place, they explained to me the different effects the different strains would give me. As well as I what I could expect to help alleviate some of my different aliments. Very super friendly staff I felt like I was just talking with Old friends, I will becoming back for for sure. This place they call a business is by far the most in-professional place in Santa Fe by far. The guy behind the counter kept calling my Caucasian friend "hito" and kept using words that were really extra. The lady in the back that passes the medicine to the Guy and the lady in the counter are even more extra then the guy. My buddy asks are the joints good, the guy responds with "these joints are so gooooooood I'm going to light one up as soon as I get out this building". The lady in the front over hears him and she say "Oh our pre rolls, OMG I loooooooove them". If you have ever seen the corny marijuana show on Netflix called "Disjointed" this is definitely a sister store to that. They're extra corny , very unprofessional, and the strains they run such as grape pie, orange cookies, gorilla glue, and tangie aren't grown to the expectations as far as looks or terpenes go, plus the strains belonged to a master grower they fired before opening, and have no knowledge of the backgrounds of the plants, or how to grow them properly. Sadly it's been two months since I placed an order for the cupcakes and after waiting a week I called just to be told "We haven't made cupcakes yet, but we will soon check in with us in a few days" I've left my phone number, and have yet to get a call back from them after calling and walking in on 5 separate occasions that they themselves gave me as far as times and dates went. read more

Kure is GREAT! Everyone is so friendly and helpful!! I always feel so welcomed and warm whenever I go. The staff is open, friendly and honest when talking about products. They use locally sourced suppliers and are organic. So grateful for natural medicine!!! Wish more people would give it a try! When I talk to my friends about CBD in particular, I get asked about medical cards and such. Anyone can buy it and Kure has it!!! There is a reason it's taking the natural health world by storm! Good products. Good prices and specials. I'm knocking off a few stars here because even though the staff is very friendly, they were all just a bit too scatterbrained to take seriously and not quite as professional as I'd prefer a medical dispensary to be. Some of us are truly just interested in the medicinal benefits and it felt like the staff there were really just pitching their products for the "great high" that it gives you. The whole experience felt a bit like the typical stoner stereotype (remember that SNL character "you put your weed in it"?). I have no problem with its recreational use and fully support legalization. But many of us supporters and users aren't necessarily interested in getting high. I've been to dispensaries in CO (recreational) and the staff at those places are way more professional than these guys, especially considering they're selling for recreational use. But way the CO folks spoke of cannabis was just matter of fact and professional. Whereas Kure staff seem a little too giddy and lack a certain maturity around it. So I KINDly ;) suggest they tighten up their focus and professionalism. Just my two grams.. uh, I mean cents. My other disappointment was their credit card system - every cc purchase there's a $3.50 charge. All the staff over and over emphasized "it's the credit card company, not us!" That's lame. This is the 21st century people pay with cards everywhere so quit blaming the cc service company. Either sign up with another service that doesn't charge or eat the cost yourselves. On top of that, they round up your total to the next 10th and then pay your change back. For instance, if your total is $28.50 they round it up to $30 (plus the $3.50 cc charge) and then give you back $1.50 in cash.. this is obviously so you feel obligated to put your "change" in their tip jar. read more
