My sons and I have loved having Dr. Cerone and associates for dental care for many many years. His…read moreteam is phenomenal!! I have to say that the people who are doing the scheduling and rescheduling of appointments is not up to the high caliber of professionalism and perfection of the previous schedulers. Last summer my college son's summer appointment was canceled! Appointments are hard to come by and we always appreciate the attempt to reschedule. And in fairness and to be helpful, we always cancel and call ahead if we have any changes that need to be made. I just got stuck again and have lost out on my December appointment due to carelessness. We have always booked appointments a year in advance and it's common to need to move a date when you book that far ahead. I recommend you check often if you make any changes to your original schedule AND verify appointments.

Before I start, I do want to say that the staff of this office - absolutely delightful. Very sweet…read morepeople who are very professional. Love the office - clean and respectable. After calling around to several different dental offices in the area before making my choice, I chose Dr. Cerone almost entirely based on Eric, the receptionist who was one of the most professional, efficient, and knowledgeable dental office receptionists I have ever met to this day. Unfortunately, he does not work there anymore, and unfortunately, the dental care provided did not match the care he provided. I went in to get a root canal and a crown. After receiving my root canal at a great endodontist that Dr. Cerone's office suggested to me (endodontist did a perfect root canal - endodontist was, again, suggested by Eric), I went back to Dr. Cerone's office for my crown. Out of respect, I will not name the dentist who treated me... But I will say that I made 5 EXTRA trips to this office that did not need to be made because my crown was poorly made 4 different times. I calculated, and I spent a minimum of 11 extra hours in that office that, had the crown and all the procedures been done right the first time, did not need to be spent. I am an extremely patient, forgiving person... But even I will say that 5 extra trips and 11 extra hours for a simple crown is excessive. Even then, I did not complain - I understood that sometimes people make mistakes and maybe the entire thing was not completely in their control (they send their crown molds to an off-site location). I wasn't going to write a bad review, even when I knew that this kind of treatment and care deserved one. When I requested to have a few simple fillings done out of precaution (because I did not want to go through the trouble of another root canal... surprising, I am sure) and I asked for a discount for all my troubles, they simply said no. Now THAT, my friends, is overkill. When you know the extreme amount of time and trouble that one of your patients went through for a simple crown from one of your dentists and you won't even offer a simple discount after all that... That is ridiculous. And that's saying a lot, coming from me. To top it all off, when I went to my new dentist a week or so ago, he took a look at my X-Rays and immediately asked, "Who did your crown? This is not a very well-done crown..." and proceeded to show me why. He did mention, however, that the endodontist who did my root canal did an excellent job. All of this to say - I can take people making mistakes, even multiple ones. I do believe that if the mistakes and less-than-acceptable treatment/care is excessive, the care provider should make amends or some sort of effort to placate the customer. Bad customer service and care on TOP of excessive unacceptable treatment is not okay. Period.

They are organized and wait time are always minimal. The follow up care has been stellar. All in all I highly recommend this office.

The surgery went very well, but they grossly…read moreunderestimated my insurance coverage, and thus I have overpaid out of pocket by $1400+. They also billed my insurance for 2 line items that were NOT included on my treatment plan and I have no idea if they're a legitimate charge. I have tried to reconcile this a couple of times and was told their billing department is hard to get a hold of and was not provided a number. Upon follow up, I was informed that Amar in billing would be calling me shortly. Three days and I never got a call. In addition to the overpayment, they charged $299 for a post surgery 3-month perio maintenance on my treatment plan AND billed my insurance for it. Why in world would you charge me (and bill insurance!) for a service you haven't yet provided? That should have been my first red flag because I also paid that $299 at the actual appt in July. I believe that's what's referred to as "double-dipping" on their part. I have at least 3 more procedures (sinus lift/bone graft/2 implant placements) to get things as I'd like. When I met with them last week for the sinus lift treatment plan, they calculated my insurance at $0. Zero. Nothing, when I know they will at minimum cover most of the IV sedation, even if none the surgery itself (nor did they include any credit for overpayment from April). This puts me paying out of pocket for 100% of it, thus effectively being over-billed again once my insurance covers their part. Add in a billing department that refuses to engage with patients. I fully believe this business is dishonest in their billing practices. Dr. V is a great surgeon. He really is. But I don't trust them with my money, so I am no longer trusting them with my mouth. I am already seeking a new periodontist. I encourage anyone whom has/is doing business with ToothHQ to please check your insurance EOB against their treatment plan for any discrepancies. I sincerely believe this periodontal clinic is deliberately engaging in unethical financial practices.

I would rate this dentist 0 stars if I could. Literallly issue after issue after issue. Do not go…read morehere!! I came in for a cleaning, to get a broken tooth checked out. They checked it out told me I could keep my tooth and just put a crown on it. The dental assistant was great , however the male main dentist, not so much we will get more into that later. So I came in for a second appointment. They shaved my tooth down and put on a temporary crown. After a few days I had to come back in to have them shave down the temporary tooth because it was cutting my tongue. I let them know during the appointment that my mouth was still numb on both sides and they told me it would go away. Well it took over two month due to them hitting a nerve. The dentist response to when I told him my mouth was still numb was ," well... hopefully it will come back soon." I was then told the crown would be ready in a week or two, they told me they would give me a call back when it was ready. Three weeks goes by then five weeks, so I called the dentist and they were like it's ready, and set up an appointment. Still don't understand why I had to call them and not me but not the point. I go in to get the crown on, I explain to the dentist how it hurts to eat with the crown. He told me it was probably from the temp. Crown. So I go no numbing and no laughing gas because he told me there should be no pain. He takes it off , touches my tooth once. Instant pain down my jaw. I have him numb me then he puts on the crown and I move on with my life. I did my research was still having pain it said to wait a few weeks before calling back the dentist if pain was still occurring. So still I could not eat on that side of my mouth. I call back after a few weeks go by after seeing a different dentist since I don't trust them anymore. To inform them that the tooth they shaves and put on a crown on, had an exposed nerve and it was touching the crown and there was a gap that was not bonded from the tooth to the crown. The other dentist told me to inform them since they made the mistake to have them fix it. My insurance would not cover anything new to that tooth because they already worked"fixed it". Do you want to know what they told me? There is nothing I can do for you, you would have to go to a root canal place to have it fixed. Because they don't do root canals. My insurance will not cover that tooth anymore because they already worked on it. They made the mistake they need to fix it. I'm furious. I had to get it removed now because of the damages they have caused to my tooth. Please take my advise and do not go here. They will not listen to you or give you the help you need. Go elsewhere!
