His work is very thorough, and he stands behind his one-year warranty. Roughly six months ago, he fixed my (clothes) dryer when the the motor burned out. More recently, another issue (unrelated to the motor) required his attention, and - because he is firm about his warranty - he didn't charge me for the extra cost of ordering a part or the labour involved, even though this second issue with my aging dryer had nothing to do with the first problem. I had made a mistake and tried "recharging" my wool dryer balls by throwing them in the washing…read moremachine (as a few blog posts state to do!) however, whether by user error (me..) or by actual fact (like, are you not supposed to wash wool?) 4 out of 5 of our wool dryer balls completely fell apart and basically disintegrated during the wash cycle which I did not discover until i went to move the dryerballs and towels into the drying machine. Lo and behold, our washing machine did not drain and there was wool dryer ball fluff everywhere... I was panicking! I'd never broken a washing machine before! So I took to Yelp and found Ronen's company and messaged them through Request a Quote. Ronen got back to me SUPER quickly and was actually able to come the day after I reached out to them. He did tell me there was an initial diagnostic fee, but it could be credited to the repair. Ronen came during the time window that he gave me, found out what was wrong with the machine, told me what the issue was and quoted me on the spot (we had a broken drain that needed to be replaced) for about ~$415 + tax. I really needed the washer fixed, so I agreed and Ronen went ahead with the fix. All in all, for someone to have come the next day to find the problem and fix it within an hour or two while causing as minimal disruption to our family's day-to-day, I'd say Ronen's price was honest and worth it! From the time I used Request a Quote to the time Ronen walked out of our unit, the communication was clear, concise, and very helpful. This was a very old stove in a rental property, and it did not make sense spending that kind of money to fix it. The service man arrived promptly at the time I was told he would arrive After checking everything, he was confident a good cleaning inside would solve the problem. While he had the dryer apart, he noticed the belt was cracked and had stretched over time. It was replaced. A thorough cleaning was done including sensors. The dryer is operating like new.
