Multiple customers to the gas station came in to get food/drinks and I had to awkwardly get out of their way while I waited. They were also running behind so they couldn't get to my car for at least 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. They did a good job on the car and had a detailed report plus the oil change for a very fair price but honestly I'll probably go somewhere else next time cause its just less convenient when they don't have an adequate waiting room for people getting something quick done.

A couple days after work was done I was getting a brake warning light on my dashboard. Checked the fluid and it was quite low. Topped it off and a couple days later it was low again. Turns out the two rear brake calipers were leaking. Would have been nice if Scrub A Dub had actually checked my fluid level and informed me of abnormally low level so I could have pursued the reason for it. Brake fluid was not apparent on the ground as the leaking fluid was staying on the calipers, pads, and inside of wheel. Today I went to the car wash which was relatively busy. I had an obnoxious female employee in my lane trying to upsell me a wash above the basic level I was getting for free. She's holding the list of higher level washes in my face and kept saying "3, 7 or 11? 3, 7, or 11?" just to shut her up and get rid of her I took the $3 higher-than-basic" wash. After she came back with the change, I started to move forward in my lane and she shouted "No, you don't go yet." Then told the car next to me to go. A real piece of work!

After calling 6 or 7 places, Voline fell toward the lower end in pricing, was right in the middle on timing and they are walkable from my home. I dropped the car off believing that I needed an alternator, an expense I was not planning on. I walked home. Two hours later they called me and said the car was fine. I didn't need the expensive replacement after all. That's an honest garage. I was pleased. I asked them if they could install a mirror that I had pre-purchased since they had the vehicle and the mirror was in the car. They worked me back into the schedule. Labor costs were reasonable. I paid about $150 all in; the VW dealer charges $750 for the mirror plus installation. (Note: When they quoted me the alternator, they looked at rebuilt units to save me money. Then they called me back when they did further research and discovered there were two sizes and prices. Thorough.) They were friendly and accommodating, honest and helpful. In a world of people who would take advantage, they went out of their way to do the opposite. My mom has also gotten gas here. Full service means they even clean your windows. Sadly, my car is diesel and they only have regular and premium. I will, however, recommend them to all my friends and visitors. Three cheers to Dick and the team. I'm a new regular, although I hope I don't need them any time soon.
