Visited this location on a Saturday evening and it wasn't busy at all which is great, recommended by friends this little hidden gem definitely surprised me. It's in the corner and has a small entrance. As soon as we walked in , it definitely gives industrial Miami vibes . The menu on the other hand had many things from burgers to different types of beer on tap . I tried the chicken and waffles , which the chicken was full of flavor and amazing seasonings. The waffles were just ok , a bit dry and didn't do much for the plate it self .. just got for one of their burgers - wish I did . Regardless a great location to stop by when in Miami , and try something new.
Came on a Saturday night with my friend to grab a quick bite. We had a seat at the bar and we were served pretty quickly. The bartender was very helpful. I had the pan con bistec and it was absolutely delicious sweet potato fries, and my friend had a different sandwich with absolutely amazing truffle fries. I had to steal from her. The inside is dimly lit & had music playing in the background, but not too loud definitely a great place to have a drink and good food
Ended up here for lunch and sat at the bar. Had the Lokal burger with French fries. It was good. My friend had the jambalaya, which she enjoyed. There's lots of construction on Miami Avenue so I parked on a side street. My friend parked off NW 20th Street, east of the restaurant. It was much nicer and safer than where I parked.
Their beer tap wasn't working while we were there which was disappointing, but they had a decent amount of canned options. Unfortunately, they also ran out of the can that I was drinking after I had two. We had the Po Boy and Classic burger, both were excellent. I subbed my fries for the Tumbleweeds (which are like crispy onion straws) for an up-charge. No problem there, but I did feel like the portion was pretty small. Underneath the onions they put a bunch of filler (cabbage) to prop them up higher in the dish and make it seem like there is more lol. What is even better than the food and craft beers is the lovely staff who are all super down to earth, friendly and relatable people. Kush has a divebar vibe that makes you feel like you've teleported to a different area. The eclectic decor is hilarious and gives it a super unique charm, but I wouldn't take your easily offended grandma here. Overall the atmosphere and excellent food makes it the complete package! I just wish we got to try more of the beer. :)
Every time and I mean every time I visit Miami, I will go to this place and get their burger. The guava burger is so unique so tasty. It is absolutely perfect. Three times in two days not a big drinker, but they have many different options of beer, the service is always very friendly to find a selection that you might like, and the whole of the location is very nice in the artist district .... Can you guys like somehow make a location in Michigan? Thank you. Lol
Late review ... But I came here a few months ago and still have random flashbacks about the burger I ate here. 10/10 in my book. For starters, love how intimate the restaurant was and it wasn't overly crowded when I went. At first, me and my friend weren't sure what to order. Our server recommended the Frita by Kush and she did not disappoint. The guava jelly was a delicious touch to the burger. If you are a burger lover you MUST add Kush to your list.
We tried Kush last night around 7 ish. The restaurant does have cozy patio. The barista who helped us was super pleasant. The menu is filled with salads , burger , starters , and alcoholic beverages. The salad was mediocre honestly , it was not have enough taste , I even did not taste the charcoal chicken. The alligator bites came after our main course. It was chewy and salty , but it was fresh made and caught I believe so. My husband burger came soft and juicy , he really enjoyed it , since he did not share no only one bite with me.
Stopped here for lunch. Small happening place with funny saying posted around. We had a burger and Cuban with fries. The food was nothing to brag about - just okay. Probably could find another place that would have better food and friendlier service.
I cannot believe I haven't rated Kush despite me going probably a dozen times, lol. Kush is truly a staple here. It's a vibe you can enjoy on weekends for GNO, for dinner with your partner, or for a solo meal any time of the day. As a burger lover, these always hit the spot and pack a ton of flavor. I love that even though they have a set menu, you can add/remove ingredients and almost end up making it your own. Definitely a staple if you haven't been here already... just go and Thank me later!
I was told by a friend that Kush had the best burgers! So I came to see for myself and he was right!! Although they charge $1 for water that I didn't even ask for or drink (insert eye roll emoji) lol I still give them 4 stars. We beat the crowd by going at 6pm. We were greeted and seated immediately. I wish our waiter educated us more on the menu as it was our first visit but she didn't. Luckily the menu gives a good description of what's on each item on the menu. My go-to burger spot. You really just can't go wrong at KUSH. Thus laid back spot is home to juicy burgers, friendly service and a cool dive bar vibe... oh and i can't forget top sweet potato fries in the game! I usually order the Lokal burger or the spicy chicken sandwich with a side of their honey mustard (delish!) and a local beer -- so good! Highly recommend this spot to all my burger lovers!
Dive bar vibes in Wynwood! They don't take reservations and can get busy at night. They are known for their burgers and have some of the best in the city! Even one of them (Frita) made it on a list of one of the best burgers in the USA! Not too bad for a relatively unassuming place. The Frita is well-known and pretty popular and comes with guava jelly that gives it an extra oomph. Well cooked and just a real tasty burger that's cooked well. We got it with a side of sweet potato fries and was perfect. For apps, we went with their Portobello Bites. Good flavor profile and paired with a creamy aioli sauce for dipping. Nice presentation too. For dessert, we got their Banana Cream Pie. Super delish too! It had great texture with some chocolate bites and was well-balanced. Good stuff!
Kush is a favorite spot to pop into that's walking distance for us; added bonus! If you're looking for great craft beer on tap, bar eats with a twist, and organic natural wines this is a solid spot. There's not an official happy hour, which would be another added bonus, but we typically come in that time of day for wine that is about $45/bottle and eats ranging from $10+. Our favorites are the portobello bites and vegan chorizo tacos. I usually get veggies or chips on the side, but being dairy free it makes me happy I have options to eat here. We still haven't scored their alligator bites, but know those go pretty quickly in the day due to high depend. Staff is always friendly and attentive, and the vibe always chill and laid back.

For almost two years now, we've kept passing the Kush Hospitality location in Wynwood - always telling ourselves that we should stop in and try it. After hearing that they had one of the best burgers in Miami AND one of the best burgers in the USA, we HAD to stop in. I've had alligator before, and it's typically chewy, little cubed chunks fried in a thick batter. THIS -- this was absolutely delicious. Lightly breaded, strips of tender alligator - perfectly seasoned. Obsessed!! The sauces for dipping include a creamy garlic sauce and a classic Bang Bang, spicy sauce. Both are delicious and match perfectly with the bites. Our hostess recommended dragging the bites through the Old Bay seasoning and then dunking it in your choice of sauce -- and I have to say, that is definitely the superior way of eating these. The burgers: Johnny Utah and the Frita -- both are super delicious and I can see why they are famous. The Johnny Utah comes topped with beef pastrami (a win in my books!). The Frita has Guava Jelly which gives a special flavor to the experience. YUM YUM YUM! Numerous beers, wines, and more. Tons of side options ranging from fries, sweet potato fries, coleslaw, and more. Street parking (paid) close by. Outdoor and indoor seating. Cute little dive with sweet staff and GOOD food. read more
Kush offers a Meatless Monday special for their chef featured vegetarian and vegan options. The menu offers three mains that are vegan or can be made vegan. These include the Black Bean Burger, Vegan Jambalaya, and Vegan Tacos. I got the made in house black bean burger. It was quite alright. I am a longtime vegan and not into faux meats and beyond burgers yet glad they exist and people like them. The black bean burger was easily made vegan by omitting the jack cheese and sour cream. I got it with a mix of regular fries and sweet potato fries. Veggie Burger was quite alright. Of note you are charged one dollar for a special filtered water yet get refills and is just one dollar for this service. Marilyn provided amazing customer service. I went back to have the Vegan Jambalaya and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Vegan Jambalaya had vegan chicken and soy chorizo both made in house. Recommended! read more

I visited Kush on a Sunday night for dinner, it was great because there was no wait time & service was pretty quick! We got started with the Alligator bites- pretty tasty with the dipping sauce & cajun seasoning. My friend and I tried 2 different burgers and split them. The sweet potato fries were amazing, truffle fries were just okay.. unfortunately I can't recall the burger names but both were great! I would return, but not on a Friday or Saturday as it's way too packed. Parking was also cake on Sunday! read more
The weather was perfect for a nice burger and beer outdoor so Kush it was. As a Miamian it took long enough to try this place and it did meet its expectations. I love how the beer might be here today but tomorrow they might have a whole new list. Gives you the chance to try local beer instead of a typical corona. I got one called La fresa and Kiwi (maybe) and it was sour with hints of sweetness. To eat I got the Frita burger. Nice grass fed patty with guava, bacon, Swiss cheese and the hotdog papitas. It was a different take on your traditional burger. It was very good the guava gives it a nice sweetness and paired with bacon and the crunchy potato sticks it makes it stand out. The classic burger was also a hit. fries were crunchy and not skimpy btw. The Spicy a syrup on the chicken and waffles is a must. Gives it a nice kick. Overall great meal without feeling sluggish afterwards. Love all farm to table spots. read more
Apparently, the website says that there's a parking lot, but there is not. There was plenty of street parking when I came around 1PM on a Monday though, and plenty of open tables inside although it is a smaller place. FYI - They do charge $1 for tap water and also have an automatic 20% service charge. The frita burger is indeed glorious. Get this. It's a perfect balance of meat (medium rare for us), guava jelly, and potato sticks. We got this with the cole slaw, which does not have much mayonnaise but that worked for me since I wanted something less rich. I also got a coconut cream ale, which was like a grown up version of cream soda, that I enjoyed a lot (beat culture madam blaze). And of course, the key lime pie which I have to say was much better than Joe's. read more
I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally had the chance when some friends were in town. The drink menu seems to be lacking but when I asked for a type of beer I didn't see on the menu I was pleasantly surprised they they had a good selection. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and it was okay. I liked the buns they served the chicken with, I just didn't think it was spicy at all. I don't think it was a memorable meal and wouldn't order it again. My husband got the pan con bistec and he really liked it. I guess it just depends on what you order. I don't get they hype, I've been to some underrated restaurants and was pleasantly surprised but it's always a bummer to go to one that's overrated. read more
This is a rather late review. I went to Miami a few months ago and I had no set itinerary for places to eat. I normally try to search the popular restaurants when traveling. I was told this place has alligator bites. I was so excited to try, but unfortunately it was not available. Aside from that browsing through their food and drinks menu I settled with their chicken n waffles and their cold brew which was absolutely delicious. There was something about their house maple syrup that was totally different their your OG maple syrup on any waffle or pancakes. It had a spicy kick to it & it was bomb. No wonder why it's voted as Miami's best! 10/10 recommend. Currently craving this back home in LA. Overall service was great. Would go back once I visit again. read more

Came in before heading out of state and my party placed an online order to save some time but apparently if you do that, it's only for takeout and you can't dine in. Manager quickly came out and let us know they would start preparing for dine-in. Much appreciated. At first, the friendliness was a little lacking, but after they warmed up to us. The place is super small but they have seating at the bar and outside. It's an eclectic vibe with GREAT music playing. I ordered a classic burger and it was very good! Truffle fries had and kept my attention! I would come back any time I'm in Miami & craving a good burger. The spritzerI ordered was pretty great, too! read more

The original Kush is one those places that you need to go at least once in your life. It's is very Wynwood and the decor is fun and hip. They always come up with innovative dishes. One the must try's is definitely the Kush Frita that comes with jelly and their Key Lime pie. read more
Okay so I only came here for the burgers but ended up doing a burger and a salad. The place itself is a very dive bar style with both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be really tricky since it's on a busy street you can't park on the side anywhere. Your tab will include a 20% gratuity charge but the service is actually pretty good and fast. Now let's switch topics to food. The burger was honestly eh okay. For being a burger place I was expecting a lot better by some of these reviews. Now while the burger was a disappointment the salad was not ! The better than your ceasar was actually delish! Maybe a little too much dressing but still was way better salad than I had at some of these fine dining places . They also have a nice selection on local and craft beers if you are into a nice cold one. read more
I was in the area waiting for a few friends but wanted to grab a quick bite of something I could only get in this area. I had not been to Kush in about 4 years. I remember it being very good but that last time four years ago was a bit mediocre. Thankfully, with this visit they completely exceeded my expectations and fully redeemed themselves. I didn't have to wait to be sat as there was open seating available at the bar. The service was pleasant and I was in and out in about half an hour. The atmosphere was great. Good vibes all around. I ordered the Lokal burger, medium rare. Grass-Fed Patty, Jack Cheese, Tomato, Red Onions, Arugula, Avocado, Honey Mustard. Insanely good. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The patty was so soft and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality in all of the ingredients. Even the bun tasted fresh. I chose sweet potato fries for my side. They were really good and tasted great with a side of honey mustard. 10/10 ($16) I know covid has been hard on so many businesses. A lot of my favorite places have had to cut corners to stay afloat by greatly reducing their quality and/or amping up prices. It's nice to see that Kush has been able to keep the pricing the same and continue to offer top quality food. I cannot wait to return. read more
It's been years since we ate at Kush and coming here was a bit of a flash from the past! While the prices went up a lot the food is as good as it's been when they first opened. Everything was fantastic and I will definitely be back! read more

This is an unbeatable place. I haven't visited since before the pandemic but if anything has changed is for the better. Quality of service is top notch, the eclectic ambiance and the food. Oh Lord, the food. I tried a new burger called "french onion burger" which was not written in the menu yet but my server recommended as a new item. Sweet Baby Jesus! The best burger I've ever had in my life (and I'm a burger person so this should not be taken slightly). 20000% recommended. read more
Let's be straight and to the point. 5 stars for their Frita burger and 3 starts for their French fries. I could not help but be disappointed on the fries (soggy) and every burger needs awesome fries . Having said that, the flavor of the Frita was unique and delicious , the touch of guava complimented the meat like you wouldn't imagine. Props to the creator! On another note they have an ample selection of beers and a rotating tap and for those who aren't afraid of the heat there are several tables outside . We visited on a Sunday afternoon and sat outside on the benches. The place is located at the edge of Wynwood, so don't be taken aback by the surroundings- you're good. Parking was in an unmarked lot right next door. The space seemed small and had more of a bar/ up like feel inside, so with the kids, we felt more comfortable on the outside benches anyway. Service was very good. Our waitress was extremely professional and very sweet. She knew all the menu items and started off right away with letting us know what the favorite items were. Our party ended up trying the following : - Chicken and Waffles- good but slightly soggy on the batter. The seasoning and sauces were great. -Frita- highly recommended. Very unique taste in a burger. Love the guava. Ordered mushrooms on the side, which was also good. - Spicky Chicken - good but nothing particularly special. The fries were very well seasoned- seems like it had a hint of five spice. -Lokal Burger- well seasoned and always a reliable burger option. Overall, we had a good time and found the food tasty. You can also enjoy people / car watching along the streets. read more

I'm not a huge burger fan but I had visited the Tobacco Road location and tried Kush Hospitality's Frita burger and it was incredible. I woke up craving it and decided to visit Kush. I had been meaning to visit since it is so close to where I live and knowing they also have the Frita burger got me to go. We sat outside and had great customer service. They extremely doggie friendly and offered my Bruno some water as well. We had our burger with sweet potato fries which were delicious as well. I also had the Kaptain Kush which was very refreshing on a Miami summer afternoon. read more
The food is amazing nothing we didn't love. The burgers are the stars of the show. My burger had a slice of guava that truly embodied the sweet and savory highly recommend. The gator bites and bang shrimp were awesome appetizers as well with good portions the size of entres. Servers were nice and attentive. Good moody ambiance even during the day. read more

I usually park on NE Miami Ct off 20th street. Only a block or two of walking from there.
Does this place serve Nitro beer?
I've seen them have an option or 2 when it comes to nitro beer.
Do they have vegetarian options?
I think they have a mushroom burger that instead of a meat patty, its a large thick mushroom slice...either that or Eggplant...one of the two.
Is the food made with recreational substances? lol
No they are not even though the name Kush makes it seem like they should have.
Do they have happy hour?
I was there last week from 3-6pm. If they did, it wasn't advertised or promoted.
Does this place have bottomless brunch?
No Its a gourmet Burger n craft beer spot.
