Other businesses such as Burger Services, Square Pie City, and Super Good Chicken all launched from the Wynwood market. In 2021 The market closed when it was turned into 180 residential units. BoxElder is now back on the the second floor of Julia and Henry's. You can find it near the stairs opposite the Key lime pie vending machine. It is one of three bars in the food hall. I read about their sour watermelon that I wanted to try but instead they had Rainbow Sherbert, a sour ale with raspberry, pineapple, and orange. I would normally pick a cocktail over a beer but I loved the one I tried here. The fruity tang imparted to the beer made it very refreshing. The market also still lives on in this location. They have hot sauces, dips, and seasonings on display which you can pick up and pay for at the bar. If you are a craft beer fan you will definitely want to stop by during your visit to Julia and Henry's.

Make sure to check them out. Drinks are not watered down but always well-balanced and potent. My go-to is their Old Fashioned, of course, but I have a new favorite called Urban Cowboy. It's made with Maple Bacon Infused Maker's Mark, vanilla cinnamon syrup, bitters and cedar smoke. So good! I also recently tried the Red Flag made with Cazadores Blanco, lime, agave, strawberry-infused Aperol, and topped with bubbles. So refreshing and tasty. You cant go wrong with any of their cocktails. The mixologist knows what they're doing and as a matter of fact, this place has won several competitions during SOBEWFF. Put a super awful taste in my mouth and really there are people in this city who probably need jobs and could carry tables and be polite. It may sound minor, but the fact someone couldn't say sorry and then made up a story to excuse himself for his carelessness was uncalled for. Treat others with respect. Eventually, I found them at another event (Taste of the Nation) and saw it in BOTTLES. So happy to say that very soon they'll be opening a brick and mortar in Wynwood. In the meantime, I've been able to find it on tap at spots around town like American Social. At a recent event, Gravity brought their cortadito coffee porter to sample. I'm not a porter fan but guests LOVED it. I'm happy to see that their menu will feature a wide range of styles from IPAs and and red ales, to the emerging sour varieties (which I also still need to warm up to). To top it all off, owner Diego Ganoza is one of the nicest people I've ever met! He's excited to bring his brews to the people of Miami and we are definitely lucky to have him.

Service was okay too, pretty slow when we were there. Beware: there is an automatic 18% service charge that is added that the bartenders do not tell you about. On top of that, the payment screen will ask you if you want to leave a tip (on top of the undisclosed 18% already added). Not just that, the service charge is listed as an item and you are taxed on the 18%. They just need to be more transparent and tell their customers about the automatic service charge.
