I've always wanted to try this place ever since I saw someone post a TikTok on it months ago! Even though I tried Jolibee's, this was first time trying real authentic Filipino food! It's also better because I went with my sister and friend! When I came in, it was a nice small place along with the Puerto Rican bar playing their music! I couldn't stop bopping to it! There was the food they served buffet style along with snacks and a very small stand of Filipino products on the right! The food was delicious and filling. Certain foods I wanted to try were the Garlic Rice and Lechon (which are only available weekends) were sold out. At least I got myself the Pork Adobo (which I wanted) and the Bistec (Beef Steak)! I also got the Puto Cheese because it looked so good! The service was great as well especially when we needed help to park our cars and asked about the place! I was so excited to here that we finally had an authentic Filipino restaurant so I had to try. When you come in, it is connected with the Puerto Rican bar and restaurant (forgot the name) so there is a whole cultural vibe in the building. However, it was very simple and authentic inside there (nothing too wild). The service was nice and made you felt like community. Even a woman (most likely one of the owners) was very a beautiful tradition Filipino dress WHILE SERVING! I wasn't expecting good food in Harrisburg but was pleasantly surprised. You can order dishes individually, but most people will get a platter, I got the pancit, squid, and chicken soup dish. All the proteins were tender and flavorful. I also ordered the lumpia and lechon which were crowd pleasers. The owner was nice enoug to check up on all of us and gave us free banana eggrolls which were perfectly cripsy and not too sweet. If I'm ever in the area I would return. OMG. This is the place for Filipino food. I hadn't had real Filipino food for a long time because there was nothing in the area. Kusina De Isla filled that gap. I actually at there twice in about a week and I can't wait to go back again and again and again . . . it's like eating at my Filipino friends' houses back when I was younger In a world full of flavorless pancit, this is perfectly balanced. Just enough flavor. Not just boring noodles. The dinuguan is amazingly spiced. It's smooth, rich, savory, and just slightly acidic. It was the best I ever had. Truely. The lumpia is perfectly crispy The pastry o the ube turon crackles apart under the sticky sauce holding the sesame seeds on the top. Both types were excellent. The chicken adobo was sooooooo good. The combo meal comes with a drink (like a can of soda) and is easily enough for two meals. The halo halo is perfect. It's about $18 for the three item combo (which can be two meals for a light eater). The halo halo runs (if I remember correctly) about $10. TWO THUMBS WAY UP. If you've never eaten Filipino food, they are very helpful and will answer questions and make suggestions. The dinuguan is not as scary as it sounds - everyone who tries it likes it. And the halo halo is a great dessert. I do recommend you do the halo halo in the restaurant. I did once get it to go but it isn't as beautiful (still tastes good - but the presentation is stunning in the restaurant). read more

Hospitality and service is amazing! We had never tried Filipino food before and the staff was so helpful with describing everything and giving our group a taste of all the entrees. Then you order from a buffet style case and boy do they give you huge portions. They have a bar at the front of the restaurant where you can order drinks and bottled beer. We went on a Sunday evening at 6pm (they close at 7pm), the tables were still packed, there was a line, and the chef was still bringing out fresh food to take care of everyone (this is served turo turo style). First up #1 rated by the family: the dinuguan. Look, I know what you're thinking -- "pork blood stew?!" But trust me, it's basically the goth cousin of chili. Dark, rich, tangy, and comforting, like a Lola giving you a big hug at the end of a long school day. They had garlic rice paired with it. The pancit can be described as pure noodle magic. Fresh veggies were crisp and just the perfect touch of garlic. Slurping it made me want to sing karaoke immediately -- but I spared the restaurant my drowning cat sounds. Then there's the pork belly. Oh my goodness. Crispy outside, soft inside, and clearly engineered to make you forget your gym membership exists. This is not just food, it's a delicious personal betrayal of every diet I've ever attempted. The details are really what impressed us. There were 6-7 types of sauces to take with your meal. The toyo mansi with hot chili was perfect with everything. Go ahead. Try this place if you're craving Filipino food. You'll thank us later. Note: They do catering. Finally, authentic Filipino food in the Harrisburg area! Buffet-style and served to you, everything we tried was delicious and tasted like home cooking (tried: lecton, garlic rice, spaghetti, lumpia, chicken adobo, pusit, chopsoy, halo halo, gulaman, etc.) They have daily specials, plenty of bulk options you can buy. We can't wait to go back for the bakery desserts (esp there ube options)! Building says another restaurant though (since they're still new), was also glad it wasn't in the sketchy part of Harrisburg... free big-lot parking and cute mural at the back of the building. Best food in Harrisburg. Everything was delicious and the staff was so friendly. If you need a quick to go lunch, this is the place.

We came here for lunch today with my Filipino aunt and I was definitely impressed. First impression was that the place was clean. Good seating. A lot of food options! I got half garlic rice which had pieces of longanisa and half of pancit, then side of longanisa and the beef steak. And the lumpias as well. As a non Filipino I really enjoy the food. I probably wouldn't get the pancit again bc I think it lacked a bit of flavor. But the garlic rice stole the show for me. I think the owners name is Nicole? I might be wrong but she was so so nice! She gave my son the ube ice cream for free which she makes in house! It was delicious! Then she gave him brownies! And also some calamansis that her sister sent over from California! So hospitable and kind! Literally felt like we were eating at a friends house. There was another chef too who was so friendly. Over the service was really good, food was good! Will be back!
