My fiancé and I keep on going back because it's amazing. We love Basil Leaf! The crispy chive cake gahhh incredible. Love the yummy sauce. And the massaman curry was so so good--had fresh pineapple slices even hidden in the curry! Great portions, beautiful ambience. Service was excellent as always.

Ambiance : this place is very quaint and small but perfect for intimate conversations. Very clean and I love the color scheme it definitely adds to what they serve Service: I love the staff soon as you walk in they knew how to address you and the waitresses were very knowledgeable and the food they were able to recommend options and they were courteous to keep checking on us throughout our stay Food: now the food is amazing and very flavorful they didn't miss a beat on the seasonings I eat Thai food very often so it was very pleasing to come to this place and taste real authentic Thai food. I wanted to try everything on the menu. My favorite was the chicken satay it was done to perfection and the peanut sauce was a great addition and I believe they sprinkled a little lemon zest on it. I would definitely be back and I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting Quick Service Professional Service in great eats

This place blew our minds with how amazing the food was. We tried the brussel sprout salad and chicken satay to start and were amazed. The brussel sprouts are a must try- they are crispy with a soy vinaigrette. The entrees were even better and the portions were huge. The staff was so friendly and even brought us a complimentary dish to try. 10/10 food and ambiance. We will be driving back from Lancaster for date night!!!

The food was so good I HAD to leave a review on Google on the very first visit here. I tried the Panang Curry and the Red Curry (along with Mango Sticky rice both times). Absolutely Delicious. Good presentation, good ambiance, good service, good attention to detail. What more do you need?

The service was fast and professional, the owner came by to give recommendations which is appreciated. The Pad Thai EW was extremely tasty and highly recommend, had the spring rolls for appetizer and they are filling. They have plenty of seating and approximately spaced. I say drop-in and try it you will enjoy

Ah! We went again and I can't believe this place isn't more busy. Got the drunken noodle and it was GREAT! Everyone who works there is so nice and it's so clean and inviting. Def recommend eating in or take out.

This place used to be a 5, but sadly the Pad Thai was nearly inedible. It was dry and the flavor was not very good.

If you love authentic Thai this is as close as it gets. I have not found another Thai food experience in Central PA that is this good.

The standout dishes were the crab fried rice and chicken dumplings--the fried rice was packed with flavor, while the dumplings were incredibly tender and practically melted in your mouth. The spring rolls were also excellent, and both the pineapple and vegetable fried rice were well-executed and satisfying. The only miss for us was the Thai tea, which was a bit sweeter than we prefer. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it an enjoyable place to linger over lunch. Service was friendly and accommodating, though it was noticeably slow at times. The restaurant seemed a bit short-staffed and can get quite busy during lunch hours, which likely contributed to the wait. Overall, a very enjoyable meal with several standout dishes that I'd happily order again.

When I arrived to pick it up, the restaurant was clean and cozy; it would be a great spot for a date. The last time we dined at Chalit was at their previous location; it's been years. I always got pad thai in the past and wanted to have curry this time. I forgot that green curry is the spiciest when I was trying to decide between yellow or green. It's been years since I got to eat curry and at least a decade since I looked into the traditional heat levels! So, green curry is somewhat hotter than I typically choose but this was so delicious. I had it with their special brown rice - it's been so long since I dined in at the old location that I can't remember what makes it unique, but it is delicious with a wonderful tooth to it - it was perfectly cooked. The chicken was tender and eggplant is quickly becoming one of my favorite vegetables. I highly recommend green curry with special brown rice at Chalit.

AnneMarie actually remembered us from last year and came out to check on us several times. This time I had the veal saltimbocca, the Mrs. had the crab cakes, and the son had the shrimp and pasta. All of these were the best we've ever had. In my humble opinion AnneMarie is the best chef in the world and one of the kindest people on this planet. She had even written a happy anniversary card for us. Our server, Fotini, was excellent as well. Friendly, professional, and took very good care of us. And dessert, gadzooks! AnneMarie put the raspberry cheesecake on a large platter and spelled out Happy Anniversary in the raspberry sauce (see photo). The son and I had the peanut butter oreo pie. All are fantastic. I'd give her ten stars if I could. I cannot recommend Thea enough. If you visit Mechanicsburg you've GOT to dine at Thea. The best food and the best service.
