Best dental office I have been to! Dennis is the best dentist ever, very professional and patient.

Ugh I hate the dentist so I already have high anxiety going to any and all appointments, I change my dentist with every appointment so it speaks volumes that I've been here twice lol Parking was so easy, head towards the small area near CVS. They check your insurance prior to going to everything should be squared away before you check in. First appointment was X-rays and cleaning, very nice, I didn't feel uncomfortable at any point and I've been to other offices where the X-ray tab things are placed wrong and it causes pain or makes me gag and when they're cleaning and they don't pay attention and you get a pool of water and it's just uncomfortable but this was pretty good so I know I'll be ok next time. But again since it's been while between appointments I had to get a procedure so they made an appointment for the week after to get that done. Overall that was pretty ok, I got sweaty and wanted to run away but Dr Kuwaye was calming and explained things as it was going on and assured me I was doing ok. He has steady hands and they work well and fast which is what I like. My friend said her dentist has this oral rinse to numb the mouth which is something I wish they had and another dentist that I went to had non-drilling tolls so virtually pain free cleanings and without that agonizing drilling sound. read more

Best dentist experience I've ever had! Finding a dentist that knows how to talk, explain & understand their patients needs & concerns is near impossible to find. And thank goodness I found Dr.Kuwayne! He has all the great qualities all these offices lack! I looked for days and weeks trying to find the best rated dentist and I saw many comments about patient care being really good so I gave it a shot and this will be my permanent go to place! His genuine personality and care really shows through his staff as well, they all have great attitude and also very understanding. Last dentist I went to in Monterey Park, the staff were so rude, fighting with every patient and raising their voice at their patient, including myself! I was trying to get a very bad root canal done and the previous office kept getting upset because I kept telling them I was in pain AND they kept sending wrong information to my insurance! As soon as I went to Dr.Kuwayne's office, his staff was very welcoming, friendly & understanding. They took me in and let me know they were going to try to help me temporarily while THEY handle my insurance and dealt with letting them know i was moving to a different office. After going to the same dentist for over 30 years, he decided to retire. Though I had several referrals and recommendations from my previous dentist, family, and friends, I decided to research online and saw Dr. Kuwaye's website. I hate to say this, but I am SO Grateful I needed a new dentist! Dr. Kuwaye is AMAZING and the staff are Awesome! Having experienced only a very "simple" office environment for decades, I have to admit, I initially felt intimidated by Kuwaye Dental's "high tech" office. The equipment, setup, floor plan, and design of this office were obviously thought out and calculated to ensure every space is utilized for efficiency. Dr. Kuwaye's knowledge, honesty, and how he communicates his professional opinions are extremely appreciated. I have been coming to Dr.Kuwaye's office for 2 years, and it has been a great experience every time. He has exceptional staff that are super friendly and a clean office. Each dental chair is equipped with a tv and Netflix so you can watch it while getting your dental work done. Dr.Kuwaye is funny and very easy to talk to. He explains his procedures thoroughly, and always makes sure to check on you if there is any discomfort during a procedure. I had my elderly neighbor visit his office because he had dentures on that he couldn't remove and was in pain. Dr. Kuwaye was able to fix the dentures and provide relief for my neighbor, he was extremely happy. Thank you to the staff for being patient with my neighbor, as he can be a grumpy man and forgetful lol The office is towards the back corner area of the shopping center, with plenty of parking. My last few dental experiences were NOT even close to being remotely as good as my time at Kuwaye Dental. Being able to joke around with the Doc while having The Office play in the background certainly breaks all the tension. This isn't Fantasyland with rainbows and unicorns, there will be times of pain and discomfort, but the Doc is impeccable when it comes to communication, when to move aggressively or when to move at ease. So as a patient, you understand exactly what is happening and nothing is a painful surprise. On top of that, the Doc is a realist and isn't the type to lecture you on your bad life decisions. Things happen, and it is what it is. But what he will do is get your teeth back to health and work out a game plan so that you come back with the same smile you just walked out with. I LOVE this dental office. The staff is amazing, the doctor is really nice, and this is the first time in my whole life I am not afraid to go to the dentist. He's very gentle, so much that I started to bring my 7 year old daughter to him. The office is very clean, and staff is very professional.
