Then she was so sloppy with the application of acrylic half my fingers are stuck to my nail and was soo thick it wasn't even close to the shape I wanted to begin with. I had beautiful, almond shape nails before coming to this place. during manicure they broke one of my nails so now it's Shorter than others, and they made a cat claw nails instead of almond shape. They only no round and square shape. For my pedicure she only put one coat of nail polish with out the top layer and charge me $30 for incomplete paddi. During manicure I had to point several times what had to be clean and had to explain that cutting cuticles and extra skin must be done before they apply any polish on my nails. In the end, they charge me 100 bucks for incomplete pedicure and broken nail, wrong shape, and horrible quality of deep in powder manicure. read more

Kind service and good foot massage but NOT worth a $50 pedicure. She didn't file my toenails and barely cut them even though I told her to. I had to tell her again to cut one of my nails which was shaped like a triangle. Nail polish was not smooth. Will not being going back there. This place is hit or miss on the service you'll get. All depends on the technician. Older gentleman does a ok to good job. Can be a little rushed with the scrub and massage. The young guy is not good at all. Maybe he was having a bad day but he couldn't care less about my experience. Cold water for foot bath no salts added. Did what he wanted on the shape even after telling him. He hardly cut cuticles, foot scrub was a joke, little leg massage and polish application was truly lacking. He begrudgingly did my "no polish" mani after trying to get the young woman to do it. Maybe because I selected basic mani/pedi options that I didn't get the top service? My friend had the young woman who she said did a good job. We had an appointment, the place was empty when we arrived 15 minutes early they acted annoyed. read more

Not what it used to be. Maybe new owners? Older gentleman tried to do my pedicure. Rushed through it. My feet soaked (with no jets) for maybe 5 minutes!! Chairs don't work. So no back massage and I was stuck in a very laid back chair. Uncomfortable from the very beginning. Every color I picked they didn't have any more. The third one I finally settled on was old and clumpy. He kept adding acetone to thin it out. I finally spoke up and said I was not happy at all with the polish, it was streaky and clumps were on every other toe. Another woman stepped in and picked a similar color out and redid my polish. They look okay now. Thankfully, I cancelled my manicure. 2 stars was only for the nice woman that came to my rescue!! 5 hours and $110 later ... I Visited the salon for the first time to get a full set / pedi and the experience was for a never returning. the older gentleman took me ... I tried to be very patient and had just considered staying for a pedi after being cut several times but my gut told me to give them a chance I was already there! The salon is a bit pricey for what is offered. I have been here three times (once back when they had CND/shellac) - not sure if they changed owners but I feel that they have gotten cheaper products but still charge the same. I have gotten 3 gel manicures (one winter '14, 9/17 and today 8/18 and in 2014 got a pedicure at the same time). They do take a long time and when I got the pedicure the older gentlemen who did my nails cut my big toe SUPER uneven I was not happy and am hesitant to get a pedi here again but maybe with a different tech. The ladies who have done my Manicures have been good and they have had good lasting power. Today she cut my nails shorter than I wanted but I love the color and she took her time with everything so I tipped well. I wish I knew the names of the women - the first was excellent and the second and third mani may have been the same person. I also seem to always go when it's not busy so not sure how many people they have on staff. I recommend this place if convenient but it's not the best service/selection. I chose Viki because she was so highly praised on Yelp. The reviews were not wrong. I am a very nervous client because I have so many bad experiences. She took her time, was very kind and patient with me. Vicki did not cut my cuticles or scrape my gel off, as I asked. To remove gel after soak, she used a nail file. I got a little abrasion from the file, but nothing to complain about. The only thing is the pedicures are very rushed. But, I went back there for an acrylic fill just 3 days ago and I am very disappointed. The polish is completely uneven and it's chipping all over. I usually wait 3 weeks in between each fill but I feel like I need to get my nails done again right away because they look so bad. What a waste of money. Last week I had a pedicure at KV and attempted to use my gift cards. I had $140 worth of gift cards I was gifted from my mom a few Christmas' ago. When I went to check out they said they could not use them because of a new owner (same business name) and took them from me and asked for different payment. I requested them back and reminded them that these have already been paid for. My pedicure was $50. The guy proceeded to take my $100 gift card and said they would honor it one time ...so basically I'd be paying $100 for a $50 service and left with a $40 useless gift card. I asked for my $100 card back, gave him the $40 gift card and proceeded to pay the rest, and tip on venmo. I will continue to attempt to get my $100 refunded. Horrible customer service. read more

came here on Sunday to get a pedi and gel w a wax, and got a nail infection that Wednesday - I have been here before , no issues, but had a feeling it may be dirty. Didn't listen to my gut, ended up with an infection and out $62. Ended up at urgent care on Wednesday night and Friday for the pic procedure. I hope they are cleaning their products throughly and not doing a halfass job. Not sure what is going on- but felt compelled to share. If I could give it a 0, I would . Such a horrible experience. I gave this nail salon 2 chances. The first time, I got an acrylic fill in. My nails we're lopsided and the acrylic was put on unevenly. There were bubbles and bumps all over my nails. The nail polish started to chip after 5 days. The second time, I got an acrylic removal and manicure. He did not soak them off like I asked. Instead he used a nail clipper which hurt so badly. I had to tell him to stop several times because I was in pain. He then rushed the manicure part. I'm a New Yorker so I LIKE to receive a service fast and straight to the point. However, this manicure was done fast and sloppy. I will never return here again although I live 2 minutes away. I will say it seems as though they give great pedicures. As most of the clients were there for pedicures. I wouldn't know though. read more

If I could give this place a negative star I would. It doesn't pay to make an appointment because they take walk-ins that come in after you've checked in for your appointment. Once you're in they completely ignore you but they will answer the phones And talk to each other. I've asked for specific technicians when I've made an appointment and never get them.
