I recently moved to Ohio and found this location to be in network with my insurance. I booked my appointment months in advanced only to be told about a week before my appointment that they do not have any hygienist on Thursday and I would have to reschedule for either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. I do not know what kind of business they think they can operate with selective hours of operation! What kind of business is closed on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday! I hope their customers do not have any emergencies during those days or they will be waiting until Monday! read more

After being told by another dentist that a cracked tooth was not salvageable and being given an expensive treatment plan for an implant, I stopped by Dr Kvitko's office for a second opinion. He and his staff stayed late to perform a complex root canal procedure that saved the tooth. It has been my experience that Dr Kvitko is a caring, conscientious master of his craft. read more

Two comments. One not so good. first: 4/22/2020 excellent: newly hired Dr Pagano has excellent moral code. His work is of high quality & professional. Haley, His assistant was also excellent. Second: Not satisfied & why: I have/had been a patient of Dr Kvitko for about five years. My reason for choosing his practice was because of cosmetic dentistry. I would rate my improved smile a 7 out of 10. I'm disappointed because my upper front teeth are just a bit off-center. And I still have what he calls an "upside-down smile." This means when I smile my bottom teeth show more than my top teeth. About a year ago one of my veneers (eye tooth) fell off while flossing. Dr Kvitko got me in immediately and reset it! Yea! (it was not broken). However, it cost me $145. Just last week that same veneer fell off while I was chewing ( biting into an apple for example). I was able to have it reset in a reasonable timeframe. Yea! HOWEVER, there would be a new charge of $145: their policy is a 30-day guarantee! SERIOUSLY? So thankful for Dr. Kvitko. My 80 year old Mom fell yesterday and her mouth hit the corner of a bench in her garage. Her lip was cut and two of her front teeth were partially knocked out. She went strait to her general dentist, he couldn't help her, he sent her to the ER. They stitched her lip, but could do nothing. I called Dr. Kvitko. He saw her as soon as we got there. His amazing asst. took an X-ray and made my mom comfortable. Dr. Kvitko, numbed my moms mouth and put her teeth back in place, and placed a orthodontic brace to hold them while they heal. I can not express my gratitude enough for Dr. Kvitko and his team. They have been the nicest group from the very first phone call I made to the office to my latest appointment. Over the years I have seen several dentists from Florida to Ohio seeking treatment for my gummy smile and to have my veneer replaced. I was met with disappointment after disappointment. I was a patient of Dr. Voss's (previous owner) and now 3 years Dr. Kvitko for almost 20 years. Showed up to my appointment at their Arlington Location and came to a locked door after calling they demand that i go to the Clintinville location which I have never been to. I asked if we could reschedule since that's out of my way and I have limited time but they refused. The very next day I received a bill for no show. They said they gave me a chance to come to other location, and told me they called me and told me that they no longer practice at Arlington location. Now I have switched dentist. read more

I've Bee's patient of Brian Kvitko, DDS, since 1988. The level of service and care and professionalism provided by Dr. Kvitko has declined over the years. He places profit above patient care. He left cement on the two crowns he seated 1/26/21, caused excruciating pain when injecting Novocain into the roof of my mouth on 1/26/21. Was not available to answer questions after either procedure, 1/8/21 or 1/26/21. Never called to see how I was feeling after either procedure, 1/8/21 or 1/26/21. The oral sedation made me vomit after I returned home on 1/8/21. I told him; he never apologized for anything- not pain, discomfort or the inconvenience of having to return to have cement scraped of my two crowns. But his office contacted my bank 1/8/21 to make sure I had the $3, 300.00 plus check I wrote on 1/8/21. I will never return to this dentist. There are better dentist in Columbus Ohio and I'm going t find one. Thank you. read more

I came in last year to have a routine annual cleaning. I saw Dr. Beck for my cleaning and to have a few cavities they detected taken care of during the visit. Dr. Beck was wonderful. He was very kind and gentle. They said I would need all of my wisdom teeth removed under IV sedation and only Dr. Kvitko could perform those procedures. After speaking with Kvitko, I felt assured that he was very knowledgeable and experienced. He seemed very well versed and boasted how his practices were different than other typical dentists (especially in that he wouldn't use temporary stitches because they weren't as good as ones that don't dissolve). We booked a date for the removal. I went in early in the morning. He came in quickly and didn't offer to go over any concerns or questions with me. I figured it wasn't a big deal since the general information I was aware of and I figured anything else I would go over during my followup for stitches removal. They administered the IV sedation and I was out. I came to fairly quickly to Tony whom assisted me out to the car. My healing went well. My swelling went down quickly. I didn't have any redness or abnormal discharge. I took much care in ensuring that I didn't get any food trapped and did many salt water rinses. I went in after a couple days to request the strings be trimmed on my stitches since they were left too long and I was trying to avoid biting them. They trimmed them and I was on my way. When I went in for my official followup to have the stitches removed...it was the worst experience I had ever had. I was placed in a room and waited fifteen minutes in the waiting room before being taken back to a room. Then I waited another 30 minutes before he came in the exam room. Dr. Kvitko came in and didn't even wear a mask for a large portion of the exam. So, I had to bear through his breath. He also didn't ask how my recovery was or any concerns. Just wanted to get down to business and didn't have consideration for the fast rate at which he was moving. He pulled at the sides of my mouth aggressively all through the process. I've never experienced that with Dr. Beck. He removed almost all my stitches but when he got to the last lower side, he began to struggle. The stitches were almost stuck in my gums and he continued to have issues cutting/pulling them out. The scissors sitting on the tray he used were dull so he had to get a replacement pair. My mouth was throbbing and really painful. Finally, when he did succeed, he quickly said goodbye and ran out the room. My face was red and I was upset.The assistant just uttered to take some ibuprofen and said her goodbyes. I quickly walked out to the front, confirmed I didn't need to pay any fees, and left visibly alienated. My face was already increasingly swollen. I assumed this was normal since he was so aggressive. However, by the time I got home, my cheek was three times the size and burning hot. Later that evening, it started discharging pus. I called and they prescribed me more antibiotics which I took and once done...my face inflamed again and started discharging. So I went back in and they took scans. They found a cavity that they missed and, at first, he tried to brush off what was going on saying that perhaps my cavity caused it which made no sense. He then later dismissed that. However, Dr. Beck came in and took care of my cavity for free for missing it at my cleaning (which I appreciated). He was of course very gentle during the procedure and even took me to raise my hand up if I started to feel pain or the numbing wearing down. Beck finished. Kvitko came in to reopen my wisdom tooth area to see what was going on and to scrape it so it could start the healing process over. I was still numb from earlier so he didn't give me more numbing. Of course, he continued pulling at my face aggressively. I shrugged it off knowing it'd be over soon. He scrapped my gums vigorously to ensure it would heal again and confirmed no food was trapped. He said he wasn't sure why it happened and it's just one of those mysteries. Then as he went to re-stitch the area (this time using dissolve stitches - because apparently his stance on them all of the sudden changed)...all my numbing wore off and I felt all the pain from the gum scrapping, cavity procedure, and his fingers stretching my mouth at once. My eyes welled up and my nose got runny and I still had water in the back of my throat that he didn't completely suction out from earlier. I started to cry and couldn't breathe since my nose was clogged. Kvitko instantly freaked out, dropped the needle in my mouth, and berated me like a child. "Pull yourself together, Stop crying, There, I numbed you again"...he also screamed at me when I raised my hand in pain thinking I'd grab his arm when I just wanted to signal I needed him to stop a moment. He, of course, left the room quickly upon completion. Awful service. read more

Dr. K has been my dentist for well over 16 years now! He's taken my wisdom teeth out, fixed TMJ, and set me up with a no cavity track record for the entire time! Just to be totally fair, Dr. Kvitko called me several times AFTER my three-way call with his office staff/billing dept and my ins. company. He apologized but refuse to take responsibility and pretended the over billing was a "computer error". He also sent me a check refunding me for the overcharge. However the fact remains that both I and my insurance company were overcharged HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS. I was also lied to several times by his staff about receiving payment from my insurance company. It wasn't until I complained to my insurance company about his fraud, that any resolution came. Glad I got the money I was defraud back, but my opinion hasn't changed. I had braces when I was younger, but I never wore my retainer so my front teeth shifted when my wisdom teeth came in. I was always disappointed that I underwent 2 years of ortho and I didn't have anything to show for it. Then I came to Dr. Kvitko's office and I was amazed by their 6 month smiles program that cosmetically straightens teeth in 6 months or less! Dr. Kvitko started my ortho on August 13th and my braces came off October 21st of this year. So my case was done in just over 2 months and I didn't mind wearing the clear bracket and white wire braces for such a short time. Only a few people even noticed that I was wearing braces and now I am very happy with my new smile!!! And in order to keep my teeth from shifting in the future, I have a special scalloped retainer bonded to the back side of my front teeth that allows me to floss normally. Dr Kvitko has been my dentist for 12 years. When I first met him, I had not been to the dentist for 12 years. To say I was dental phobic is an understatement. After assuring me I had paid all expenses for a crown put on two years ago, office is trying to bill me over $1000 that was missed due to their error--and I can't file this with my insurance because it was billed more than a year after the procedure. My experience is that Kvitko seems to be more about advertising and creating a name than good, solid dental work. I had his work checked by two others dentists and found out that his crown work was subpar. He always tries to "upsell" . He doesn't participate in any dental insurances and his prices are very high. I found Dr. Kvitko and staff friendly, courteous and timely during my 1st visit. I was at the dentists' office for a cleaning. This took around 3 hours with Dr. Kvitko leaving in the middle of my appointment to take care of some business dealings with Ted Williams; however, one of the other dentists took his time to clean my teeth. I didn't expect to be in a dental chair for 3 hours for a cleaning. Dr. Kvitko seemed more interested in his "Smile Bright" program. I would love to have a perfect smile but cannot afford the $28,000 I was quoted to accomplish that. The $28,000 also included some other procedures such as filing a cavity, doing a root canal with crown; however, the majority of the cost was to have a perfect smile. Not to mention that Dr. Kvitko seemed much more interested in his "Smile Bright" program instead of care & concern for the health of my teeth, gums, etc. On my 2nd visit, the office was running late, staff not quite as friendly or courteous, and when I mentioned that I had a schedule to keep as well, I was told that just because I was in a "hurry," it wasn't their concern that I also had a professional schedule to keep. Again, during the consultation, much more attention was paid to the "Smile Bright" program instead of what was going on inside my mouth. Long story short - hold onto your wallet . . . this dentists' office seems more interested in seperating you from your hard-earned money than taking care of the practice of dentistry. I went to this dental office for the first time. I initially called to make sure they were in network with my insurance. I was told on the phone they were in network so I made an appointment. After all 18 images, cleaning of teeth they set me up for a later date consultation. Thank goodness when I received my explanation of benefits from the first visit, my insurance company included a statement that I could save money if I would go to someone in-network. I thought maybe this was a standard statement on the explanation but decided to call my insurance to check to make sure Dr. Kvitko and associates were in-network. I was told only one doctor (which the office didn't set me up with) was in-network. When meeting during my consultation with the finance person, I believe her name is Mary Jane I told her I believe crowns and fillings were covered at a higher percentage she was giving me. She neglected to inform me it was because the doctor who would be performing the work was not in-network she just said "no, insurances don't pay higher percentages like they did in the past" The kicker to all of this is that after my insurance which it pays for me to go anywhere for my cleanings, I received a $57.00 bill from Dr. Kvitko's office. I would recommend to anyone to check with their insurance first and make sure the office connects you with the doctor whom is in-network or you will be paying a higher percentage without the office letting you aware!!! Mary Jane was not friendly and was rather abrupt when talking about the financing. I went to someone in-network and got the best treatment and the rates were not as high even if someone would not have insurance coverage and they have done a fantastic job. Dr. Kvitko's B.S. response letter is disingenuous and highly misleading. Dr. Kvitko misrepresents quite a bit. First, when I met with Dr. Kvitko on the morning of Oct. 21, I made it quite clear to Dr. Kvitko that the immediate reason I was there that day was because of a very painful tooth that had just started to hurt the previous evening, and that the pain was increasing. (Dr. Kvitko fails to mention this important point in his letter... and he seems to represent that I did not mention this crucial fact until during my 3 PM appt.) In my morning meeting with Dr. Kvitko I also made it clear that the only reason I had come to his particular office was because of all of the bold promises that he repeatedly makes in his ads. (ie, Compassion, Care, Respect, Comfort etc, etc, etc...) It is all BALONEY folks. Although I did happen to mention the possibility of being a future case study, I reiterated that the immediate and only reason I came to see Dr. Kvitko that morning was because of a painful tooth that was increasingly getting worse. Dr. Kvitko acknowledged this and he made me a promise. Dr. Kvitko told me directly that if I came back to his office at 3PM, whether my tooth needed extraction or a root canal... Dr. Kvitko promised me that I would NOT leave his office in pain. However, when I came back, Dr. Kvitko broke this important promise. Dr. Kvitko now told me I would have to wait until the next day. The fact of the matter is that... I did leave Dr. Kvitko's office in pain, and contrary to Dr. Kvitko's letter it was well before 6pm, (closer to 5pm). Within 10-20 minutes, during my drive home, the excruciating pain I was experiencing the entire day went up about 10-fold because of an ineffective, if not defective, supposed 7-8 hour block shot. I went off the highway 3 or 4 times just trying to get home. Dr. Kvitko is aware of this. However, please notice that Dr. Kvitko leaves these very crucial points out of his response letter. When I was there for my 3PM appointment I told 2 of Dr. Kvitko's employees, and Dr. Kvitko HIMSELF, that my tooth was really killing me before an exam or X-Rays even began. My pleas to Dr. Kvitko went ignored. I literally begged the dental assistant to quit doing a full set of mouth X-Rays because it hurt so much. I asked several times why a full mouth set is needed when I have a "Hot Tooth" problem located in one specific area of my mouth that needed to be immediately addressed. However, it seems that Dr. Kvitko is more worried about how much money he can make from your entire mouth vs. taking care of an immediate emergency. Read my previous letter for more info. I stand behind my letter and my opinions based upon my experience with Dr. Kvitko. Second, Dr. Kvitko's office wellness call was a joke. Dr. Kvitko's office did not call my cell # as I emphatically requested. However, Dr. Kvitko's office did call my wife at work and hassle her for full payment for work that would not be fully completed for a month. Dr. Kvitko's office had absolutely no business calling my wife at work. She is not a patient. Lastly, Dr. Kvitko's analogy about dentistry being compared to buying a set of tires is a farce. Besides the fact that Dr. Kvitko's service falls extremely short of all of his advertised promises to the public in general... Dr. Kvitko broke a promise he made directly to me that I relied on. In addition, my future visits were not any better. When it came time to install my crown, I experienced unnecessary pain and discomfort. (NO wellness call) However, I did get to experience an ineffective and defective installation process when the new crown came off the very next day. (After re-installation... NO wellness call.) Also, please note that when I did write my first letter to Dr. Kvitko, I tried to hand deliver it directly to him. He was busy and did not want to take it, so I asked him if I could place it on his office desk. He said to just give it to Judy. (Quite a bit different than how the Dr. Kvitko tells it.) Please know that Dr. Kvitko has the gall to charge the highest rates around, (although before treatment, Judy told me Dr. Kvitko charges the going rate), for his services... yet he does not have the care, compassion, or professionalism to personally address me, a concerned patient. According to Dr. Kvitko's practice manager, 99.9999% of the time Dr. Kvitko would not have let me leave his office still in pain with an ineffective and/or defective block shot. I guess I must be that 1 in 1,000,000 people that Dr. Kvitko does not seem to care about. Funny thing though... after-the-fact... the practice manager told me more than once that the practice does have 2 other capable Dr.s that could have giving me the service as it was promised. However, I suppose Dr. Kvitko just didn't think of that. Huh??? Bottom line... in my experiences... Kvitko does not keep his promises and he over charges for bad service. read more
