They provided a very detailed plan with really more information than I actually needed. Costs were clearly articulated, itemized and they were very flexible on payment plans and working with Insurance. I spoke with multiple co-workers with kids with braces and almost exactly the same price. Now, to be fair, her case is very basic, no extractions or palate expanders and such. I am giving 4 stars now. Will review when the treatment is complete. The staff is friendly and accommodating. And of course it is money making organization, would be naive to think otherwise.

However, I needed some simple x-rays of my teeth and either the x-ray holder was TOO BIG for my mouth or the "hygenist?" was placing them incorrectly and they wouldn't go in. I said, OW. YOU'RE HURTING ME. So she shoved harder and started fussing like a 2 year old. I said, STOP. THEY DON'T FIT. DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. She stamped her feet, fussed like a baby and said, so you are refusing the procedure? NO, i said. IT DOESN'T FIT. DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. She called in another staff member to complain that i was Un-Cooperative or something. This staff member did NOTHING USEFUL. Didn't even speak to me at all. 1st woman- then braced herself like she was pushing a bolder up a mountain and began SHOVING the appliance back into my mouth. It still didn't fit. I was in so much PAIN that i nearly jumped out of the chair. Almost to tears, the 1st highly trained and skilled "hygenist" finally brought in Dr. Cheung. I told him the appliance didn't fit in my mouth. Please do something different. He immediately told them to do the xray a different way. No problems. It was done in a moment. Professional. I DON'T BELIEVE that the xray film would not fit in my mouth with the application of even the slightest professionalism or patience or that ANY of the fussing and violence to my mouth associated with getting the x-ray was even necessary. Any person even remotely interested in actually getting the job done- would have accomplished this simple task with almost no trouble at all. This female hygenist and the staff in general are Stunningly Brave, absolutely Beautiful, perfect in Every Way and are obviously being oppressed. Please don't change a thing. As for me, i will wipe the blood out of my mouth and apologize for existing.

It was clearly something that should have been caught before we left the office. Today, I tried to get it fixed as soon as possible. After getting no response, I even drove all the way there, only to find out the office was closed without any notice. It's frustrating and concerning that there was no communication about their closure, especially when patients may be dealing with urgent issues like this. Leaving a patient, especially a child in pain because of something preventable, and then being completely unreachable, is unacceptable. I expected much better care and communication.
