The service I got here was my annual vehicle inspection completed here as always with very good customer service and little to no wait. The price is the practically the same for this however, I have found all the services, that I have gotten completed here are always at a great price, no complaints. Got my inspection done and the service was great. They are friendly and also got me in and out.

Do not use this place to have your car worked on for anything! All they want it your money. Once they do something wrong, they act like they're not at fault and talk to you like you're dirt. 0 customer service. Horrible management. The guy got in my truck with a lit cigarette and I don't smoke in or out of my vehicle. Bottom line, this place sucks. read more

Went in for a state inspection. Dude saw that I was a woman, so he told me I needed to replace my AC filter. I asked him how much and he told me he'd do it for 49$ but he'll take off 10$ "just for me" I looked at him dead in the eyes and I was like "for a filter?" I know a filter doesn't cost more than 10-15$. He laughed it off and i told him to leave the filter and that I'd change it myself. On 12.30.2022, I went back to a local Jiffy Lube who had previously failed my daughter's inspection for back brakes only (after waiting over 2.5 hours for the inspection). When I returned to show them brakes had been replaced by our trusted mechanic so I could get a passing inspection I was told you'll need to wait 1.5 hours. I said really? After we already waited once? I was told very rudely that "we are first come, first serve." This happened after I witnessed their rudeness to other drivers pulling in as well. On a side note, their inspection said the back brake rotors needed replaced and the pads in rear and front. They quoted us a price and we chose not to have the work done there. When we took it to our mechanic, it actually needed front and back rotors so I'm not sure how great their inspections are. They clearly did not want to be there and tried to get people to leave. I did leave and won't be returning. I made my way down to Kwik Kar where I spoke with Steve. He did my inspection and I was on my way within 20 minutes or so. This was my 2nd time dealing with Steve and each time he has been kind, honest, efficient, and thorough. Our family has a total of 6 vehicles and we will be returning for oil changes and inspections. Very nice Asian ppl work here, but there is a chrochity ass old man that doesn't understand technology who kinda makes you want to punch him in the face. So I prob won't be back. To clarify - dude was all frustrated my insurance card was on my phone (which by the way take two seconds to verify coverage, then it's over). All the while I sat in front of the bay watching him sit in a chair and stare at his phone for 5min before he came over to investigate what "I needed". The nice Asian lady had already helped me. Found it ironic... Customer service - just be nice to people , don't come off as a jerk. Sad... If that was my employee - I would fire him and find a better one. read more

This place has been reeeeaaaally slow when I've went. It took them over three hours to get an inspection and emissions test done, which sucked, but did give me a chance to notice that they give the exact same spiel to every person that comes in for an oil change. Dramatization: Looks like you're going to need a new air filter. Also, your ______ fluid is a little darker than what it should be. I recommend the _______ service which cleans out the entire system and costs $99. Do not come here if you want to know what's REALLY up with your car. read more

Really disappointed. Pulled the car the car into the garage from oil change on Saturday. Monday morning backed car car out of garage leaking oil from oil change plug. Also upon leaving I had to wipe oil off the steering wheel. read more

Drive 500 more feet and go to West Pearland Auto where you are a customer, not a number. We have been going there for four years and absolutely love them. I try and stay away from these little joints like this because they hire anyone off the street and try to sell you work on your car only because they have a little note come up that says this car should have this particular thing done at the mileage you're at so they try and get you to get that done when they haven't even looked at the actual part to see if it has been done. That being said........... I went only because I needed an inspection sticker. I gave the guy my paperwork that had my other sticker in pile of papers also. I asked him to please put it on for me while he was putting on my new inspection sticker. When my car was finished, I got in my car and drove off not even paying attention to see if my sticker was on my car. If you haven't figured it out yet by this review, yes I am a girl and as long as the wheels are turning on my car, I am good :) A week later, my husband asked why the other sticker wasn't on my car. I told him it should be cause I told the guy at Kwik Kar to put it on for me. Well, it wasn't there nor was it in my car anywhere. I called Kwik Kar on Friday and spoke with the mgr. He said he was going to ask the techs Saturday to see if anyone remembered it or took the sticker. REally????? He told me to call back Saturday afternoon. I knew immediately he was going to do nothing. If he was, he would've asked my info and HIM CALL ME BACK. HOwever, I called him Monday and asked and he said none of his techs remember me coming in. I don't think the tech stole it or anything like that. I think he accidentally threw it away. They don't care about the customer. read more

I've been here in past and things went smooth and great !! Not sure there is new management but !!! I got here early @830 I was told for oill change and UPGARDE it be about 45mins - 1hr ... after being asked several times about different things they could let possibly try to selll me on maintenance my car oil change finally done and they didn't upgrade my car wash like I asked ... so there i go waiting for that be done ... none the less after getting the so called upgrade my rear door still wAs not cleaned properly! I got the "Ocean Wash" package, and the vacuuming and the detailing was bad they left crumbs on the dash board and did not clean the windows. Will not be returning. read more

Beware! The technicians who work at this place will rummage through your vehicle and if they see anything of value, they will steal it. I took my car in for an inspection and they took some pocket change out of the cupholder. I deliberately left a paltry amount of change in the car to test them. I will never take my car back and advise anyone to go to another place. read more

I will never ereturn to this place! They took two hours to inspect my vehiclle and could not complete the work because they could not find my on board diagnostics port.!? Then the guy that works there Keith offered to sell me a sticker for $20 dollars on the side. I reported it to the manager De'andre Johnson and He and I confronted Keith and he admitted to it. I then wrote a written statement about the incident. Then the Manager tried to intimidate me and I called the police on him. I filed a report with Pearland Police department and with DPS. This place is full of Thug gansters and its all around bad news. Even the Police said that they have had numerous reports about Andre Johnson and his crew at Kwik Kar oil and lube located at 7226 Broadway (hwy 518) in Pearland Texas 77581. Be very, very careful, and trust no one. I took my vehicle in to this shop, and left directions for specific services. When I returned the manager had approved doing additional and unapproved services. He "swore" he called my cell phone for approval, and left a message. Needless to say, I never received a phone call or message on my cell (which was with me all day) Then, 2 months later when my transmission went out, my mechanic informed me the fluid level was filled to twice the normal level. Want to guess as to whether they drained by transmission before replacing the fluid? I dislike being taken advantage of, a bit less than I like being lied to. This place, and the charlatan that runs it, is a plague. Avoid it like one. read more
