Warning of dishonest and scamming business practices at Lams Complete Auto. I took my truck here after the motor/switch went out on the driver seat. Other than leaving the seat filthy with greasy hand prints I thought it was good service so ignored that I would have to have the seats now cleaned. Within a week of having my car back all of a sudden my ac starts blowing hot and the fan will not stop running. A friend and I checked the basics and found the freon was overfilled which doesn't make sense as it was fine the week prior to taking it to this shop and all fluid levels and things were checked and normal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Took it to a shop I previously have used and and the freon, which someone would have had to overfill, was causing too much pressure and had I driven much more it would've have damaged the compressor which would have cost easily $1000 to fix between parts and labor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This business was the only place that could have overfilled the freon since no one else had touched it. Extremely dishonest business practices to try to get more business and income. DO NOT USE Lams complete auto. read more

When we went here after the old owner, Lam, retired, there was a new guy. We took our car in to get into repair for an engine light but he charged us an outrageous amount for a hose. Also, we took an old car in that we wanted to sell and he wanted to buy it for a ridiculously low amount. At the beginning while he asked his tow person to tow our car since it had flats and couldn't drive, he said if we wanted it back, he'd tow our car back at no charge for us. When we did want it back, he took back his statement and said he'd charge us around $100. We figured out another way to get our car back with only $11 with a different service. He is responsive, but not very trustworthy and overprices the hell out of his work. I do not recommend going here, and the old owner was way better. read more

This place has recently switched ownership. Unlike the previous owners, whoever is currently running this establishment is unscrupulous and untrustworthy. My son took his car there because it was overheating and they preceded to fix his water pump, which they claimed should fix the problem. It did not, unfortunately they sent a video of something else that was leaking which they claim could cause overheating. They ran the bill up seemingly as long as my son trusted their assessment of his vehicle. They did all this work only for us to find out that my son's car had a much larger more ominous issue which should have negated their doing any work other than fixing the cracked head initially. If you know anything about engines a cracked head could mean there is no need to fix the engine, the best correction of that issue may be a new engine. They were willing to bilk my son out of as much money as possible, doing repair work on an engine they full well knew was potentially damaged beyond repair. We only found out the extent of the damage after paying our bill to them, collecting the vehicle and having it stop on my son as he drove off down the road. The vehicle was taken to another shop and that's where we received the news of how badly the engine had been damaged by the bouts of overheating. I would suggest if you value your hard earned money and peace of mind, stay away from this place, they will relieve you of both. read more

My sister and brother recommended this place. I brought my Sorebto in for an overheat probkem and to replace my broken windshield reservoir tank and pump. Lam gave m an estimate and I agreed . laer, he call and said there was something else broken. Not happy with news but I also agree to the repair bacause he explained to me clearly what he found. Ive been a customer at Lams on hughes rd for about 10 yrs. Mechanic always calls me to let me know the problem and the cost. Had brakes, motor repair, oil change, rotors, etc. fixed.. Always very professional and trustworthy; cost about the same else where. FIve stars. Tow truck driver who towed my truck there even told me that Lams was very honest. read more
