So I came here today today for an oil change. As I was literally driving the AC went out and about to turn into the kwik lube the red light and engine light turned and my truck was hesitating to move forward. I drove In and told the older guy with glasses "the check engine light just came on and I'm going to call my mechanic". They pulled it in to so the oil change. I asked the lady/ owner if they had the capability to do a read on the lights that popped on the dash. She asked and came back and said "he said it was low on coolant." They finished and I was paying and asked do I owe for the coolant and the lady nodded no. I paid and I drove down the road to aldis (1min away) to see if the truck would run. I called the mechanic. I decided to drive right back and ask how much coolant was added. The owner lady was outside and she asked the same guy and he said 1/2 a jug and then yelled "she shouldn't be driving it it will make it worse because the truck has a leak!" So I parked in under the trees and called triple A for a tow. I walked back over to the guy and asked him "when I left the first time why didn't y'all say there was an active leak?" He said. " well you said you had a mechanic". I said but I didn't know I had a leak and had I know I would not have driven off." The lady owner walks back up and said " we told you it was leaking", I was like no you didn't , I drove back here just now after being gone for a few minutes and you JUST NOW told me it was leaking , why didn't y'all say it was leaking before I left, I had no idea it was leaking I would have stayed put." The lady owner literally just shrugged her shoulders like well whatever ! I was shocked because I've been coming here for a few years for oil changes and she was like having an "oh well" attitude. I don't understand that attitude as a business owner . I have stated my concerns here and you i posted a pic of the active leak and then the leak after the tow pulled it into their truck. You decide for yourselves what you think.
Being as it was that time of year for a car inspection, I drove on over to Kwik Kar. It just so happened to coincide with oil changing time, too, so it made sense to just get both done and over with. I arrived about 9:30 A.M. and was lucky and happy to find no one else waiting. The friendly mechanics got right on it and I was out of there in no time. They even did a complimentary vacuuming and window washing. I'm bumping them up 5 stars because these guys do the job with no hidden costs or surprise fake findings in your car's workings that need repairing. They are efficient and timely in any situation. Convenience and trust. I have given and I will be giving this place my business from now on.

I came for my first inspection on a 2019 car. Upon arrival there was limited seating in the waiting area and it took another 5 minutes before someone addressed me. When the elderly lady asked me what services I needed (state inspection) she said it would be 30 minutes. 45 minutes after that she came in said my gas cap failed inspection and then stated that service would be $25.50 and come back with gas cap and be charged an additional $25.50. She handed me my paperwork and in black in white it said I wouldn't be charged within 15 days. Needless to say I was pissed. I told the lady that I flat out wasn't paying her fee and stated now I remember why I stopped coming here. They're slow and some crooks. That's that's to top off piss poor customer service. DEFINITELY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND SERVICE OF ANY KIND FROM THEM! P.S. took my car to the dealership and it passed state inspection and I got a car wash for the same price! read more
