I brought my wife's car for an oil change here. The price for an oil change was $90 which was more expensive than listed. That did not bother me as much as the fact that they told me my wife's car needed brakes. They stated that they were almost rubbing metal... gave me a quote for $380. I rejected because I can do a brake job, so I came home and took my tires off to do the brake job and both front and back were perfect. Had plenty of brakes for another year or more. So I came here today today for an oil change. As I was literally driving the AC went out and about to turn into the kwik lube the red light and engine light turned and my truck was hesitating to move forward. I drove In and told the older guy with glasses "the check engine light just came on and I'm going to call my mechanic". They pulled it in to so the oil change. I asked the lady/ owner if they had the capability to do a read on the lights that popped on the dash. She asked and came back and said "he said it was low on coolant." They finished and I was paying and asked do I owe for the coolant and the lady nodded no. I paid and I drove down the road to aldis (1min away) to see if the truck would run. I called the mechanic. I decided to drive right back and ask how much coolant was added. The owner lady was outside and she asked the same guy and he said 1/2 a jug and then yelled "she shouldn't be driving it it will make it worse because the truck has a leak!" So I parked in under the trees and called triple A for a tow. I walked back over to the guy and asked him "when I left the first time why didn't y'all say there was an active leak?" He said. " well you said you had a mechanic". I said but I didn't know I had a leak and had I know I would not have driven off." The lady owner walks back up and said " we told you it was leaking", I was like no you didn't , I drove back here just now after being gone for a few minutes and you JUST NOW told me it was leaking , why didn't y'all say it was leaking before I left, I had no idea it was leaking I would have stayed put." The lady owner literally just shrugged her shoulders like well whatever ! I was shocked because I've been coming here for a few years for oil changes and she was like having an "oh well" attitude. I don't understand that attitude as a business owner . I have stated my concerns here and you i posted a pic of the active leak and then the leak after the tow pulled it into their truck. Came here for an oil change in my wife's car, and the woman running the establishment has absolutely horrid customer service. She just walked up to my window and glared at me. Didn't even greet me at all. I did not feel welcome here from the moment I drove in. I had asked for an oil change and she didn't even give me options. And from my personal experience, I know there are multiple options for an oil change. Altogether. Horrible customer service. The oil change took way too long. And very uninformative about what they are doing to your vehicle. 2/5. Would not recommend and will not be back. read more

Being as it was that time of year for a car inspection, I drove on over to Kwik Kar. It just so happened to coincide with oil changing time, too, so it made sense to just get both done and over with. I arrived about 9:30 A.M. and was lucky and happy to find no one else waiting. The friendly mechanics got right on it and I was out of there in no time. They even did a complimentary vacuuming and window washing. I'm bumping them up 5 stars because these guys do the job with no hidden costs or surprise fake findings in your car's workings that need repairing. They are efficient and timely in any situation. Great and friendly customer service, and they get the job done quickly in decent amount of time. It's the nearest place to get an oil-change for me, and I trust them with my car totally. They even have donuts for their customers inside the office when I visited last time. I like to look at their collection of cows/bulls figurines whenever I am in the office waiting. I came for my first inspection on a 2019 car. Upon arrival there was limited seating in the waiting area and it took another 5 minutes before someone addressed me. When the elderly lady asked me what services I needed (state inspection) she said it would be 30 minutes. 45 minutes after that she came in said my gas cap failed inspection and then stated that service would be $25.50 and come back with gas cap and be charged an additional $25.50. She handed me my paperwork and in black in white it said I wouldn't be charged within 15 days. Needless to say I was pissed. I told the lady that I flat out wasn't paying her fee and stated now I remember why I stopped coming here. They're slow and some crooks. That's that's to top off piss poor customer service. DEFINITELY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND SERVICE OF ANY KIND FROM THEM! P.S. took my car to the dealership and it passed state inspection and I got a car wash for the same price! read more

I was really disappointed with my experience trying to get my state inspection here. After waiting 35 minutes, I was notified that they couldn't give me an inspection because my "gas cap was missing." At first I was confused thinking this was some term I was unfamiliar with (besides the obvious cover over the fuel tank) so I waited for a further explanation and was just shooed off by the woman working when she just repeated "There is no gas cap, you have to go to the dealership and they will handle it." Let me be clear, I have a gas cap, so again, I left very confused and googled a ton afterward. I did go out of my way to the dealership and they had ZERO issues and were quick and easy to work with. They said they had no idea what Kwik Kar's problem was. So, either they have no idea what they are doing or they are lazy or perhaps mixed up my vehicle with someone elses? I'm not sure, but it was a waste of my time to go here. read more
