I didn't really care for my experience here. One of the staff members messed up my drink then argued with me about it. Then another staff member said "oh no look she did order the boba" so the girl who was arguing wiped off the whip cream at the top of my drink, puts the boba in the cup, then gives my drink back to me. The other staff member was like "take the straw out the cup." I don't know where the common sense was at. The ice cream flavors are matcha, vanilla and hojicha. The hojicha ice cream looks like chocolate but I think it is actually, like matcha, a tea flavor. We ordered the matcha ice cream. I like the matcha ice cream because it has a robust flavor but is not overly sweet. In my opinion, it's best to order the Mixed Cup (or Mixed Cone). I would recommend parking in the back/side areas of Kajiken, so you can get some decent parking. Inside, it can be a bit cramped when it's the weekend, so definitely try to order to-go if you can. There's maybe 2-3 tables inside, but fairly small as well. You can order via the kiosk or at the register. There's options of desserts and drinks, and sometimes there are specials too. The cafe does not have much seating, only 2 tables and it's adjacent to another restaurant. I came to Kajike Ramen for lunch today my second visit since their grand opening earlier this year. The location is super convenient for me, and every time I've been here, I've had a great experience with both the food and the service. The place is also very well-decorated and spotless, which makes the dining experience even better. While I was still eating, I placed a Kyo Matcha order on Uber Eats to take advantage of a promotion. I thought I ordered from the location next door, but it turned out I had accidentally placed the order with a different location the one where I previously had a bad experience. I canceled it right away, but Uber Eats still charged a $10 cancellation fee and wouldn't refund anything. Disappointed, I decided to stop by the Kyo Matcha next door to Kajike Ramen and explained the mix-up to the front staff. The person who had served us at Kajike Ramen (possibly the owner or manager) came over, listened to the story, and honor the promotion even though it wasn't their mistake and the other location is separately owned. He gave us two matcha drinks free of charge. That small act of kindness left a big impression. It wasn't just about the drinks, it was about the service, professionalism, and genuine care.
