Really Great Coffee! I just ordered regular coffee and was surprised that it was so good.

There is a reason this coffee shop is rated almost 5 stars. For me it definitely is the best coffee I have had in the northern va area. I don't even live close to it but try to get it as much as I can lol. All of the baristas are so friendly. Because I have been there so often they know me now and know my drink :) The shop inside is super cute and aethestic. They offer seasonal drinks and every one that I have tried was really good . I have tried almost all of their drinks and have nothing bad to say. The ingredients they use are high quality and you can taste it in the drinks. They offer matcha flights as well and whenever I walk in I see plenty of people enjoying them so I know it's a big hit. I will also say they go over the top for customer service. My two year old got a pastry on one of our visits and ended up having an allergic reaction. The owner was so sweet. He reached out to me via text and also provided all of the ingredients listed so that we could figure out what she reacted to. Great customer service and amazing drinks. They were all kind of a little too sweet for me, so I preferred the regular one the best. Finally had a chance to try Drip while I was in the area and it didn't disappoint. I really enjoy the Ube matcha cloud, which was an ube latte with a matcha cream foam. So I have heard about this place from a friend of mine and I was kind of skeptical because I typically really go for Middle Eastern coffee spot. However the menu look very interesting and I knew of had to try it after my friend said he loved it. happy to say that this was a great decision. I came all the way from Woodbridge to try this place and was totally worth it particularly the drink I got it was very shocking because it should not have been really good. The base of the drink was like coconut water with a foam on top and you know being a kind of skeptic. I just didn't understand how that flavor of combination would work, but with the Matcha foam on top it was solid. Been here twice. Smaller spot, not much seating, definitely not a lot of parking so don't come at peak hours. Staff here is super friendly and they work fast. We've tried their coffee flight, brown sugar hojicha, ube latte, and a couple of pastries. You really can't go wrong with any of the coffees but my favorite was the sea salt cream one. None are overly sweet which I appreciated. I will definitely be going out of my way to come here when I need a coffee. read more

I enjoyed my visit here. I came and visited on a cold day after it just snowed (I know, i'm very late on my reviews). Inside was nice and toasty. I ordered the egg foam coffee, and it was delicious. Wasn't too sweet, but still really strong. I don't think the coffee was bad, but again I think the egg foam also added to the coffee rather than taking away from the coffee. The pastry options didn't quite tempt me, but I came seeking intriguing matcha-based drink. Their "cloud" drink turns out to be something like a sparkling water with thick matcha foam layered on top. As the young kids like to say, "...it's a vibe" DRiP Cà Phê is the latest in the series of Vietnamese coffee shops which are popping up all over the DMV, but especially in Northern Virginia. I met up with a friend during the holidays, and DRiP Cà Phê is a perfect place to socialize and caffeinate at the same time. IMHO, the interior is a bit "odd" in how it's situated. There is bench style seating in the front facing out the window towards the drab parking lot. Then a few tables and chairs give way to seating along the sides of the room. While I'm always happy to see coffee house culture flourishing, since we were sitting along the side walls, conversations can and will "bleed in" with your neighbors' as you'll be in close proximity. But the coffee was good. When visiting a new Viet coffee shop, I always opt for the classic Cafe Su Da. Dark roasted and finely ground coffee is tightly packed in phin style coffee filters. About 3-4 ounces of water fresh of the boil is slowly poured in, to create a slow drip into condensed milk. After the coffee has coffee has completed dripping, give the mixture a quick stir, and pour over ice. The flavor was strong without being bitter, and the condensed milk added sweetness, while the ice also smoothed out the beverage as it melted over time. We noticed many tables ordering the "flights" of drinks, and of course, taking multiple snaps for TikTok or IG. The visual of the small glasses on a long woodend board. and various beverages in the collage of colors defintely which has helped DRiP Cà Phê go viral. While I'm in Annandale/Springfield often, not sure when I'll be back, since the limited parking lot is shared with MANY other businesses in the area. But if you're in the area, I still think DRiP Cà Phê is worth checking out; if nothing else, for some social media posts. read more

I love going to Drip for their matcha! It's a cozy, comfortable space and laptop-friendly. Great space to get work done. Their matcha drinks are consistently great, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The matcha flight is a fun experience and a nice way to try multiple flavors, but I personally preferred their individual drinks more than the flight. Overall, it's a great space with great drinks and I'd 100% definitely recommend checking it out. read more

This is my favorite Vietnamese coffee shop. They reminded me of the ones in OC. I'm so happy they opened here. I love the many flavors they have the ube and pandan. I always get their foam matcha flavors. It's thick, rich, sweet, and flavors are strong not subtle which I like. It gets busy in here especially during the weekend. The staff works for fast when it's busy. This is how a coffee shop should work. This is a great place for coffee date and working remotely. Stopped by today to try two other drinks they offer- the very popular ube espresso latte and pandan espresso latte. Both lattes are excellent, the flavor combinations are a must try. Out of the two lattes, the ube flavor is less masked by the espresso. The ube base they use also makes the drink a little thicker texture than the pandan espresso and it is only noticed if you try both. The pandan espresso doesn't taste too much like pandan to me, more like subtle coconut and it is definitely a sweeter coffee drink. read more

My friend and I came here to get their flights but decided instead to just get one drink each. I debated on getting the matcha flight but glad I didn't because I noticed they didn't change the options of the flight and knew I wouldn't like one of them off the bat. She got the liquid cocaine and I got raspberry truffle which is one of their seasonal drinks. She did not like her drink due to the combination of the sea salt foam (it tasted burnt) and the Vietnamese coffee. Mine was decent but a little on the sweet side for me but I kinda expected that. I was near this place on a weekday which is rare so I figured I'd stop by and try a matcha! Their menu looked so interesting so it was hard to choose something. But I am crazy about an ube and matcha combo so I had to try the Ube Matcha Cloud. Even for a weekday morning, there was a good bit of people socializing there which was cool. I got my drink very quickly and took it to go. I enjoyed my drink, but it had an aftertaste or something I wasn't the biggest fan of. I think it may have left a thick coating in my mouth because the ube is very thick. I almost wish it was the other way around where it was a matcha with an ube cold foam. It was good besides that. Maybe in the future I may ask them to make it a little less sweet too. I always wanted to try the matcha flight here, however I never seem to find the appropriate time for that much caffeine. Getting a matcha flight at Drip Ca Phe is quite the experience! I enjoyed every matcha option included in the flight - very tough to pick a favorite out of the group. The flight is definitely enough to share; I ended up mixing my leftovers in a to-go cup since I was enjoying it by myself. It's very loud and busy, not a good place to work even though people looked like they were trying haha. All the seats were taken, wish they had more seating! As a matcha lover, this place has been in my bookmarks and I was so excited we finally got to try it! We wanted to come to get the matcha flight as it comes with many options, which is perfect for an indecisive girly. I think you can customize the sweetness levels of the drinks. My favorite was the ube matcha cloud out of all the drinks. I'd probably just get an individual serving of this next time. They have an extensive menu filled with a variety of options. Maybe we will give their espresso/coffee options a try next time. I would say that after almost a year, they're much of flights are still at the same quality as when we first got them. At $23 for a Matcha flight it's still pretty good value overall since all of them are specialty drinks. It makes for a fun little experience. This time it's not so busy because the hype has died down, but I think that they are still good quality. They've also added a coffee flight which I'm excited to try next time nice staff clean bathrooms plenty of seating. The only thing is that the parking lot is shared with multiple of businesses so I can imagine that it gets really busy on some days. read more

Back in the DMV area after a while and was looking for a coffee shop in Annandale. So glad, we stumbled upon DRiP Cà Phê! It has really cute and clean vibes. There were a few people working in the coffee shop during a weekday morning, but plenty of seating inside. The person who took our order was so sweet and patient with us while we were indecisive. We went with the Ube latte with oat milk and the Viet coffee with egg foam. Both were delicious! The purple color of the ube was vibrant and she was able to make it a little less sweet for me upon request. The coffee was strongggg and smooth #buzzin. Coffee is getting a little pricey - $7.50 for the ube latte (one size) with oat milk, but I know it is what it is. Highly recommend coming to this coffee shop! Ordered muoi aka sea salt Vietnamese iced coffee & pandan espresso latte. Both were good but I personally really like the pandan. It's over overly sweet, perfect amount of espresso combined with aroma of pandan. The sea salt, might be a bit too sweet to my usual but the salty added the compliment as usual. I met a friend here to do some work on a Saturday and it stayed consistently busy the whole time. It's a great place to get work done because of the larger tables and the fast wifi. There's a decent amount of seating there, though you might have to wait for someone to be leaving to grab a seat. The staff is super nice and move quickly pretty quickly. My friend and I split the matcha flight ($22), which is a pretty good deal for the amount and variety you get. The matcha itself isn't too special, but the coco matcha cloud is a standout. Drip is a nice modern looking café that is quiet (even with customers conversing) place to do some remote work in. It has plenty of wall outlets if you need to charge your electronics. The people working there are also friendly and welcoming. Offering their advice or opinions if you don't know which of their delicious menu items you want. We didnt try their foods (paté chaude, pastries, etc) but their two drinks we ordered were really good. Highly recommend! read more

My favorite spot for signature latte's. They don't need to be tweaked at all. If you want sweet, there's sweet. If you want toned down or something balanced, there are options. Tons of really good options/customizations (drives me crazy lowkey), so something for everyone. Their drinks are very creative. My top 3: Ube Espresso Latte, Pandan Espresso Latte, Strawberry Matcha Latte. Cool spot to hang out, sip your coffee and leave; or get some work done. DRiP Cà Phê is one of the newest coffee shops that I've added into my rotation when I'm in the Annandale area. I have admittedly not tried their coffee (yet) and this review is solely for the Sea Salt Foam Pandan Latte (non-coffee drink, even though it says "latte" in the name). The pandan flavor was fragrant and lightly sweet and was elevated with sea salt form which was rich, creamy, and just salty enough to balance the sweetness. I. AM. OBSESSED. The cafe can get pretty busy! Even in the hustle and bustle of the packed cafe, the baristas were efficient and friendly. I could tell they cared about the quality of each drink despite the rush.
