Our server was so nice and friendly to start off. We got 2 sushi rolls, an appetizer and udon stir fry which was plenty of food. I love shumai, they tasted similar to the ones I've had elsewhere so I do not think they're house-made but still tasted really good. The two sushi rolls also were good quality, crunchy with good texture. The udon was a bit underwhelming for me flavor wise. Could've used more sauce or salt perhaps but the chewiness was pleasant. You don't get very much beef to noodle ratio but it was still decent. The decor in there is very nice and the bathrooms were clean!

Great sushi and a great price point. When I don't feel like going downtown for sushi I come to Kyoto! The quality is great. Other sushi/hibachi places in town don't carry the cuts of fish that Kyoto does. So that's definitely a plus. Presentation and quality a++

The King Speech Roll. This was a beautiful plate. It was too pretty to eat, so delicious.

    Sushi Combo 1

We got the combo 1 which is 3 chef special rolls and 5 regular rolls and everything was amazing. We special requested that they labeled each roll and they took the time to accommodate this and explain each one. Service was amazing and they were so patient. Not once did we feel rushed on the phone or in the restaurant.

The food was delicious, however, my steak could have used a little more seasoning. Loved the orange chicken! I had the peach sake which was delicious. Surprisingly, the strawberry cheesecake was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was looking for a place with habachi tables, but there were none here. I would definitely go back and take my family and friends there when they visit.

Came in for lunch and was met with quick service by the front cashier . The decor is that of most hibachi places and it was fairly empty for a mid day lunch hour. It's located between Moncks Corner & Goose Creek where they are building up nicely . Got a teriyaki bowl which was really good and seasoned well for about $13 (other places this is cheaper ) Would come back to try other options such as sushi and drinks .

How come this restaurant is not full on a wonderful day or evening? You definitely need to try it out!! Monck's Corner is definitely stepping up on their restaurant scene and this is one be of the places that shows. This was our first time to this place and when we walk in it is so inviting. It does have a sit in They have a great beer, wine and Sake menu. The food menu is big and a lot of great items. I got the Chicken Pad Thai. It was a generous portion and really tasty if you like noodle dishes. My husband got the Hibachi teriyaki shrimp with fried rice and veggies. He really enjoyed it. Overall an 8.5 out of 10 for the food. We will definitely be back to try the Sushi. We enjoyed everything.

Tucked away in a little strip off the beaten path in Moncks Corner is a place where all your sushi dreams come true! Dinner at Kyoto is nothing short of amazing. We ordered : Tuna Tataki, Salmon Wrap Fresh salmon sashimi wrapped with spicy crab salad, Japanese sprouts & cucumber in wasabi yuzu sauce Sex & The City Roll- Spicy tuna, tempura eel, avocado, wrapped in soy paper topped lobster salad, red tobiko and eel sauce, honey wasabi sauce. Pink Lady Roll- Salmon tempura, mango, wasabi tobiko, wrapped in soy paper salmon on top, spicy mayo sauce. Volcano Roll Deep fried with spicy tuna roll, mix crab, scallop, shrimp, masago, Japanese mayo and eel sauce, spicy mayo, scallion on top. How beautiful is this presentation!!! #Sushi #SushiRoll #SushiBar

I wish I remembered the chefs name but he was awesome and entertaining while he cooked for us. The food was delicious and plentiful, there was no way we could finish what they gave us. We're already planning our next visit , after we finish the leftovers that is. 5 stars easy, best restaurant we've been to in Summerville.

From a service standpoint, there's really nothing to complain about. The food, however, was just okay. The hibachi-style entrée was generously portioned with rice, vegetables, and protein, but the flavors were pretty mild and didn't really pop. The sushi rolls were fresh and nicely presented, but they tasted fairly standard and weren't very memorable. I also tried the calamari rings and, while they were crispy, I wasn't a big fan of the overall flavor and seasoning. Overall, Yokoso is a decent option if you're looking for good service and solid portions, but the food itself felt average. I wouldn't say it's bad--just not a place I'd go out of my way for.

We wanted something different for dinner and saw this new-to-us listing on Uber Eats. Takoyaki! How…read moreexciting! So we ordered a few things to try. The takoyaki came with a tangy-sweet and slightly fishy sauce. The balls were soft, springy, full of creamy richness and nice-sized pieces of octopus. Perfectly cooked, not tough or chewy. Unfortunately for me, they were served absolutely covered in bonito flakes. This made them incredibly fishy in a most cat-treat-smelling way. If you are not a fan of super-fishiness, I recommend asking they do not include the flakes. The chicken katsu was well-breaded, crisp outside and juicy inside, if a little underseasoned. The rice had a very faint coconut aroma that enhanced the chicken's flavor. No sauce came with it, but it could have used something. The steamed chicken dumplings were a freebie and were flavorful and tender, loaded with plenty of ground chicken. They could have used some herbs or scallion or something as they were a little one-note, but they were definitely hearty. The pork buns were the best of all. They were bursting with flavor, spicy, sweet, tangy, savory, and satisfying. The buns were pillowy-soft and calmed the heat of the pork. They are a MUST! I would eat those and the takoyaki (hold the bonito) again for sure. We'll definitely order again and try more things.

From the welcoming vibe at Carnes and being seated quickly to the festive drink menu with the various type of milk and green tea!! Winner why because I am a girl who does not shy away from extra strawberry poppin boba in her tea! Yes please. Of course the beef ramen was great with the crispy onions, fresh veggies and the paired with Shrimp Fried Rice just elevated the dish. But the show stopper and double back two days for me was the chicken karaage. Yes crispy chicken thighs that melt in your mouth paired with spicy mayo and sweet Asian chili sauce....yep that's my go to from now on...chicken karaage and strawberry tea. Can't say anything bad about the location as it is aesthically right at Carnes close to my new Starbucks so double win!
