We wanted to check out Fireside since it's close by and we'd heard a few good things about it. It's tucked in the back of a strip mall so you can easily miss it. Overall, it ended up being one of those meals that was perfectly fine--nothing bad, but nothing that really wowed us either. We started with the Brussel Sprouts, which were definitely the highlight. Nicely cooked, flavorful, and a great way to kick things off. We shared a Margherita pizza that was just okay--good enough, but a little forgettable compared to other spots around town. The Sicily salad was next, and if you're a salad person, you'll probably enjoy this one. It was fresh, well balanced, and one of the more satisfying dishes we tried. We also ordered the Drunk Cutlet sandwich. The flavors were there, but the cutlet itself was super thin, so it felt a little underwhelming for the size of the bread. The short rib bolognese was solid--comforting and hearty, though not something I'd rush back specifically for. All in all, Fireside is a decent neighborhood spot for a quick, easy meal. Absolutely amazing pizza. We love coming here and are so happy something so great right in the town of Moncks Corner! The staff are friendly, it's a family friendly establishment, and the food is great. For a starter we typically get the fried mozzarella. Our favorite pizza is the pickle baller, closely followed by a classic cup and char and the jersey devil. Cannot recommend this place enough. We've been all over the area looking for good pizza and this is the place we keep coming back to. My only suggestion would be to lower the lighting a bit in the dining room. read more

You can tell when someone loves what they do especially as a chef because you can taste it in their food. Overall, Fireside Pizza is doing something special in Moncks Corner--combining top-tier culinary technique, house-made ingredients, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We had an event to work in this area and next to us was Fireside Pizza, so after viewing the menu, we decided to take pizza home for dinner. We ordered a Ceasars Salad and a Short Rib Pizza. Salad was delicious and I loved that they did toasted crumbs rather croutons. The short rib pizza was amazing, savory and tender tasty rib meat, but not overpowering. The fact that this spot is 50 minutes away will not deter us. Plus, there is a gorgeous Publix up there...so, groceries and dinner to go..win win! read more

Went here Sunday night, not many in attendance but it was great. I wouldn't have found this place if my neighbor hadn't wanted to try it and they drove. It is in a U shaped shopping center on the left right after 17 joins 52 in Moncks Corner. I was here when it was Rosetta's Spoul Food. The inside has been totally redone and is fresh. The food is outstanding and enough to fill you up. Definitely worth a try if you are near. Service was top notch. read more

We decided to start hitting some smaller local places and this was our stop this week. And boy are we glad it was!! When we first walked in we noticed how clean the place was. And the waitress was super friendly. Great first impression. Then I ordered a chicken and pasta dish and my husband ordered the cheesesteak. The food was DELICIOUS!!!! They were able to get my chicken juicy on the inside with a wonderfully crunchy outside with tons of flavor! The pasta was cooked just right and the flavoring spot on! And it came out looking so pretty! The cheesesteak was so good that he had none left to take home lol. We will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu! Great local find!!! read more

I ordered the salmon, unfortunately it came out after everyone else had gotten their food and had eaten, the waitress said because I wanted my salmon cooked it takes a long time, working in the service industry I never heard this before, a steak yes... salmon 4oz of salmon 30 min cook time?! I should have not ordered it when she asked me the temp for my salmon and then overly explaining some people get salmon rare. I felt like I was just in an alternate universe. Then there was the rice, that was a square that they deep fried and put the salmon on top of. What a waste of money! Everyone else was ok with what they ordered (a pizza and also a pasta dish) maybe I got the wrong thing but the attitude of the waitress and the timing of the food and quality it's not worth it. read more

We were there Friday night January 30th with a party of 4. When we arrived about 6:30 the line was out of the door. They were short staffed and we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. BUT......it was well worth it. Even though short staffed everyone working there was doing a great job with a smile on their face. They got some extra staff in, opened the back room and we were seated. We started off with the meatballs, and our waitress suggested the cheesesteak eggrolls. Both were delicious, we then moved on the pizza for the meal. I can't stress how well the staff handled an unfavorable situation and turned it into a great dining experience.
