I still am in shock from the last time. Additionally, when I ,left there I immediately got a "check tires" warning light up on my dashboard. My car tires take 35 lbs of air each & they had seriously overfilled the tires. They ranged from 47-55 lbs.!! This is after charging me about $1,000 for a "checkup" I didn't need or ask for. This is the most serious price gouging & or profiteering experience I've ever had in my 79 years. I feel this was much more than a miscommunication, it was a deliberate ripoff because of my age or because they could tell I didn't know much about car engines & had to trust that they were honest people. I don't think they are & I would advise caution to anyone who goes there for any reason or don't go at all.

It finally stopped at $74.10. The usual amount for filling my tank at 3/4 empty is $33.00-$35.00. (2024 Nissan Kicks.) I let the filling go past that amount because I know that gas prices have greatly risen during the past couple of weeks. An employee told me they were 50% higher. I asked for $$ back He went and got the manager who did some kind of test on the tank and agreed that it was out of order. He offered me 2 or 3 cents on the dollar. I refused. Told him I could bring in my credit card statements which would show previous amounts paid. He refused any other resolution. When I asked his name, he claimed it was Jose Colin. I think he invented it on the spot...I contacted the Bureau of Weights and Measures and they sent out a rep on Tues., 4-21-26. He called me and said he checked the pump and that it was working properly. I asked if it could have been altered or reset. He said "yes." ... That's it... It's depressing that some people think it's fine to take advantage of others.

I responded with saying that they knew we were waiting and decided to finish their conversation. He then proceeded to say "you can either wait or go somewhere else." Never have been spoken to by a gas station employee. Hoping management sees this and speaks to the guy. Super gross behavior that was uncalled for. All he had to say was "thanks for waiting" or "sorry for the holdup" and I wouldn't be writing this review.

The guy behind the counter wasn't very polite. We had given him a large bill to pay for gas, and wanted to add on a few bottles of water. The store wasn't as nice as it used to be, and snack foods are limited. The restrooms are ok, and excess parking is minimal. The pumps are easy to use, but the length of the actual hose is shorter than most other stations.
