The workers at the pharmacy itself are generally clueless and completely incompetent. All you're doing is ensuring your customers are as annoyed as possible every time they come in. It must make for a miserable experience for every one. Just provide better service. Add an option to simple skip the automated system and at least just go straight to leaving a voicemail for the pharmacy to call back from.

I called to transfer an prescription from a different Walgreens, the staff looked it up, said it was held up in the other store due to insurance charges, but then the next day they cleared it and got the prescription ready for it. That was very considerate and great service. When I came to get the 1st prescription, I had a second one to fill, it was incomplete (missing some key information) and the staff directed me to have my doctor's office call them... the issue was cleared in minutes. I waited about 20 minutes for the whole thing, which to me isn't unreasonable... During the process I sat right outside the pharmacy and saw how busy the staff was - phones were ringing constantly and many prescriptions seem to have issues! I imagine the operation of a pharmacy can be quite complex. But the few people who came during this short period seemed to have gotten what they wanted and left promptly. The store doesn't have a nice front entrance on Wilshire; you have to go to the back where there is a small entrance. The building seems a bit old but inside was clean and organized and the cashier on duty was friendly.

Usually, I just buy scratchie lottos from the machine...a simple joy in my life lol But I sometimes cash those same scratchie lottos at the cashier, and they are always nice. I've also bought a random drink or needed random item while here. This Sheltam Books is like an old school newsstand mixed with a convenience store mixed with a USPS Post Office. Yep, they have an official little outpost for buying stamps and mailing packages via regular mail. And they have tons of fun magazines on the shelves, tons of celebrity pop culture things that I didn't even now existed. One of my boyfriends Seth Rogen was on the cover of one! I actually read because of the owner's special connections, they get some unique & hard to find publications here. I've been here a bunch and had no issues, it's always met all of my needs with a smile. I'm so thankful to have a shop like this at the Farmers Market! There are always angry customers who have problems here, so I know it's not just me. Yesterday I had to call twice to fill a prescription and both times I was told it would be ready within an hour. I never received a text that it was filled or ready, so I had to wait until this morning when they opened to call again and check on it. They then told me they don't have the medication in stock, even though TWO people told me the day prior that they had it and that it would be filled within the hour. How is that acceptable?!?! I could have spent my time trying to fill it elsewhere instead of waiting for them to fill it like they said that they would, so I lost an entire day of waiting for nothing. The people who work here are incompetent, lazy and do not care. I am now out of my medication and had to scramble and literally spend more than an hour and a half trying to get it filled elsewhere. Additionally, I had to call this CVS 4x before I was able to talk to someone. I went through their automated system each time, then was on hold waiting for someone to answer, and each time about 4 minutes after being on hold it would hang up and disconnect the call. Like what??? I will never try to fill any prescription here again. Do not waste your time and get burned by these incompetent people. Literally any other CVS is better than this one.

I…read morecalled Kroger customer service regarding a credit for organic dried mangoes that i bought but got home and found they had a sticker on them that said they may contain lead and cause birth defects and reproductive harm. Kroger customer service said they would credit my $12 and add $10 for my inconvenience but they never did so i called back and after 30 minutes on the phone where Kroger corporate called this store manager the manager wouldn't approve the $12 credit and said i had to come in the store to discuss. Screw that. Not going to waste any more of my time. For $12 they lost a lifetime customer. Ralphs is more interested in creating a fortress to manage homeless than to service their paying customers. I'll go out of my way to avoid Ralph's in the future. Good bye and good riddance.
