When stopping at this busy Shell gas station to fill up my tank the pump wouldn't work and the message on screen said to see cashier inside to pay. I went into the small booth where the attendant was and informed her I want to pay cash to fill up. She asked how much do I want, I knew I needed about $25 to $30 worth of gas so I gave her $30 bucks and went back out to pump gas. The total after fill up came to $28. I had to go back into the small booth and asked cashier for the change and received $2. Afterwards I looked at the receipt and found it strange reading Cash $40 - Change Due $-10 Cash Due $-2. My receipt also says my cashier was Mike, when the cashier was female. Possibility of a typo??? If the owners want to message me I'd be happy to answer any questions. read more

Worst employee ever!!! I was hoping to get gas in here, but when I got to the pump, it wouldn't accept my card. While I made my way to the cashier, two people were looking at ice cream and took their sweet time. Then I inquired as to whether the pump was operational. I've used this station for more than 15 years. It has changed drastically in terms of personnel professionalism. The kiosk staff is very unfriendly. Such attitude! The pump cancelled my transaction once I opted to apply my Ralphs rewards points. Shady. I had to redo the transaction without using my rewards account. Of note, the prices displayed on the marquee are CASH prices. This hasn't been the case in the past. The prices posted were the prices you paid less any discounts. There are two gas stations further east of this station. My advice is to use them instead. read more

Poor service and poor attitudes. The gas prices on all signs indicated 4.49, with my Ralph rewards (0.20 saving/gallon) my price should have been 4.29c/gallon. Luckily, before pumping I checked to confirm the price which reads 4.59! So I went inside to explain to this piss poor cashier or dare i say Customer Service Representative, immediately he told me he would give me my money back. Began counting my cash back to me, then explained had I pumped the gas and waiting for the receipt the proper price would have shown on receipt. To which I asked why didn't he just say that before refunding my money and cancelling out my rewards savings! His response was that he didn't want any problems. Almost laughable but I was experiencing this in real time. So yes his resolution was to cause more irritation by processing an un requested refund and telling me to go to another gas station than to answer the question with the logical answer, "pump ur gas and ur receipt will reflect the correct pricing". Naturally my volume increased and I began to repeat what had just transpired. I've been using this station for a few years and always found the employees to friendly. It's convenient and the prices are acceptable considering they have no say in them. My one issue is they are ALWAYS on the phone. I was there on 12/26 and had no issue. THAT happened on 12/27 when I discovered someone had tried to access my ATM card. Thankfully, the bank caught it and declined it but, when I tried to call the station to let them know there might be a skimmer on one of their pumps, the line was busy for well over an hour. Ya see, guys, I don't have to do take this extra step. I'm trying to let you know about a problem that could affect your business. You might want to let your employees know the phone is there for a reason and it might not be to keep them entertained. read more

This station is pretty crappy. Old, worn out pumps with malfunctioning displays for your credit card. Dont expect to find any paper towels for washing your windows or checking oil. The squeegees for washing your windshield are filthy and falling apart, and I think the soapy water is probably months old and not clean. Prices are decent, so thats a reason to stop in, but you get what you pay for. The couple times I have went inside the store that resembles an old trailer haven't been pleasant. While driving to Irv's burger's, I pulled into this gas station to check on a weird noise my car had. When I got out, I noticed I had a flat tire. My friend went to go get our order while I tried to figure out what to do. When he came back 2 minutes later, an old male employee of this place comes out like a maniac and starts yelling at me that I parked there just to get burgers and that next time I will get a ticket and get towed. I tired to explain my situation, but he marched back inside the store and shut the service window in my face and ignored me like a child. I had no choice but to stay there and change my tire in the rain at night for over an hour. I've been going to this gas station for years now, it has the best customer service and with COVID now they have all the precautions you need. It's open 24 hours and it's safe to be around they are very honest and careful with the customers and over all their gas is cheap compared to the gas stations around. When I started writing reviews, I would have never thought that I would write a review about a gas station. This place is right next to my work, so this is where I go on the way home. I'm glad Shell took it over for various reasons: 1. They partnered with Ralphs and for 100 Ralphs Rewards Points you get 10 cent off per gallon. So, I basically save 50 cents each time, since the 100 Ralphs points costs you $1. Not a lot of savings, but it somehow still makes it more appealing and fun to be one of the privileged to get a gallon 10 cents cheaper than most everybody else. :-) 2. If you have a Shell credit card and get more than 50 gallons a month, you can save an additional 5 cents per gallon. 3. Ever since Shell took over, it seems to be cleaner and better kept. I know it's still owned by the same people, but it seems Shell checks upon them more often. 4. It really is cheaper by at least 10 cents than everywhere else. HOWEVER! And here's where my doubt lies. I always thought that the reason they can afford these REALLY cheap prices is that you actually need to put more gas in your tank (according to the dispenser) than usual. Here I can put 15 gallons in my tank when it's empty. At no other station I can put 15 gallons in my tank. What I'm thinking is that the amount that fits in your tanks is still the same, but this meter shows you more, so they can charge you more. I know it sounds crazy and more than likely Shell wouldn't allow this, but I just find it strange. Has anyone else thought of this before? I do not shop in the store, so I don't have any experience with the attendant or how well they're stocked. If I need to buy something at a gas station's convenience store or perhaps when I desperately need to use the restroom (which they don't have here), I would go to a much larger station where you can actually enter a store, not just stand in front of a window. But if all I need is gas, this station is perfect for me. read more

Someone needs to check their pumps. I only needed half a tank of gas (17 gallon tank). Somehow I ended up going to 13 gallons before it shut off and when I got in my car my range was only 300 miles. It's usually closer to 400 on a full tank. Something shady is going on here. Diluting their octane and manipulating pumps is my guess. Will never go back and you shouldn't either. This is a conveniently located gas station. They have competitive pricing on the gas. The primary issue this location struggles from is operational ineffectiveness. The credit card readers at the pump have malfunctioned numerous times and are unable to read ones card. Leaving one to continue to swipe the card as the machine continues to fail. They could invest in some updated equipment and repair broken machines in a more timely manner. Several customers are then relegated to going inside and waiting in a line to attempt to resolve the issue. Another odd observation is that there were about four employees packed inside the cash register area and none outside helping customers and resolving some of their gas pump issues. This location is poorly run yet it has so much potential to improve. Please update your equipment and improve customer service and this location could be so much improved. read more

This Exxon has recently been remodeled into a Shell station. Their prices are usually about 10cents cheaper than the nearby competition which is A-OK with me! Since they are in the middle of remodel, the credit card machines are not working so you have to pay the attendent. I'm usually happy with my neighborhood station but realize during the rain you have to be aware that the staff will park their scooter at the gas stand so it takes up a car spot. It's black and small so when I pulled in to get gas on a dark rainy night I almost hit it since it was close to the nozzle stations and not visible. When I told the staff member that it wasn't safe to have it parked like that he said 'I don't want my scooter to get wet and it's OK'. Arghh dumb people are annoying! Luckily I don't drive fast and am a careful driver but most people aren't! So beware of staff using the gas ports like parking places! read more

The customer service at this gas station is beyond terrible. I parked in the guest parking and went in to buy some chips and a drink. I didn't park at the pump because I didn't want to take up a pump spot. 3 minutes after my purchase I saw that I had a parking citation on my windshield. I took it, went in and asked "Mike" why I received it if I was a customer to which he replied with, " I didn't know you were parked there so when the parking enforcement came in I told them I had no clue who was parked there. I thought that was fair and since I had purchased something from the gas station, I could dispute the parking citation. After I put in an appeal, I found out the Mike was actually the person who called the parking enforcement and then lied to my face about calling them. read more

Worst service ever. I'm literally writing this in the parking lot as I'm still livid. I came in and asked for $24.60 of gas on my car. I had 22 in bills, 1 dollar coin, 4 quarters, 5 dimes and 10 pennies. The cashier says no more than $2 in coins. Ok, I take away $0.60. I hand him $24.00 (so there is only $2 in coins) and this time and he says "Don't give me pennies that's rude" um him having his cell phone to his ear while "helping" me is rude. Money is money I'm not asking for a free handout. Plus it wasn't even that much change. And there was literally no line as it's 12:30 in the afternoon.
