I went around and looked at the 5offerings... it was easy for me to choose it had to be quick so I ordered at aloha by the slice. single slice with a "twist" I say twist cause initially I wanted Sausage and humbly the worker (Teddy M) expressed nicely that they didn't have sausage and I asked for ham... now remember I wanted the "single" slice with one"topping" and no sausage but ham was available. If many of you follow my reviews... I don't care for Hawaiian pizza.... The last Hawaiian pizza I had was at "Spitfire Grill" in the Dukes lane Market and that got 5stars BECAUSE- it had pork grinds on the Hawaiian pizza - which by the way is really delicious and I found it an epic addition to the pizza The reason for my 5stars this time is because Teddy decided that he give me a Slice of Hawaiian pizza that has the "Ham" & Pineapple on it.... Even when I asked for the single topping slice... he was perhaps going above and beyond ((there was an impending line in back of me)) so he choose to take the slice already made warm it in the wood fire stove then take it and cut in half.... He did this for the right person... me!!!! Happiness to hit one customer with a slice that had two toppings... I will add that I realized this may not go as well for other people... but if your one to understand the food service part of it then you get where my 5stars comes from... I came here as a single parent to a 4 year and that context matters and you know what's up if you're a parent. Ate here on Friday night and Saturday night. Night 1, ordered slices from Aloha pizzeria and Hashi & Spoon (Karaage). Decent all the way around. Night 2 was strange. Ordered Karaage again (my 4 yo loves chicken). And tried to go to get Mexican food from La Pina, and short of saying I'm ready to order, I tried to make eye contact with any one of the 4 teenagers / young 20yos, to infer as much besides obviously standing in front of the register--they were more concerned with an inside joke between each other to bother with me and my son. After waiting a full minute with still acknowledgment, I counted down from 10 out loud to my son and when I reached zero with still no acknowledgment, I dipped. Maybe that was ok, because the al pastor was the only thing that looked somewhat fresh. Went to Greek grotto instead and boy, you really pay the penalty tax for eating right there in Waikiki. Not only was one of the orders wrong despite asking and the workers correcting each other, the gyro plate was abysmally small. Barely 3 oz of gyro meat. I didn't find out all of this till I opened up the container at our hotel room. Irritated, I couldn't go back because I've got a tired 4 yo. The chicken karaage was slightly burnt, which means the outer crust was a tinge bitter, and mostly cornmeal, totally different from yesterday, which also disappointing. Not coming back. Only giving two stars because the service at Aloha Pizzeria was solid and the pizza crust tasted good even cold the next day. read more

Went to the International Marketplace today, Sunday morning. Doors opened at 0700a, probably due to the start of the 2025 NFL season, as usually their operating hours are between 0800a - 0900p, daily. Went to the sports bar...located in the rear middle, near the restrooms. Four screens adorn each side of the supporting column. I am a Patriots ( I apologize beforehand ) fan and requested to watch the Raiders v. Pats game. Bartender was nice enough to switch from the PIT/NYJ match...she's a Steelers fan. Kitchen opens at 0800a. Small but big enough menu...I requested the NY Steak and Eggs Plate. Ordered the steak cooked medium-rare and the two eggs, over easy. Also, comes with two hash browns - looks like the type one gets at McD's. Steak came medium-rare...y'all don't know how many times I've ordered medium-rare ( though I am not a steak lover ) only to get medium or worse...medium-well. It was good. I don't usually imbibe...so I got a cup of water. Excellent service. read more

This is the food hall located in the world famous 'International Market'. This was right down the street from our hotel so we thought we'd check it out today. Tons of shops in the mall :) This food court has a lot of options; hoagies, burritos, pizza, noodles etc and this bar sits somewhat in the center (Shaka bar) We did not do food as it was 2:30p but we did partake in happy hour drinks. Cheehoo BBQ is serving up some serious smoked soul in a small shop that delivers big flavor. I grabbed the BBQ platter and let me tell you--it was absolutely bomb! The pork ribs were fall-off-the-bone perfection, the brisket and sausage were rich and flavorful, the pulled pork was juicy, and the Korean short ribs? Tender and drenched in a sauce so good you'll seriously consider licking the plate. The sides were solid: the potato salad was good, the mac and cheese was extra creamy and really hit the spot, and while the baked beans missed the mark (tasted more like chili than classic baked beans), everything else made up for it. And don't forget the fresh Hawaiian roll--soft, sweet, and the perfect finishing touch. Service was great--friendly and welcoming--but do note it's a small team working out of a food hall, so be patient. The wait is definitely worth it. The best part? All of this deliciousness came out to around $20-$25 with tax, and the platter was easily shareable with leftovers to spare. This place is in the International Market Place off Kuhio Ave, right across from Kona Coffee Purveyors. We came here for Il Gelato but it has various foods in the food court from pizza to burgers. Service was good, the gal was nice and helpful. It gets kinda loud in here depending on when you go and they also have live music certain hours which was a nice surprise. read more

So many choices with food and beverages. From different battled waters to sodas , juices and health drinks for energy body and mind. I One stop shop. Pizza, burgers, wings, Fish, noodles, handmade sandwiches, tacos... Service was great . My wife asked questions about which items we could eat a vegetarian and every cashier pointed us in the right direction. Plenty of TV's and great music. Uplifting and not depressing. Is a really cool food hall that has many options. I really enjoy getting their asset evil balls and my boyfriend enjoyed getting their tacos. Even though we're from San Diego and have a lot of great tacos there these were pretty decent for being in Hawaii as well. A little bit of everything, a few bars, ample seating, restroom and plenty of sports on around the place. The bar looks fun, the ramen looked good, the gelato was perfect and had unique flavors native to Hawaii. Wish I had more time to visit. Will be back again to get more than just gelato. read more

What a great, interesting, fun place. This is a space with multiple vendors (including bars) where you order from who you want and sit anywhere. If you are with a group, people can go to different vendors and get what they like. I eat at Hashi & Spoon (Ramen) and sat at the bar. They even have a local stout, and it was quite good. Kuhio Food Hall. The Casual Hawaiian Food Bazaar. There are so many places to try in this location. One day was pizza by the slice. A few days later I found myself eye balling a smoked turkey leg. This is no regular turkey leg. This leg is like jurassic size. OMG. I checked out the BBQ restaurant and I was amazed. For $20 a jurassic turkey leg with 2 sides and a roll. I added a 3rd side. This review is about the overall experience at Kūhiō Ave. Food Hall and the Cafe Waikiki, which has no independent Yelp page. The seating area was nice but not very big. The tables look really nostalgic. We loved the soothing music from the 80's. It felt like back in the old days. The restroom was clean but can be tidy up a bit. The entrance is located next to Chee Hoo BBQ. We have tried 3 restaurants at Kūhiō Ave. Food Hall. Can't really compare them from each other because they serve different things. Hospitality was uniform. I felt more aloha than other restaurants. Now, let's talk about my crepe I ordered at Cafe Waikiki. I didn't like it because the crepe was dry and hard. It broke my biodegradable fork as I tried to slice a piece. The edible orchard flower was very fresh, though. I would love to return to try more restaurants during my stay. read more

Beware of the pizza spot inside this food hall! It was dinner time, and like everyone else, we were trying to figure out where to eat. We found this food hall on Yelp and decided to check it out since it offered a variety of options--Mexican, Greek, local eats, pizza, and bars. At first glance, the atmosphere seemed promising. I got in line at the Greek food counter, but after standing there for 20 minutes with no staff in sight, and about 10 other people walking up asking, "Is anyone working here?" I finally gave up. No sign, no explanation--just an abandoned counter during peak dinner hours. So I walked over to the pizza place, which looked like the only option left. The guy working there seemed busy but capable--he was multitasking, taking and filling orders. But the young woman helping him was clearly overwhelmed and untrained. She had a thick accent (which wasn't the issue), but her communication and accuracy were seriously lacking. She rang me up for two slices of pizza--$25. For what ended up being stale, hard pizza... totally not worth it. And then the real kicker--when I went to pick up my order, she handed me an EMPTY pizza box. I said, "Excuse me, there's nothing in here," and she just looked at me like I was crazy. I even turned the box upside down in front of the other customers--completely empty! People around me were visibly shocked. Thankfully, the guy stepped in and said, "Oh yeah, your pizza's right here," but still--how does that even happen? Bottom line: The overall food hall vibe is okay. The Greek food was inaccessible. The pizza was overpriced, dry, and disappointing. The service--especially from that young girl--was chaotic and careless. Save your time, money, and sanity. Skip the pizza counter. read more

Multiple businesses, all under one roof, different specialties. Got a good soup at one place, but the tacos at the Mexican place facing the Kuhio Ave was best. However, don't get tricked into any of the steak or meat tacos - they are quite chewy (meat quality is quite low). But the fish tacos are super flavorful no matter which "catch of the day" they use for the tacos. An small problem is their beer (ncold enough for my taste). Good variety of food in the heart of Waikīkī. You can get burgers and short rib, Birria and falafels. What a great place for groups with different cravings. We got all of those things and everything was good! Just was really crowded since it's popular and it's definitely tourist pricing. Cheehoo BBQ, Greek Grotto, Aloha Pizzeria and Cafe Waikiki. What's nice about this food hall is that there is a good variety of food to choose from. From Hawaiian inspired burgers to chicken tenders and Greek food, I feel that there is something for everyone. Seating is plentiful but I did notice that in the evenings; this place can get quite packed. Lunch is a bit more mellow. One other thing that I wanted to note is if you want water; you should bring your own water. There is no water dispenser and not all of the eateries will provide water. Overall great location at the International Marketplace and I quickly found myself as the Duchess on Yelp of this Kuhio Food Hall during my last trip to Honolulu. read more

On a recent trip to Oahu, we stopped to walk around the International Marketplace, which is a really nice indoor-outdoor mall on Kalakaua Ave in Honolulu. The Kuhio Food Hall is like a food court in that there are several restaurants to choose from. When you are ready to order, you just go up to the counter and place your order with a person. It's small, so when you're done ordering, you have to step out of the way for the next person in line. The wait wasn't too bad on a Saturday night, but I think we were lucky. We decided on the Banzai Loco Moco and Mushroom + Onion burger. You can choose to dining inside or outdoors along the sidewalk. The night we eat here, there was a street performer, who wasn't really that good. The food was a good portion side. Flavors were on point. Once you're done, it's best to be on your way if it's peak mealtime. read more

The worst food court we've ever been to. We tried the burger, fries, Turkey/bacon & Avocado hoagie, cheese & supreme pizza, birria beef tacos, chicken gyoza and chicken karaage. Nothing was good- everything was either hard, soggy, bland or messy especially the "Hawaiian style" hoagie- it was a mess to eat, they added too much oil & vinegar, which made the bread soggy. The pizza was very disappointing- they were super thick and tasteless. My kids said it was worse than their school lunch pizza and I personally had better frozen pizza than that. Birria taco shells were soggy, the beef in it was chewy & overcooked. Fries, fried chicken, and dumpling skin were all hard. Not to mention, the service was terrible and ridiculously slow at every single vendor. Never again! read more

We asked management if they could turn down the music a little. The reaction was, " No, we can't. It's part of our atmosphere". Their atmosphere is more important than their customers comfort. The Kūhiō Food Hall is located inside the International Market Place mall on Kūhiō Avenue. It's not the biggest food court but it has a variety of options including Mexican, pizza, burgers, ramen, tacos, and gelato. Most of the shops opens at 11am but a smoothie and açaí bowl spot (Cafe Waikiki) opens earlier. There's also a cool little open-air bar called Tipsy Tiki (where Myna Bird Tiki used to be). There's something for everyone and it's a decent food hall. read more
