    Shrimp Quesadilla

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Excellent Lunch Spot for your family![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband, son, Mother and I stopped for a quick lunch after shopping and it was better than expected. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their spot is downstairs next to a surf shop and the vibe is lowkey during the day and plenty of room for a stroller.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered a guava & passionfruit mimosa and they were so tasty and refreshing. My mom ordered a steak salad, my husband ordered the steak appetizer and I ordered the shrimp quesadilla. The steak was cooked perfect for both of their dishes and my shrimp quesadilla was delicious. Great portion sizes and friendly service. The only minor inconvenience was no ramp to their downstairs from what i could see but the food was amazing nonetheless. I would recommend this place and would definitely come back for their quesadilla.

Went here first Happy Hour. Bar tender was great and made good Mai Tai. Did not try any of the food for Happy Hour. Returned twice for Happy Hour.

Their Food is good but too pricey and small portion. But their staff are very nice and accommodating. 1 serving of their loco moco you can buy 2 big servings of Korean beef just across the street beside ABC

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A rather small place with a few outdoor tables, a few indoor tables and an indoor bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the Sampler Platter with Hibachi Steak, Coconut Shrimp, Tropical Shrimp Civiche and the Fresh Ahi Tuna (their description, not mine) Tataki. The coconut shrimp and shrimp ceviche were very good. The steak was just ok, a bit tough and some gristle. However, that was the best ahi tataki I've ever had! We had decent service, too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Typical Hawaiian style decor, but still fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had a good time here.

Food: A-. The Bloody Mary's are just what the doctor ordered...especially the morning after our birthdays with me turning the big 5-0...WTF! The pancakes were delicious and the Benedict was good. This place is my man's favorite of all of the restaurants we went to in the 2 months we were in Waikiki. Service: A. Our server was super sweet once she came to our table. She made us feel special with it being the day after our birthday and made great conversation about us having the same birthday. Ambiance: A. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside which is just rained so the hostess gave us a choice of where we sat and made sure it was dry.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My boo says this place is always friendly and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was his main go-to while I was working 72 hour weeks. Dietitian Dorothy's Nutrition Tip: split these big portions and if you order the pancakes have your dining partner order the eggs and steak dish to balance the carb rush with plenty of protein.

We stopped by right after getting to our hotel for their happy hour from 3-6pm. We ordered a mai tai and a Maui beer. We had two dishes from the happy hour apps -- the coconut shrimp and the tuna tataki. The ambiance was lively. They played jazz/hawaiian Christmas music, and the server/host was attentive. It was pretty lively, especially since it's located downstairs next to a surf shop. It was interesting seeing the local surf culture alongside enjoying our meal. I would recommend if you need a quick stop during happy hour!

We stopped by for a quick drink and happy hour appetizer, and ended up spending three hours at this location. We were blessed by Phil and Nick's beautiful version of a Hawaiian sound to some of the greatest hits. Their reasonable price drinks and favorable appetizer went above and beyond our expectations. This will now be a permanent stop of ours when visiting Hawaii.

Great service, great food, and great drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Little hole in the wall place on a lower level from the street with a Waikiki beach/pier theme.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Mimosas, steak, rice, etc. were all great and came out very quickly and hot from the kitchen. Would recommend this place.

The lady on the main strip handing out menus and telling everyone to eat there totally got us! Lol We were hungry walking around in the morning looking for food and we just took it as a sign. The price for the food is a bit pricey. The food was ok. The local boy omelette was my favorite dish out of the 3 we got. Steak and eggs was good, kids enjoyed the eggs , steak was a bit chewy though. Banana Mac pancakes kind of regular, but did hit the spot for my pancake craving. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating outside was pretty easy with a stroller just didn't really like that there was some unsafe looking people walking by.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was quick and they were attentive. Again just the scenery did it for me. The price, for the type of food served was on the pricier side but they had some coupons from the lady on the strip passing out and they do offer Kamaaina.

Such a cute brunch spot we came to try the famous pancakes and dyeing happy hour the staff are very kind we enjoyed the pancakes would recommend coming during happy hour the drinks were good

We were handed a flyer and 10% off coupon while walking around to look for breakfast. So we checked it out. This place is good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We ended up having rare steak and over easy eggs. The steak and eggs were cooked perfectly. The size of the breakfast (steak and eggs) is good for sharing. Maybe just order an extra side of eggs. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We chose outdoor seating for two. Birds were waiting for food to fall on the ground.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I do recommend paying with cash since they charge a fee when using a credit card.

ShoreFyre Beach Bar + Grill's happy hour was not it....... I think ShoreFyre has such a great location at the International Market Place, but it was a disappointing happy hour for me. I ordered the Hibachi Steak Happy Hour and paid +$4 to upgrade my rice to fried rice. It was a $19 happy hour meal that looked pretty, but the meat I got were literally 75% pieces of steak fat. The fried rice was not throughly cooked and not flavored well. It wasn't consistent and was not worth +$4 up charge. I think this was the worst happy hour I visited.... I had so much hope. The service was also fair! I will say, the Coconut Shrimp was delicious! My husband ordered it and it was delicious, but RUN AWAY FROM HIBACHI STEAK! Just because it is "happy hour" doesn't mean I should be getting the fattiest pieces only.... Worst $19 I spent on island. Sorry not sorry Visit ShoreFyre when it's "fyre by night." I won't ever be back here for food, only to dance! It's so fun at night! It is the place to be

An out-of-the-way gem. Credit to the girls preparing the food. They make it look easy. Nice selection of tropical drinks and food choices. I went with two appetizers and it was plenty, but there are so many choices. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Music and open air atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Check it out.

Had a glass of wine and baby had watered down lemonade. Her drinks were put in plastic cups with covers and those horrible paper straws. Eyes always bigger than my stomach, we ordered: - Cornbread - when i grabbed it I thought would be super dense but really wasn't. I thought it was very corny and tasty. Lightly toasted. Honey drizzle which wasn't too sweet...or maybe I just ate the parts that didn't have. Baby ate almost 1.5 pieces and even liked the Jalapeno Butter that I just dabbed on her bread. She said wasn't spicy but think she just didn't have enough. - Bone Marrow - lit it on fire to burn off the alcohol. Pretty sure it ddin't get it all so I cut baby off once I realized it. Other than needing some salt, really good. Choke mushrooms on top. One half was scrawny, but hubs had the other half for leftovers and choke marrow. YUM. - Sunchoke and Brussels - YUM. Baby ate some but was not really thrilled about it. I loved it. - Scallop and Mushroom Risotto - YUM. Delish. Baby liked it too. So much leftovers of everything. Realized when we ate it for leftovers it was all pretty oily and needed a pinch of salt. But otherwise great. Staff really nice and helpful. Love that the place is spread out and open. Bathrooms are not assigned which I'm sure can get gross, but is great to not have to wait for just the women's. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. The Duck Confit was yummy! I thought the duck was going to be super dry, but when you eat it with the jam that came with it, it's very good. I requested for a little bit more of the jam but was given just balsamic glaze... My friend said her scallop risotto was watery and not the same as the last time she went. My bfs prime rib was okay. Bone marrow was okay. The chicken pasta, octopus appetizer, salad, and mac n cheese were lacking flavor and tasted okay. I would recommend dining here if you do not have plans after.

Before Scratch Kitchen, there was Sugar Cane, and if I reach far enough back, I'm pretty sure a Mexican restaurant lived there too. It's one of those spaces where you hope the next place finally sticks. But the food at Scratch Kitchen? Absolutely delicious. The kind of meal where the pictures alone make your mouth water. If "smell‑a‑vision" or "lick‑your‑screen" technology existed, everyone would understand exactly what I mean. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully done, and perfect for a Mother's Day treat. Which is why I can't help but wonder what happened -- like so many restaurants before them in that same location. With food that good, you'd hope they'd be the ones to break the cycle. We ordered the short ribs, lobster appetizer, hamachi crudo and lastly sashimi moriawase to finish food palate. Lukki lemon dessert was great way to end to night. Ordered the Milk tea bouquet cocktail while my better half had water ( either way the food coma knock him out cold the rest of the night lol). To be honest, it was difficult to determine which dish was the best because the staff kept quality there despite it being busy every night since they announce the closure. Sashimi moriawase, fish was so fresh, reminded me of my time spent in Hokkaido and Sapporo. Short ribs was soft and rich in flavor.
