I was in town visiting a friend and had some time to spare while she was working. I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon with no appointment. They quoted $30 for no chip/shellac manicure and $28 for regular polish pedicure. I upgraded the pedicure to the $33 option in order to get a sea salt scrub and massage and it was WORTH IT!!. The nail techs were friendly, did a FANTASTIC job with the polish and exceptional massages! Additionally, their pedicure massage chairs gave me a fantastic shiatsu style massage that almost put me to sleep. I highly recommend LA Nail salon. They were efficient, very reasonably priced IMO, and most importantly, gave me a perfect pedicure amd shellac manicure. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely come back. I plan on recommending this nail salon to my friend who works in the area. read more

I am very disappointed with this salon. I made an appointment for 1:30 pm and ended up waiting until 2:10 pm when I finally decided to leave. 40. Minutes. Of. Waiting. They didn't apologize or even acknowledge that they were wrong. I planned my entire day around this appointment and they had no regard for wasting my time. I have been a long time customer at this nail salon. Service used to be excellent and it has gone so downhill. The last few appointments I have had they were late. My first trip there and was looking for a new go-to place. Was sat with a very polite girl and asked for the exact same thing I came in with on my nails. I had a set a few weeks old with acrylic and outlined in gel, no design or anything tough. Took her almost 2 hours to pry my old set off and give me almost the opposite of what I asked for. Thankfully I stopped her just in time from covering my entire nail, rather than just an outline. She knew I hated them, didn't care because she already had another lady waiting in on her. My nails look absolutely awful and I'm still picking the globs of acrylic off the bottom of my nails (which I was doing the entire time she was working on them). When she asked if they were alright I told her no, that they weren't at all what I asked for she slopped polish on them real quick and checked me out. We were told a 15 minute wait time upon walking in, which was pretty accurate. I got a gel manicure which was one of the best gel manicures I've ever gotten. I wanted my nails shaped short and round and commonly they never get cut as short or round as I like, but this was exactly what I wanted. She was very precise on the painting and efficient. Absolutely disgusting service. My Mother and I walked in and a male worker asked us about the services we wished to receive. After stating our desired services we were rushed to hurry and select a nail posh color ( not a lot of choices and most were dried out and old). I was seated in the pedicure chair with my Mother next to me. I wanted a pedicure and my Mother wanted her nail polish color changed. In the meantime several others walked. My mother patiently waited but was NEVER serviced. After the lady completed my pedicure she went to the back. Never once attending to my seventy year old mother. Another customer walks in for a pedicure, one of non color and was serviced IMMEDIATELY. I literally brought this situation to her attention and was ignored. So, I've gone to this salon 3 times in the last 5 months. The service is awesome. I love Tracy. But, I was today years old when I realized that I've been charged .90 each time I swipe my card there. I'm rang up an even number service of $30. I leave an even numbered tip and I sign the receipt with an even number. Today, for the first time, I noticed I was charged an additional .90 but it doesn't say for what. Additionally, when I looked back on my previous charges I was charged the same .90 without warning, notification or a hint from LA Nail Salon. There is nothing posted in the store either. If this is a merchant fee, shouldn't the business pay it? If a business is going to pass their merchant fee to the customer, shouldn't they share that with the customer? I believe they owe me $2.70 of hidden fees. Seems petty til I've been going every month for years and get swindled out of .90 every month, right? Check your receipts folks. read more

I had been in this location a few times prior to this last experience I had there. I called to make sure they had 2 pedicure opening for my friend and I. From the time we arrived they were incredibly rude especially to My friend an, African American female with her 4 Year old. So We already didn't like that. It's 2021 just don't be racist it's not that hard. My pedicure gets started. my friend is waiting for a very long time bc they did have some other guests which I understand. But they refused to turn on her water or anything. and was giving her a hard time about her daughter being in her lap. She wasn't trying to mess with anything she was watching a show. The salon was very clean and their chairs were comfy, unlike other salons. Upon entering...it was completely silent, no one greeted me or told me to sign in or anything. There were 2 people getting manicures and 4 getting pedicures and no one even looked up to greet me! WTH?! I stuck it out cuz I needed some maintenance my piggy talons!! Sign says gem pedi $35 and up, gel mani $30 and up. No mention on the menu if they do a normal pedi, assuming they do. It appears you can also receive waving treatments here. 5 minutes have gone by. No one directed me to where if find a color or even asked what I'd like to receive. This better be a damn fine pedi! Ok...they win. Pedi is AMAZING!! Get the deluxe because the massage is worth the extra dollars. Literally could have slept in the chair. They brought me a basket of gel colors to choose from and, holy wow, they have Final price for a Deluxe Gel Pedi $45.00 This was a nice long soak, exfoliating scrub, paraffin wax, hot towels, and, not 1, but 2 massages! Do you think it's somewhat rude that they have a conversation in Vietnamese right in from of you And don't say much to their customer? That was sort of rude. if you're a man wanting to get a pedicure, for whatever reason they charge $5 more than the advertised price. I got the Paraffin treatment. My technician came out with very little wax in the baggies! So cheap! Im Paying for that???? They don't offer refreshments like the other place I got to. I used to go to this location back in 2006-2007 to get pedis. They were always great so I came back over this holiday season to get a pedicure and my nails done with shellac. The pedicure turned out great but my manicure was a different story. The girl put the polish on as if she was trying to save money and put as little on as possible. It made the dark color uneven. Finally, another girl came over to watch her do my nails and, I assume, said something about the poor job she was doing because she went back over some of the nails she had already completed. Never thought I'd be writing negatively about this place on Yelp, but the last 3 visits have simply been horrible and I must tell about it. The people who work here are not the same people who gave top notch service in the past. The few who are still there seem to be management and/or "already have an appointment set up" when you request them. So those who do the best work have their "select" clientele it seems......and that's all fine and dandy, but in the meantime the other workers have SCOWLS ON THEIR FACES and talk Vietnamese code while you are sitting there feeling as if they are talking shit about YOU. So besides these issues, the other major mentions are 1. I took my own bottle of nail polish in with me. When I brought it out of my purse I mentioned it to the technician. Of course she acted like she understood, but in reality had no clue what I was talking about because when she was finished using the polish, placed it near her on her side of the table and then when I told her it was my polish she told her manager, the manager looked at the code on the bottom of the bottle and went to check the codes of the other bottles I guess to see if they came from the same batch. Yes, I was insulted.....they basically called me a liar without saying the words. What is worse is....I had a bunch of unopened OPI nail polish that I DONATED TO THEM a few weeks earlier. I said that too, I said....I GAVE you nail polish....why would I steal a bottle of nail polish or ANYTHING. Assholes. Finally, I just took a friend there last night to buy them a pedicure for Christmas. My friend is diabetic and you cannot cut or hurt their feet. This old battle ax of a technician is who he got. I've had her before. What a grouchy old hag this lady is. Well, bottom line.....she nicked his toe and gave a very hard massage. He said he wanted to tell her to stop but didn't want to ruin the Christmas gift and good time we were having chatting while having pedicures. It's clean and they do a great job on nails no doubt, my only problem is that it can take a long time to get a mani and pedi. They do a very detailed job which is great but don't expect to be in and out in an hour, it'll prob be closer to 2 hours.
