Obviously every mechanic shop we called was already closed for the holiday. Mr. Brown called me back and we were able to get the van to him. Our cabin was 45 minutes away and we had no luck with Uber. He took our family of 5 back to our cabin. He worked that evening and had our van repaired by 7:15 the next morning so we could enjoy our last day of vacation. Brown's automotive went waaaay above and beyond to help us while over 400 miles from home. What a blessing!

One of her roommates' dad came out and changed the starter for her, but it still wouldn't start. I found Brown's Automotive on Google and had the car towed there based on proximity to her house and Google reviews. When I got there I told him that we just put a brand new starter on it, but it still wasn't starting. I told him that I lived out of town, so I needed it repaired quickly. He said he would look at it, but has a mandatory $150 for the first hour. I said ok. He called me and said the new starter was faulty and had to replace it. He did, then called back and said his starter didn't fix the problem either and thought it was the ignition. He said it would take time because it is hard to get to. Well, I didn't hear from him in 2 days. I texted and no response. I called and he just said same thing "I'm working on it, but think it's the ignition." I didn't hear from him again for several days, so her dad called him. He told him that he couldn't work on the car because it was raining and he works on cars outside. I told him he lied to you because he has a big shop with 2 bays. After having the car for exactly 7 days, he finally calls me and says "There is nothing more I can do. I think its the ignition, but to test it I have to take the steering column apart, if I do that I mine as well just replace it." So basically since the day he got it, he changed out a brand new starter that we just put on it and did nothing else with it. Just let it sit for 6 days. So I told him I was going to have it towed somewhere else. He charged me $460. I knew immediately that he was screwing me over, but I just wanted my car back and to finally go home so I paid it. I looked at the receipt and saw he charged $160 for the part which I new was right, the $150 for the labor which he told me in advance about, and then $150 for diagnosis. He didn't diagnose anything because he never touched the car after the starter. Then I noticed at the bottom of the receipt he wrote "car won't start ignition?" Was that what I paid $150 for? That is NOT a diagnosis! The new mechanic sent me a video to show he didn't even put the heat cover over the starter he installed (see attached pictures). So he also screwed me over for the $150 half-ass installation he did. What a crook! Do NOT waste your money. I think all of these positive reviews are just family and friends of his and not real customers.

He freely shares anything you need to know about the process and his communication whether it is via text, videos, emails or phone calls sets a very high bar. I recently visited to inquire about getting my new 2024 Kia Telluride ceramic coated and decided on the top-level 9-year Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra product with a basic level paint correction. The shop had a special on window coatings so I added that for a small additional fee. During the application process, Preston contacted me to share a rare challenge they sometimes have with Black vehicles the 9-year coating was not working as expected and they would need to use the 5-year Crystal Serum Light but would also add a second level coating of EXOV4Uitra Durable Hydrophobic Coating to create the best coating, protection and shine possible given the circumstances. Like I told Preston, I was disappointed that could not get the 9-year coating and yet I appreciated his explaining a few times so I could understand what was happening and I appreciated working with me to make appropriate adjustments even though the shop encountered extra labor on the second coat. The real story here is the team at EZ Auto Spa does an awesome job and treats customers fairly and in turn they earned my trust that I got the best product possible for my vehicle given the challenges they encountered. At the end of the day when purchasing a product like this, trust goes a long way and that's why Preston and EZ Auto Spa earned 5 stars from me.

Wow, this is probably the…read moregreatest car care establishment I have ever been too, and I've been to QUITE a few, and run into various different experiences, typically horrible or horribly mediocre. Everyone here is super professional, extremely welcoming, honest and upfront, just all around amazing individuals, which I am not used to, usually places I have frequented only have one of those attributes, but it's an astronomically impressive feat to have ALL. Firstly, the communication they have with their customers and potential clients who may just have questions, is SUPERB! My sister's car door scraped the side of mine, and it had some ugly scrapes that were clearly visible since my car is unfortunately white and shows everything, and I'm hoping to trade it in soon, so this was not something I wanted to deal with but I needed help ASAP. My sister spoke with Preston, whom was AMAZING and supremely helpful; she had called numerous places before this one, but EZ Auto Spa caught our attention with their exceptional customer care and expert communication, without being a shred of vague or condescending, which we have experienced both of at other companies. Preston went above and beyond with his communication and informed her of every possible detail with perfect explanation of: when, where, what to do, how to acquire the right paint, their operating hours, and the best steps moving forward to get my car repaired, which was so very appreciated and extremely beneficial! When I got there, I was assisted immediately, and I was so impressed with their exceptional teamwork and hospitality! I had the pleasure of being introduced to Mark, and he was the lifesaver to work on my car. He METICULOUSLY worked on my car, and I am so grateful for his exceptional work and customer care, and also to all the employees here who make each customer feel important and worth their time.     We had an issue with our brand new 2026 Palisade, and needed to wait to be able to fix our…read morewindshield since a replacement was not readily available. Once they confirmed the arrival, we came to this location since it needed calibration and was greeted by Tricia, who was really friendly, helpful and professional. She knew my parents from setting up the appointment, and was super helpful when I came to drop the vehicle off. Said she would call when it was completed, and sure enough the estimated time was on the dot. Michael was the technician that replaced the windshield and he did a great job too. I wondered if the Peach Pass and I-pass from IL would be transferred, and it was handled as if I put new ones on! Michael was also very kind to my parents, and that always gives me a comforting feeling since they're elderly. I was very happy with everything. We were touch late with traffic when picking up the car. Ian (the manager) and Tricia were both still there, waiting for us. Didn't give any grief, was so pleasant to deal with this entire situation. They direct billed our auto insurance so we paid our comp deductible and we were on our way. Nobody is ever in a good mood when you have a crack, chip, or need a replacement windshield. However, this location made it pleasant to go thru this, and helpful enough to remind me to go back if I never need anything done. Super grateful to the team here!
