She knew my parents from setting up the appointment, and was super helpful when I came to drop the vehicle off. Said she would call when it was completed, and sure enough the estimated time was on the dot. Michael was the technician that replaced the windshield and he did a great job too. I wondered if the Peach Pass and I-pass from IL would be transferred, and it was handled as if I put new ones on! Michael was also very kind to my parents, and that always gives me a comforting feeling since they're elderly. I was very happy with everything. We were touch late with traffic when picking up the car. Ian (the manager) and Tricia were both still there, waiting for us. Didn't give any grief, was so pleasant to deal with this entire situation. They direct billed our auto insurance so we paid our comp deductible and we were on our way. Nobody is ever in a good mood when you have a crack, chip, or need a replacement windshield. The issue was the wipers were not calibrated, and they damaged my vehicle when I tried to use them. Once I had they repaired outside of Safelite, I noticed the wiper fluid supply line was not reconnected. Safelite wanted me to wait FIVE days before they would come out to resolve an issue they created. This was a safety issue and I had it repaired at my expense.

He was able to vacuum out broken glass, replace the window, and return the vehicle exactly to the condition it was before the window was broken in the first place. The tech warned me before starting that on old cars, things like plastic molding may not survive the work. I accepted the risk, because my windshield was horrible and needed replacing. He removed some plastic molding around the windshield and told me he wasn't able to put it back because it was damaged. He did inform me that if I took the car in, they would cover the labor of putting in new molding (which is cosmetic - the windshield replacement was done). Well, when I took it in another tech looked at the work and very plainly said "this was done incorrectly and it's our fault the molding was damaged. We'll take care of it." Apparently the tech who did the windshield replacement had caused the damage to the molding by taking it off improperly. They ordered the parts and installed the new molding. So, while I was obviously not pleased with the damage from the initial install, I was impressed by their transparency and willingness to own up to the mistake and do the work to make it right. Too often, businesses will fight you and try to find ways not to honor their work. So, a tip of the hat to the team in Marietta.

Took my car to the dealership, not realizing that these issues stemmed from the windshield itself. After just a visual inspection, the dealership told me the glass had been placed incorrectly, that it was sitting just a little too low in the window frame and that this was the cause of the issues I was experiencing. Well, Safelite is supposed to have a lifetime guarantee on their work for as long as I own the car, so the dealership and my insurance company both said to take it back to Safelite to have it fixed. As soon as I showed up to the shop, the guy working here starts telling me how the techs at the dealership "do not know what they are talking about" and how Safelite is not responsible for the malfunctions, even though I had a report from the dealership explaining exactly what the problem was accompanied with a video and detailed explanation. He also said he "could do me a favor and take a look" even though I had this appointment booked for several weeks before today. He followed that up with any cost incurred would be out-of-pocket since I took my car to the dealership and had them look at the vehicle, even though the dealership never actually worked on the windshield and just performed a visual inspection. Zero accountability. Zero professionalism. Zero customer service. Zeroes across the board.
