We had an issue with our brand new 2026 Palisade, and needed to wait to be able to fix our windshield since a replacement was not readily available. Once they confirmed the arrival, we came to this location since it needed calibration and was greeted by Tricia, who was really friendly, helpful and professional. She knew my parents from setting up the appointment, and was super helpful when I came to drop the vehicle off. Said she would call when it was completed, and sure enough the estimated time was on the dot. Michael was the technician that replaced the windshield and he did a great job too. I wondered if the Peach Pass and I-pass from IL would be transferred, and it was handled as if I put new ones on! Michael was also very kind to my parents, and that always gives me a comforting feeling since they're elderly. I was very happy with everything. We were touch late with traffic when picking up the car. Ian (the manager) and Tricia were both still there, waiting for us. Didn't give any grief, was so pleasant to deal with this entire situation. They direct billed our auto insurance so we paid our comp deductible and we were on our way. Nobody is ever in a good mood when you have a crack, chip, or need a replacement windshield. However, this location made it pleasant to go thru this, and helpful enough to remind me to go back if I never need anything done. Super grateful to the team here! My husband made an appointment to have his windshield replaced. He made the appointment online for a specific time. When we got there he was told they would just have to fit in his car. This was a Saturday. The day went by and no call. So we were out of a car since they are closed Sunday. Once my husband was able to get someone on the phone after 20 minutes on Monday morning he was told the service was not done because it had to be done at the dealership. Back window shattered and needed replaced. Technician had great communication and was very nice. I don't if it was my technician or if Safelite does not supply them with the proper tools to protect your vehicle from scratches and the mess they make when having to remove glass. I'm not talking about average glass shards I'm talking ridiculous amounts and residual really fine pieces I cannot get out of back rear dash. Also I had so much glass all over my vehicle the tech scratched the hell out of my trunk lid as he set his shop vacuum up on my car. I take extremely good care of my car am very concerned with the level of care taken by this company. Also after the tech asked me to help him install my window as he was putting it in he is saying as he is trying to get window in proper place he kept saying these windows suck , these suck!!!! As well then proceeded to tell me There not the best quality !! Also he made a mess of interior lining he did help clean it up but don't think all the stains he made came out. Not a 100% satisfaction. Also have a ding in my trunk lid which was not there prior. Should have paid the extra $500 bucks went to dealership and had OEM parts with hopefully better care. The initial customer service is great when you are scheduling an appointment online. However, when we went there no one ever talk to us about the cracks in the car. They just got the car and worked on it between the service area and outside (the parking area). When the tech was finished he just said he was finished. I had to remove the stool he used to stand on to get into the car. I could see where he repaired the crack - the color didn't look clear- it was like a white color. Terrible service. Guy never came for appointment. Waited all day. Came the next morning at 7:30am and had the wrong parts, no seal for window. Went back to shop and texted me to say it's coming in later in day. NO one called me back! I called at 4:30 and NO one answers. Called tech and he says it's just not coming with attitude. COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT. Worst customer experience I've had in many years. Brought wrong windshield first day service was scheduled, and then even after the technician saw the car with the correct (broken) windshield, brought SECOND wrong windshield the next day. Never called back to reschedule, so after 4 days waiting, I had to find another vendor. Their schedule include a FIVE hour window for replacement, so plan on waiting around half a day. And you can't call or text because of the antiquated communications used. I highly recommend looking for an alternative to this company. I recently made an appointment to change my broken windshield with them. I called in and told them make, model, and year of my car (2019 Kia), and was hoping to have it done at work because they will come to you to fix it. The person over the phone said that I would have to bring it in because their were calibrations that had to be made, so I scheduled with my work to take the day off and get it handled. At 6:45 the night before the appointment I received a voicemail from their technician saying they did not have the tools to calibrate it. I tried to call back several times within 10 minutes of missing their call, but no answer. Problem is I had already taken the time off work and it being almost 7pm the night before, I was unable to reschedule with anywhere else on such short notice. I don't get many days off for the year and Safelite basically made me waste one of my days. What I don't understand is why this was conveyed to me on such short notice when I made the appointment over the phone and brought it by in person for them to look at the week before so they should of been fully aware what the year, make, and model was and if they could or could not do it. I would of used them for all of my glass repair but not now. Thanks for the wasted day Safelite! "Safelite repair, Safelite will waste (your time)" should be their new slogan. read more

This is worst customer service ever I experienced. First we took the car for very small crack and we never told the crack might spread out. We left car and came back they said crack opened out and they have to replace the windshield and I have to pay for it too and I have to bring the car back next week because the have to order the windshield. After a week we came back they said for 9 o'clock appointment and it will take 2 hours to get it fix and I came back 3 hours later and car had not fix it yet. Horrible experience with this location, I brought my car to fix a small crack in my windshield and they said it will fix by $60.00 dollars and I agreed to fix it, they did not say anything about that there will be a chance of breaking the whole glass!!!!!
