Previously we were not using our backyard too often - we had huge leyland cypresses along our fenceline that absolutely choked any sunlight out of the backyard. We had moss everywhere, grass that struggled to grow in the shade and grew patchy, and some large magnolia trees that would constantly get damaged by the winter snows. We love being outdoors and spending time in our backyard, but wanted to upgrade the space. We worked with Nick to create a custom plan and redesign our backyard from the ground up, including a covered patio area with BBQ grill and flat top, mini fridge, and a beautiful stone fireplace. Nick's team wrapped the columns of the patio cover with stone, and laid it all out on a bluestone paved patio. He was also able to accommodate a hot tub, and finished it all off with lovely landscaping and plants. We even added a shed and wired it up as an extra entertainment room. Throughout the whole process Nick was patient and accommodating, and was flexible as we encountered problems or changes that needed to be made.
